the property is very well maintained, every room has an ensuite. Very spacious backyard for kids to run around and pick up eggs for morning breakfast. The maze is very challenging and has a bbq hut to relax.

We had a fabulous stay. Loved the house and the location. The perfect place for a weekend in the country. Jane was the perfect host.
Planning our next trip with the family next time.
Thank you
This house was an absolute dream. It was immaculately presented with every little detail catered for. All the little added extras made it above and beyond anywhere we have stayed previously. The kitchen had everything required to cater for a group. The living areas were perfect and the fireplace provided the ideal space to sit with a glass of wine and chat. The bedrooms were spacious and the ensuites for each an added bonus. The gardens were spectacular and allowed for the perfect opportunity to sit and read, or wander around and relax. I would thoroughly recommend this outstanding home.
What an amazing getaway! The experience at Cadogan is not to be missed. The gardens are magnificent and the house is simply elegant. Nothing has been left up to chance. Everything you could possibly need in a country house has been provided. The beautifully appointed kitchen and dining rooms are inspiration for creative cooking and sharing with friends and family. The living room with open fire is just delicious on those winter nights. There are also spaces in the house where you can attend to work commitments. Also the location itself offers so much. We enjoyed long walks around the farm, driving around the area, visiting wineries and some great meals. We have already booked our next visit. Our host is to be commended. She has created something really special.

Thank you Sarah,
It was lovely to meet you and your family. We hope to see you again at Cadogan Country House. Hopefully next time you will have time for our complimentary farm tour so we can show you our historic old windmills and hand dug wells, our resident eagles and their nests, the beautiful views and our Wagyu and Angus cattle. Cheers, Jane
What a wonderful weekend we had. The house is amazing - fantastic that all bedrooms have own en-suite, lots of space, beautiful gardens and so well equipped. It felt like a home not a holiday rental. Jane and Mark were amazing hosts-nothing was too much trouble. The farm tour was great and gave a real taste of the country life. The property was so vast and beautiful. We can’t wait to go back-best weekend of relaxing. Thanks Jane and Mark.

Thank you Vikky,
We enjoyed meeting you and your group and showing you around our Wagyu beef property. Thank you for leaving Cadogan Country House so clean and tidy. It was a pleasure having you and we look forward to having you to stay again. There are lots of wonderful things to do in the Central Tablelands, including great cool climate vineyards, fantastic restaurants, delicious local produce and beautiful scenery, not to mention 'Food Week', Wine Week' and the 'Winter Fire Festival' to name a few, so plenty of reasons to come back for another visit.
Cheers,
Jane
We recently stayed with friends at Cadogan Country house for a midweek break. We came for a mini holiday with 2 other couples and the girls and I were able to bring our horses.
The house is luxurious and spotlessly clean. It is beautifully appointed and has a lovely outlook into a private country garden. We visited local wineries and enjoyed wine and cheese under the shady trees in the garden. We BBQed some delicious Dargo Grassfed Wagyu beef out on the deck and enjoyed the air conditioning and comfy beds. Mark and Jane took us on a tour of the property to show us the cattle, the wonderful views and to show us where to ride our horses.
Cadogan Country House was perfect for our stay and it was an absolute bonus to be able to bring horses, ride over the extensive property and visit the properties private maze and explore the trails in “Macquarie Woods”.
Being a nervy rider I was concerned about how the horses were going to react to the traffic that would pass through the woods , though being such a secluded area was minimal to none!
We can't wait to return!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the weekend at Cadogan Country House. It was the perfect country escape with modern luxuries. The house was completely private with a large beautiful established garden. We were surrounded by picturesque farmland that we were able to explore. Will certainly visit again!
