⸻ A Perfect Weekend Getaway!We had the most wonderful weekend visiting our sons at college and staying at this beautiful, quiet house on the lake. The setting was peaceful and relaxing — the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. We loved sitting by the water, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, and watching the kids play in the yard. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a cozy family weekend. We’re already looking forward to coming back — truly a hidden gem!

Everything about this property was amazing. The house was clean with plenty of spaces to sit and relax with amazing views of the lake. Would definitely stay here again. Great proximity to world class disc golf courses as well. That was a highlight for me and why we came.

This is our 2nd year returning to lake Whittmore. We couldn’t wait to get there, and weren’t ready to leave. The house meets all of our families needs and is so clean. We love starting our day on the porch overlooking the beautiful yard and lovely lake until the fun begins. The children love the beach, swimming, the paddle boat and fishing. The hosts are wonderful!!!

This was our second time staying at this wonderful place. Excellent layout...three comfortable bedrooms. Loved the sun porch and the sloping lawn down to a small private swimming place. Town swimming "next door" but quiet. The lake was very refreshing during two very hot and humid days.

Graduation trip

Wonderful lakefront property close to Worcester, Brimfield and Sturbridge. The home was perfect for a family tip for a Holy Cross graduation. Christine was the perfect host, she was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Her kindness and attention to detail made us feel right at home! We would definitely return.

Visit to MA

Property was perfect for our trip. The three bedrooms worked for us: we were two couples and two adult sisters taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Duplex is on a lovely lake and next to a nice park...if the weather cooperates (we got snow). Nice rural area but be careful making a left turn onto hwy 9 as it's kind of a blind corner. Local restaurants weren't fancy but had great food and service. There's a Walmart a couple miles up the road. We visited Springfield, Boston, Cambridge, Lexington-Concord, Plymouth, and this was a great location for all that. Boston Area: miserable traffic and parking so plan accordingly. And in MA in general Pot is fully legal so take that into account if that fragrance really bothers you. Also, having an E-Z Pass paid off as there are lots of tolls.

Nice quiet spot on the lake

My brother and i stayed in this property over the weekend while attending a music festival in nearby Worcester. The property has plenty of space for 8 or more people and two full size baths. It also has a 3 seasons room and patio furniture with a nice view of the lake in the backyard. The owner/host was very nice and responsive. Overall, this was a great property that we would return to. My only criticism is the listing does not make it clear that the owner lives in a connected unit under the same roof that shares a common hallway. She also has what appears to be a flower shop (or at least a workshop where she arranges flowers for deliveries) right next to the property. So it's not nearly as private as the listing might lead you to believe. But again, we enjoyed it overall and the owner didn't bother us at all, so we would likely return if in that area.

Lake House

Beautiful property with easy access to the lake. The three of us were comfortable with the home. The house is in a hilly neighborhood which would not be ideal for older adult walkers, but was fine for us. There was an unusually strong "garlicky" smell in the house that could use some scented or odor neutralizing candles. I don't know if it was from cooking, the floral shop or a natural insect repellant. Just worthy of note. A dehumidifier was in one of the bedrooms. Window air conditioners are in each bedroom for comfort. It was very nice not to have to bring bed linens and towels. Thank you for the use of your lake house.
