“The Villager” located in the heart of downtown North Conway, is a great vacation spot for any time of year! This bright and cheerful Cape style home will comfortably sleep 7 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The updated kitchen offers beautiful stainless-steel appliances including a gas stove for the cooking enthusiast and dishwasher for easy clean up. The beautiful granite counter tops accent this kitchen beautifully and even offer breakfast bar seating for 2. The living room is open to the kitchen and have a large flat screen TV for your favorite shows and movies and a charming gas fireplace perfect for that cozy cabin feel. Off the main living area, you will find a spacious bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2) and flat screen TV, a full bathroom with double vanity, laundry room with washer and dryer and a mudroom off the kitchen which is perfect for storing outdoor equipment.

The upstairs offers 2 additional bedrooms as well as a second full bathroom. The first bedroom includes a king size bed (sleeps 2) and the second bedroom has a full bed (sleeps 2) and twin bed (sleeps 1). Both bedrooms upstairs have a flat screen TV.

Outside you will enjoy the large yard with picnic table and new outdoor pizza oven! For the outdoor enthusiast the owner has also provided a fire pit (permit required) and gas fire pit (no permit required) for guests to enjoy.

When staying at this house, you are close to everything that North Conway has to offer. Skiing, hiking, biking, shopping, restaurants… You name it, it is only moments away!

***SMALL dogs considered with restrictions (please contact us for details). This property does not allow large dogs.***

First Floor: Kitchen, living room, bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, laundry room.

Second Floor: Bedroom with king bed, bedroom with double bed and twin bed, full bathroom.

Amenities include: Dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, cable TV, internet, gas fire place and window unit air conditioners in all 3 bedrooms and living room (warmer months only). Gas and wood burning fire pit available for outdoor use. Wood burning fire pit will require a permit from the fire department. New as of May 2023 - Outdoor Pizza Oven!

Check-In: Will take place at a local Real Estate office any time after 4:00pm – Specific instructions and addresses will be emailed upon booking confirmation

Cozy mountainside home in a great location. Walkable to downtown and easy drive to all of the outdoor attractions. The rental was in great shape with all of the amenities you would expect. The real estate agent managing the property was on top of the entire rental process and made it easy for us to check in after hours.

We found the " Villager " as described in the listing. It is very close to downtown North Conway . Shopping and restaurants are nearby as well as the railroad. Comfy home .

Awesome location for a nice house!

Pros: Great location - short walk or drive into North Conway shopping and restaurants; A/C in each room was clutch, as it was warm when we were there; laundry was great to have (especially when you have little kids) Cons: Rental office was about 10 minutes away, and only offers a 1-hour window for arrival (though they will make other accommodations) - just tough to schedule when driving long distance

Perfect for Family Summer Fun

This property was family friendly and the location was great to make some memories with our kiddos! From Storyland to downtown North Conway, the house was perfectly situated to quickly get to day excursions like the amusement park, or to walk downtown for a quick Zeb’s visit! The king bedroom was more than enough room for adults and a kids portable air mattress, and the additional rooms were set up for the comforts of a longer stay. The grill and pizza oven were nice options for when we wanted to eat a quick dinner or lunch at home. The living room was spacious enough to hangout with the kids.The only note we had was that the stairs up to the 2nd floor are steep and if you have young kids, you should bring a baby gate (which we did!) It was not a huge deal to bring the linens to the property as there was laundry on site, so easy to wash everything prior to making the trip home! Will definitely consider this property again!

Charming home close to everything North Conway

In addition to all of the 5 star ratings given: kitchen appliances all new, everything you need to cook / eat at home, access to skiing/snowboarding, shopping, restaurants, 3 min drive to Cranmore resort, 18 min drive to Attitash, 10 min walk to downtown, house gets very warm especially upstairs, washer dryer excellent, TV in every bedroom (kids loved that and they got to each have their own room), house can comfortably sleep 5, ample blankets, comforters, pillows, bring your own sheets/ pillow cases for bedding and towels for bathrooms or can rent from agent, backyard covered in snow and was great for us to play ball with our dog, driveway was plowed while we were there during a small winter storm, all-in-all a great family vacation

Great location for leaf peeping

The unit is conveniently located near activities and shopping in N. Conway. And it's easy to get to both Maine and Vermont. The garbage dumpster (where you have to dispose of your garbage) is also conveniently located a 10-15 minute drive from the unit. As is the store where you can buy linens, towels, and wash clothes that you'll need if you didn't have room for them in your luggage. The unit is easy to find through GPS, and you can't miss it once you get close due to the Pepto Bismol pink color. The beds were comfortable, and the unit was large enough for a party of three. We had a great time in NH, Maine, and Vermont, all of which we visited from the unit.

Annual North Conway family vacation

House was very clean upon our arrival. Pictures made it look a bit bigger, but it was very nice and well maintained. Kitchen well stocked for cooking, but very limited storage for food. Also gas grill not usable (reported to property manager at end of stay). Enough rooms for all to sleep, but not enough seating for all to comfortably hang out. Having to go to real estate agent at beginning and end of stay was bit of a hassle, no keys to retrieve - paperwork could have been signed online. The best location we have stayed at! Great outside patio and yard.

Terrific Location,

We rented this house and loved it! The house is very clean and comfortable and is well maintained. The kitchen has everything you could want and the washer & dryer were a nice bonus. The cozy gas fireplace in the living room took the chill off a cool night. The backyard is huge and has a gas grill and picnic table with an umbrella. The location is terrific. You can walk to downtown the restaurants, the train station and the shops, the ski slopes are nearby and the outlets and Storyland are short drive away. The best part is that you don’t have to drive through downtown to get places and can avoid the traffic. Courtney, the property manager, was fantastic! She was very responsive and quickly answered all of our questions. If you are looking for a great place to go for breakfast or lunch Sunrise Shack and Peaches are both incredible! We highly recommend this property and will be booking it again the next time we are in North Conway!

First of all, make sure you know the linens and towels are NOT provided-which is the first time I've ever heard of this in all the short term rentals I've stayed in all across the country. In looking at their site, it is definitely more prominently displayed now, but when we booked (a year in advance) it was not. We were able to contact the real estate company and they provided exactly the number of towels of people in our group (4) and sheets for 2 beds-which we had to make up ourselves. We stayed two nights. Overall, the house was comfortable, but it is obvious that it is a pet friendly home-They burn a very strong candle to mask that but once that is gone....pet smell. Nice seating in the back yard when the weather permits (which it did and we sat out there one evening). It's walkable to the main areas of town.Make sure you bring along ALL toiletries (liquid soap at sinks provided). They have laundry available in case you have to wash the towel they provide. The real estate company was easy to contact and professional. There is no auto check in...you have to go to the real estate office between 4 and 5pm (when they close) to check in before heading to the house.Although we were comfortable for the most part, I would not stay here again just for the things noted above. Maybe it's a North Conway thing not to provide basics, but again, I've never heard of it anyplace we've ever stayed and we would have just picked a hotel had we known.

Very well-equipped kitchen with lots of basic ingredients. Two different coffeemakers (drip and Keurig). It was nice that we could have rented linens; renters be aware that no-linens-supplied includes mattress pads.

Great stay!

We stayed at The Villager in August 2022 with our three kids (ages 6, 5, and 5). Communication with Courtney both before and during the stay was seamless. House was very clean at check-in. Location was perfect for exploring the area - we liked being able to walk into N Conway but then also having easy access to drive to Jackson. The house looks exactly as the pictures online show. We had a great stay!
