Surprised it's not booked out

This is a little treasure, brand new house with all the smart tech to keep it toasty or cool depending on the weather. Doggo friendly and a great enclosed area out the back for pups to use (we didn't bring ours but wish we did after knowing this). Spacious and comfortable rooms and beds. Well stocked kitchen with nespresso. Hidden in the heart of wine country and close to all our favourite places! Will definitely try to come back.

Wonderful relaxing home

Lots of space for three families and dogs. The view over the lake was peaceful. Wineries and breweries close by…. But what’s with the on-site Rivendell winery? It’s never open! Note: The kitchen could have been better equipped.

PLENTY OF ROOM FOR FAMILY & PETS

We really enjoyed our family stay here. The villa/house is very spacious and the layout is perfect for a group of people. As they allow pets, it's ideal if you want to bring them with you. The kitchen has all of the necessities and there's plenty of dishwashing tablets, detergents, sponges, bin liners etc. to last your whole stay (something that is very lacking in other accommodation we have stayed at). Unfortunately for us, the weather was extremely hot when we were there, so it would have been nice to be over the hill from the beach, but we did realise staying at a Winery doesn't come with a beach (haha). I would agree with other reviews, the wifi is terrible, so if you are planning on doing anything on your laptop etc. this isn't an option. We had a lot of trouble also with our mobile phones but if you stand in the right spot, you can get a signal. I guess it makes it a great stay to be completely offline, so it's not a bad thing really. Lisa was a pleasure to deal with and prompt with her response to any questions. Thanks Lisa for a great property, it was like home away from home.

Great remote location in a well equipped house.

We loved the location, remote but still not too far from everything. Great to stay at a very dog friendly property. The only slight issue was the wifi which couldn’t be used most of the time due to the weak signal, maybe not such a bad thing!

Lovely winery and best of all we had the wines by the bottle available to us for purchase.

The accommodation was very spacious and quiet. The gardens and bush surrounds was very enjoyable. The kitchen is very workable and feeding 8 adults was not a problem. Very relaxing and would love to stay again. Bicycles would be handy.

Beautiful location great house

The property was beautiful, quiet and secluded. The house was in great condition, clean, well apportioned and comfortable. We really appreciated being able to bring our little dog. A really great place to stay. The only complaint was the poor internet that did not work at all for most of the stay. Cell service was also very weak. This made streaming anything or looking anything up on our phone virtually impossible. Cell service was better by the tennis court or up the hill.

Perfect for a getaway

The house was spacious, clean and bedding very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a long weekend and personal touches that made it feel like home! Our small dog loved it too. One thing to note is that reception/wifi is very spotty due to the location. We would love to come back!

Stunning Nature

It’s a awesome place for family to stay in unwind and stunning natur all around. Enjoyed the atmosphere around, beautiful lake/ early morning tennis. Overall we enjoyed a lot and we went there 3 couple with 3 kids. And all kids enjoyed running and playing around the property. We love to go again in future. SAFWAN, Rick and Yasir(all live from all little ones)

Home away from home

It is such a lovely home - so clean and well presented - the bedroooms and the kitchen. The patio outside has such a beautiful view with the birds and the little pond. The nice touches of providing yummy coooked brownies, tea, coffee, and other staples was so welcomed. We 4 couples had such a relaxing time and loved the place - will surely recommend to family & friends. Thank you Lisa!
