The house was practical for a family stay, clean and well equipped with everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the sunshine. Great quiet spot close to all Port Stephens has to offer. We will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the property is very well equipped and had something for everyone, even a yard for the fur kids. A well stocked pantry, a plethora of board and card games, and comfy beds made for an enjoyable stay. We'll definitely be back!

Always love to here guests enjoyed their stay and the little things that make a difference. Thank you, Liam & Kim
This house is in a great location and so close to lots of amazing beaches and activities. It was just as described and had plenty of room for the whole family, we especially loved the balcony and sitting out there enjoying the fresh ocean air - so peaceful. The hosts messaged us to let us know that we could check in a bit earlier as the house was ready which we really appreciated.
We would definitely stay there again!
Liam the owner has been very helpful & easy to communicate. The house is fully equipped with stuff to use & most of all the pantry has everything you need. Clean & tidy, neighbourhood is quiet, friendly next door neighbour.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the lovely review. Liam
The house is somewhat on the small side for 8 people, but cute & cozy and has a nice balcony, and the kitchen has a good view.
The street is quiet, and it's a short walk to a lovely beach with a good kids' swing.
The owner seemed nice, and was very responsive to our requests.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
This house had everything we needed for a family holiday. Two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the balcony and BBQ area to relax as the backyard is out of the way. There is only one air conditioner in the living room and so the bedrooms can get a bit warm but this can be helped by opening windows for a great cross wind.

Thank you for the lovely review and we agree that because of the high position of the house, opening the windows to the lovely afternoon breezes help cool the house down. The air conditioner also has an option to send air further which really helps cool all areas, but we noticed someone has moved the little guide we had prepared, so I will replace it.
Property has two bedrooms on the ground level and two more at the upper level. Kitchen and living areas are upstairs. Kitchen was well supplied but we had to ask for kitchen towels and tissue paper, which were delivered the next day. Netflix and other subscription services plus board games made the house very self contained. One thing missing was a hairdryer. Liam was very fast in responding to messages. Minutes from Nelson Bay and other attractions. Highly recommended!
Very good location. Property is very clean and hosts were quick with responses. We had a fabulous holiday and would definitely recommend this to our friends.
The property was a short drive to Bagnalls Dog Beach and Anna Bay sand dunes. The home itself was luxurious, immaculately presented and had EVERYTHING you would need including clean linen, a stocked pantry and a coffee machine. We spent the morning watching the lorikeets and the afternoon breeze all from the balcony.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. I love that afternoon breeze!
Liam was the most amazing host we've experienced - and I've experienced a lot! The check in process was seamless and we were permitted access earlier which was a life saver as we had 2 babies that needed naps !! The kitchen was so stocked which made our lives a lot easier as we didn't need to rush out to the shop. Besides an unwelcome spider lurking in one of the rooms, it was immaculate! Internet was fast and location perfect for us. The park at the end of street was an added bonus. Thanks so much Liam - we'll definitely be booking this house again!!

Thank you so much for the lovely review and I am so glad you had a good time and could relax despite all these Covid concerns. Liam
Fantastic location for family with dogs who all love water.
House very clean heap of pantry stuff and cooking utensils. My teenage daughter loved the free internet and Netflix plus heap of other offerings to keep all happy at night.
House short walk to bay. Easy drive to beaches. House would be ideal for younger families as all attractions are very close by.

About the host
Hosted by Liam or Kim
We live in the Hawkesbury on the outskirts of Sydney so this is our holiday home to get some of the best of Aussie coastal lifestyle without big city prices.
Why they chose this property
We had worked overseas and came back to be near parents who were aging. So we lived in Port Stephens for 5 years before moving to Sydney but we could never bring ourselves to sell this house as we feared never being able to get back on such a quite street later. It’s only a few hundred metres to the beach but on the high side of a quiet street so it catches beautiful afternoon breezes so essential in Australia.
What makes this property unique
4 decent size bedrooms split 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Nice balcony to watch the world go by, catch the cool afternoon breeze and patio downstairs to enjoy the sounds in the garden. Plenty of parking even for a boat or caravan.
