Wonderful stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is a short distance from many restaurants and activities. The house was clean upon arrival, upstairs is very cozy and the living room couch is comfy! It was wonderful being able to park in the garage. Downstairs was cold and our family of four predominantly stayed upstairs throughout our stay. The beds were comfy with plenty of extra blankets, but I would recommend bringing your own pillows if you’re able to as the ones on all the beds are very thin and flat. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils and gadgets. We would have liked to sit outside but the downstairs deck does not have seating, and the upper porch couch did not have any cushions.The only issue we had was with the hot tub not being warm the first night, but the property manager responded very quickly and said they would send someone out the next day to take a look. The spa does seem a bit older, and we just needed to have patience since it was warmer the next morning but did not feel as hot as the displayed temperature.

Great home in a wonderful neighborhood. Easy access to great hiking and town. Very comfortable house with a nice backyard for dog time.

Good location

Overall it was good. Some of the basic needs, such a showers (1 out of 3) were not functioning for the first 2 days and one more the last 1.5 days (at that point it was not worth waiting for the repair), also the power outlets stopped working halfway of our stay (again not worth the wait for the repair). The manager kept communicating which it was good. Kitchen was well stocked (a regular coffee machine would be great) Good property but it needs some maintenance

Overall our stay was nice, the property management was quick to fix the screen when we needed. An outdoor coffee table would be a nice addition for future stays for guests and maybe more outdoor furniture to the backyard for seating to accommodate guests especially to enjoy the hotter summer nights. Great Overall Experience

We really enjoyed our stay at Cubby Bear and made good use of the amenities including the BBQ which had back up propane which was nice. Having the garage door opener available was really helpful for returning from our ski trips. Would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful Family Getaway

My family and I stayed here for two nights. It was a lovely home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The fenced yard was a great place for the kids and dog to play. Very comfortable beds and couch. We will definitely be back with more family. There was plenty of room for two families to stay comfortably.

The house was everything we wanted and we very much enjoyed it. Only minor detail that got noticed was the kitchen needs to have a new 4 slice toaster. Currently there is only an old 2 slice toaster. We had 8 people, lots of waiting on the toaster. Plenty of space for everyone and a great set up between the living room, kitchen and dinner table. We spent lots of our time gathered together in that very spacey area. Would definitely stay there again.

The hot tub didn't get as hot as we would like it but it was fine. Everything else was pretty good. The master bedroom was pretty cold, so I am not sure why the central heat didn't seem to work in there but there were plenty of blankets to keep us cozy. The upstairs shower was difficult to control the water temp and i think needs to be repaired because you can't really completely shut it off.

Beautiful clean home in a beautiful location

The house was just as described. Clean and spacious. Our family of 8 with our two dogs had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was fully stocked for our chef in the family to make wonderful meals. The fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. It was an easy and quick drive to everything! Would stay again!

Very comfortable king bed in master with adjoining bath with double-headed shower. Upstairs family room had plenty of space for several people to hang out, large capacity table and extra bar stools too. New oven and large refrigeration. Upstairs deck with comfortable couch seating and BBQ. Grandkids enjoyed the rock wall and games downstairs. Larger bathroom for both bedrooms to share worked out well. Garage space adequate but not large enough for pick up truck due to watercraft in the garage already. We really enjoyed the home otherwise.

Well appointed kitchen. Nice appliances. The large dining table was able to accommodate our group of 9 comfortably. Activities for kids on lower level. The large, fenced rear yard worked great for the kids and dog. Backyard deck only had 1 chair so we used our camp chairs.

Fantastic stay!

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect, worked, was clean, and enjoyable. We were close to a lot of recreation and stores. We loved cooking in the kitchen, hanging out in the big living room, and watching our kids on the climbing wall and in the hot tub. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely stay in Tahoe and at spacious Cubby Bear

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house, great location. Shower handle in upstairs hall bathroom came off, BBQ absolutely filthy. Fire hazard! Levelors in downstairs bunk room were frozen on right window and did not operate first night. Master bathroom shower drains slowly - needs work. Landscape co was reseeding both front and back lawns and was excessively watering. Rear yard was basically a mud pit. We could not use the back yard at all because of its wet condition. We should have been told about this ahead of time. A big disappointment. Service from RnR was responsive when called. Property should be more carefully checked and serviced in between renters. Houue clean but not BBQ.
