fantastic vacation! swimming was spectacular and the lake was perfect for swimming. Lots of areas to sit outside and enjoy the views and sunshine. Hottub was a bonus with viewing to watch Fifa World Cup! Kitchen had everything we needed and outdoor grill had propane ready to use. extra AC in bedrooms make it comfortable in the 90 degree heat spell. We would rent again
Lots to keep our kids entertained. Water trampoline would have been a great surprise but was deflated. Loved the screened in porch for meal times - and the hot tub!
The cottage was a great space. Very easy to stay and be comfortable. Our favourite was the 3 season room where we ate all our meals and the pac man game!! Rod was very responsive to all of our questions and texts and check in was a breeze. Would have expected more of a spotless clean upon arrival given the price. I look forward to staying there again in the future.
The cleaning prior to our arrival was no where near where it should have been, windows appeared to have been cleaned with a dirty rag, dirty J cloths were left in the sink, clumps of dog hair on most floor surfaces (yuck) broken blind in the main floor bedroom, raw sewage smell in the upstairs bathroom/laundry room - so bad our extended family felt I’ll and left early. The TV in the screened in room had the volume “preset” to loud & you could not adjust it. Overall a nice dated cottage (photos are not current) at the price would have expected a MUCH cleaner unit.

Ron, thanks for the feedback. It was unfortunate that during you trip that you did not mention about the smell in the bathroom, about the volume level of the tv and the not brand-new j cloth. All issues I could have resolved for you. I will speak to the cleaner about the dog hair issues and the glass. The pictures of the cottage on the website are current, so not even sure how to deal with that comment. I hope that potential customers reviewing your comments also look at the other 10 - 5/5 star comments .
This property is perfect for two families to share a great getaway. You never know what to expect when you see pics but this property was actually better in person. It’s not fancy but it had everything we and our teenaged kids could want. Plenty of water toys and recreational activities to do right off the dock which was fantastic. Tea Lake was beautiful and clean and being there during the week meant we dealt with very little water traffic. We had two dogs with us and the home is completely dog friendly.
Rod had great communication with us during our stay and was quick to respond to any of our questions which was nice.
Highly recommend this property if your looking for a fun easy going summer stay!
We had a wonderful week: 3 kids (age 10, 14, 16), grandmother and us (a couple). My wife's sister and husband joined us for 3 nights. Lots of room for everyone, very clean, fully stocked with utensils etc, lots of water toys to keep everyone interested busy, and an amazing fore pit! The owners have everything covered here and the cottage was far from rustic. A really great find. Kayaking to all corners of the lake and beyond was a real high point. Good value for the price point. We would be interested in returning.
The property was everything as advertised. Its location on a point of land enhanced the privacy of the stay, the property showed the pride of the ownership and the lake was great to swim and relax in.....wish we had booked for 2 weeks instead of 1.
Spacious, well stocked cottage and kitchen. Beautiful lake for swimming and boating. Everything you need surrounded by beauty.

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
