Colorful and Cozy★King Bed ★Near UT, Domain, Downtown

This charming second-story apartment is completely separate from our home and boasts a bedroom with king-size bed, a projector with access to Hulu and Netflix, and laundry. The smart lock allows for self-check-in, and the HVAC is self-contained, so you don't share air with us. It is walking distance to a small grocery store and the area has great dining and take-out options.

The apartment is over the detached garage behind our house. It was built primarily for our parents and friends to stay for visits, but when they're not around, we love to host new people! At around 425 square feet, with a living area and separate bedroom, it is very comfortable for two people to stay. There is also a full-size Murphy bed in the living room that is perfect for an extra person or for a couple of kids. The living room can also be set up as a work space if desired, with a table and computer chair (this is not compatible with the Murphy bed, but doesn't impede using the couch and projector).

The apartment has a projector in the living room for TV and movies and a TV in the bedroom, as well. Both have access to our Netflix and Hulu accounts. The bedroom has plentiful storage and a balcony, perfect for sipping your morning coffee. The kitchenette does not have a stove, but does have everything you need for your morning coffee, a light breakfast or snacks, and drinks. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and plentiful towels. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. The washer and dryer in the hallway are also available for your use. For rainy days, we have books and games for your enjoyment.

We do have both a dog (a shih tzu) and a tween. You may see Worf chasing squirrels in the backyard or greeting you at the gate (he's the dog). He won't try to run away when you open the gate, but he will try to move into the apartment with you! You may also see Ash (the kiddo) in his treehouse or running around the yard. He may also greet you at the gate and try to move in with you. No need to let either one into your living space, but please be tolerant of them while they're in the yard.

For your safety and ours, we have a security camera that records the steps up to the apartment. This property is also non-smoking and no drugs. If you do choose to disable the cameras, smoke, or partake in illegal substances, your reservation will be canceled immediately, with no refund.
