The Sandpiper Condominium's Unit 602 is a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom, beachfront condo in Port Aransas, Texas. Located on the 6th floor this unit has wonderful views, offering peaceful vacation time. This condo has recently been remodeled and is decorated in a lovely modern beach style. Each room is spacious and inviting from the Living Room views to the fully equipped Kitchen, and comfortable bedding arrangements.
This Unit is a lovely 2 Bedroom Unit and you can't help but feel relaxed when you are here. The beach front views give off rays of sunshine to the soul and put you right into the vacation mode you came for. The Living Area is furnished nicely accompanied by a 50" flat screen TV with a blu-ray player. In the Kitchen, you can still see the beaches of Port Aransas while whipping up a family favorite with everything you may need to prepare it, except for the groceries which if you did bring them, this particular condo has plenty of pantry space! The Dining Table sits 6 comfortably for enjoyment of family time and the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico.If you are here on business or need to print out your boarding passes an extra feature this unit has is a printer available for your use right inside the condo.

In the Master Suite you are greeted with a comfort to an inviting King sized bed. You can enjoy your privacy in this room with the connected Private Master Bathroom. There is a walk-in shower with shelving for all of your toiletries and beautiful granite counter tops with plenty of space for belongings.

The Guest Bedroom has a queen bed along with a twin bed with furnishings to make everyone feel right at home. Connected to this room and the hallway is the Guest Bathroom that has a full sized tub with shower capabilities. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans in the living room as well as mounted 32" flat screen televisions with blu-ray players attached.

Fantastic property. The condo appeared exactly as listed, with plenty of thoughtful extras. Loved the everchanging views of the water from the super-private balcony. Checkin/checkout was a breeze. The condo was quiet. We didn't hear neighbors or construction. Restaurants, groceries, and things to do were a quick drive away. All-around great weekend getaway!

The building and condo unit were both fantastic! The condo was clean and beds comfortable. The building offered chair and umbrella placement on the beach for a minimal cost which was really nice as we didn’t have to rush to the beach to reserve our spot. The view from the condo was even better than shown in the picture.

What a beautiful property! The kitchen was well equipped, loved that towels were replenished, trash bags, dish soap etc were provided. We also enjoyed the puzzles. The staff were very helpful and so friendly. We are definitely coming back.

Winter Getaway

Beautiful and a great location. The unit has a great view of the beach right off of the balcony. You can watch birds, helicopters go by, shrimp boats, and vehicles driving on the beach. The property staff were super helpful and kind. The beds were very comfortable as well as the living and dining furniture. Suggestions: knives need to be sharpened and then they’ll be good to go. The unit needs a set of oven mitts for when you cook in the condo. The water heater is small so cycling am and pm showers is a good idea. It was a great location just 8 miles in both directions to town. The other guests gave us excellent recommendations for things to do. Mac-Daddy’s had delicious food. Port Aransas is a great beach getaway

Lovely condo and property, very few negatives

Absolutely lovely condo, very modern and beautifully furnished. From the back balcony the beach is so close you feel as if you can practically touch it. It truly is a beachfront property as stated. There is nothing between the balcony and the beach; it's right there! The Sandpiper property itself is also very, very nice. Everything is clean and tidy and kept up with daily. It's almost like being in a very nice hotel where everyone is always friendly and helpful. It's got a nice pool and jacuzzi, endless complimentary beach towels (next time we know not to bring our own), and the staff is just amazing. You can reserve a big umbrella and nice beach chairs right on the beach. We asked at the front desk and within minutes they radioed the beach staff and our umbrella and chairs were waiting for us when we walked out to the beach (35$ day fee well worth it!). No messing with canopies or chairs; it's all done for you. The condo and overall property is very quiet and peaceful and on a beautiful part of the beach where there isn't a ton of activity or people with fishing rods in the water (last year at a different rental my daughter got tangled in someone's hook). The only negatives: if you like to cook (or drink coffee) the condo kitchen is a bit underwhelming and in desperate need of a Keurig coffee maker, kitchen scissors, and a cookie sheet. Other than that, it was amazing and we plan to book this same condo next year. It's wonderful! We can't wait to be back.

Girls trip

My sister, best friend and I had the best time recreating a trip we took 17 yrs ago. It was the perfect condo. Beds were comfortable (altho one was a bit squeaky), it had everything we needed to cook a few meals and the deck view was AMAZING! The only negative thing I have to say is I thought it would have a washer/dryer in the unit. Apparently there is a laundry somewhere on the property but it was to inconvenient so we just bagged up wet, sandy clothes to take home and wash. I would definitely go back!

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary and stay in 602. The condo was beautiful and the view spectacular. To wake up and see the ocean each morning was just what we needed. This was our first time in Port A but not our last. We will be back and we will return to the Sandpiper.

Winter Get-Away

We enjoyed the view of the Gulf and the comfortable accommodations of this unit. It was a respite from the cold snap in the Midwest. We found the staff at the Desk to be most helpful; very polite and responsive to any questions we had. The Sandpiper is a great location; far enough away from Port A yet close enough by car when you want to enjoy what the town offers in the way of shopping and restaurants.

Great stay on the beach

We loved our long weekend at the Sandpiper. Our condo was clean and stocked with dishes and towels. Some restaurants, H‑E‑B, and Instacart deliver to the condo. The view from the little balcony was beautiful and we loved the short walk down to the beach! There were always beach towels available to use. Food trucks come to the parking lot too!
