There were ants in the kitchen that got into our boxed donuts. Very disturbing. The view was excellent but the windows were very dirty. The tv was almost impossible to navigate and there were no written instructions to help us.

STUNNING VIEWS AND LOCATION

We adored this stay in Waldport. Peaceful, clean, beautiful, relaxing, and so much light. Great stop on your Oregon Coast journey. Nearby highlights: Luna Sea restaurant has delicious halibut. Hilltop Cafe-bistro has the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tried in my life.Only negative: The 10am check-out was annoying and if you ask for ext to 11am, you get a quick brush-off text. They don't even try. This policy needs to be updated with Meredith property management because they also make you strip all the beds. Don't ask guests to do half the prep for cleaning AND also state you need 6 hours to clean.

I've stayed here twice now

First time was 2022. since then the price has increased, while the home itself remains the same. Thrift store furniture, broken heaters and a wi-fi router that needed resetting almost daily. I remember my 2022 stay and i had no problem booking it again in 2025. for some reason, it does not have the same fell as it before. maybe due to a lack of maintenance and general upkeep. The owner needs to invest and we should stop paying these high prices. There will not be a third time at this place

Beautiful view and responsive hosts

First, the view is unbeatable. My dad happily spent a whole day looking out at the ocean while working on puzzles (they have so many puzzles too!). The kitchen has all of the pans and utensils you need to cook your own meals, but be sure to bring your own staples like sugar and coffee. Lastly, the hosts were SUPER responsive when I asked questions after hours, which I very much appreciated.

Beautiful view of ocean

This property worked perfectly for us. Four of us scrapbooked for 4 days. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen is nice sized so we could have more than one prepping meals.The bedrooms are good sized and beds are comfortable.

Nice get away!

This was just a nice us weekend! Home was clean and well maintained! Great for two couples or couple and kid or two! I would have liked check out to be 11 or 12. Seems like it gets earlier and earlier. Also sad all the taxes and fees turn 100 per night for two nights into 500 for two nights.

Nice home with view

Nice home, good location near Alsea bay for crabbing. Lots of parking. One odd thing was garage was not useable as there was a car in it!

House needs TLC

House needs some TLC. Needs carpet, couch, mattress in 2nd bedroom. Dining room chairs have no padding left. Walls & baseboard are blemished. The add pictures hide all of this

Priced too high for this property

Misleading pictures of this beautifuly clean deck. The deck had green mold as well as the dirty that is supposed to be a clear railing. The grill was disgusting and I was told to go get the charcoal (not covered). I ran out of room should be able to include pictures I tookcover

Excellent location-a few disappointing amenities

A HUGE disappointment to find that the washer did not work and NO ONE notified us prior to our trip. Not good when you pack light expecting to wash clothes. 2nd, we expected a BBQ grill, none was there; then found a charcoal grill in the garage. However, it is charcoal, in poor shape, and we had not planned on having to buy briquettes and lighter fuel. The type of grill should be made clear in the amenities section, so guests can plan accordingly. So be advised, there is not a BBQ grill, only a briquette grill. A few minor things; the couch pillows are filthy. One is in shreds, literally, on one side. Furthermore, there are chipped plates and mugs. Two mugs are SO chipped that they are dangerous and should be thrown away. VERY nice to have clean carpets and windows. And with the view, it was nice to enjoy those clean windows. As others noted, the house photos look exactly as seen online. The neighborhood was very quiet, also as noted in the description. Unfortunately two neighbors' dogs were not so quiet. One barked every morning, early (between 2-5 a.m.) and another dog barked off and on all day. The location is excellent. A short drive south to Heceta Head Lighthouse and other interesting sites; a short drive north to Newport and DePoe Bay, lighthouses, and other places of interest. Driftwood Beach is only a mile away and it is it a pretty and a quiet beach.

Home was comfortable, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately, communication was slow in coming. We did not receive instructions for entry until I called several times a half hour before arrival.

Best view!

It’s nice when the pictures accurately reflect the property. The view is the highlight of the house. From the kitchen/dining area, the living room, main bedroom, and the deck the view of the beach and ocean is beautiful. House was very well equipped and clean.

pacific blue visit

Enjoyed it very much and are coming back this fall. It is very close to the Meredith office in Waldport and the lady there was wonderful to help us. A problem was trying to access TV channels on the TV in the main living area - could access only NetFlix.. The TV in the master bedroom did not work at all. Hope that is resolved for our next visit. Very nice view and quiet friendly neighborhood very convenient to the Pacific Coast Highway.

Great place for my friends and I

Good location for walking and just hanging out; quiet; comfortable. Nice to have the doors open at night to hear the ocean. the two bedroom are in separate parts of the house which was nice for two couples.
