Sequoia Chalet is located at the bottom of Kingsbury Grade on the Nevada side of town. This home has bedding in three bedrooms, a loft and a den sleeping a total of 14 people.

From this location you are walking distance to the local bus routes, that will take you in towards the casinos, restaurant, shops the lake and more. Walking distance from this neighborhood are a few local shops and restaurants at the base of Kingsbury Grade. Watch a game at Mott Canyon Tavern & Grill, enjoy a delicious breakfast at Red Hut Cafe, or enjoy Thai food at Thai One On. Kahl Park and Community Center is also just a short walk from this home, where there are jungle gyms, basketball courts and gym facilities available.

A short 3 - 5 minute drive will take you into the Heavenly Village and the state line. This is where the casinos are located, shops, restaurants, bars and grocery stores are. In the winter, the Heavenly Mountain Resort's Gondola is only a five minute drive (or bus ride) away. Or you can drive up the mountain and access the ski lifts from the Statecoach or Boulder Lodges, only an 8 minute drive. In the summer, Nevada Beach is just a short bike ride or drive where you can enjoy the clear, cold waters of Lake Tahoe.

This spacious home is perfect for a larger family or group. The 3,000 square feet is spread over two floors and a loft. The open living areas are on the second floor. The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances, plenty of storage and ample counter space with the large island. In addition to the stove, the island has a small sink, bar area and seating on stools. With the open concept layout, you can see the whole living and dining area while cooking in the kitchen.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining table, with seating for six and surrounded by large windows allowing for great light. The living room was recently updated with all new floors and different couches (leather), and flat screen television. New photos coming soon!

A large deck is accessible from the living room or dining area. The large deck is perfect for an outdoor meal, and there is a BBQ and patio chairs/furniture for guest use.

The master bedroom is located down the hallway off of the kitchen. This master suite features a California King sized bed and a twin bed. There is an en suite maser bathroom with large stand-up shower, double vanity sinks.

In addition to the living areas and master bedroom, the upper level has a full bathroom and a den with a sofa bed. The stairs to the loft bedroom are off of the living room, and take you in to a large room with two double beds and a twin bed.

The entry level floor features the two remaining bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a game room with a pool table. Also on this floor is the indoor access to the two car garage.

Nicely maintained home.

There were some really good things about the property and then some just average things. When we arrived the lockbox code wouldn't work. Apparently, the code was changed and I wasn't given the new code. We had to wait for about an hour before we finally got access. This was unfortunate because we had just finished our long drive, picked up pizza, and was excited to watch the bowl game. Once we got inside we found out the TV was not the size advertised and the channels available did not allow for the bowl game to show.

The home overall was very nice and spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the desired utensils and appliances. The downstairs shower left a lot to be desired in terms of water pressure.

It would have been nice if this home had a fire place. It adds to the mountain effect and character of the home. All in all we had a good stay and it was more about the company and the good times which this house did facilitate. Being less than a mile to the gondola and close to the grocery store was a big plus as well.

101 Sequoia Dr, Stateline NV - Winter Retreat

We really love and enjoy our stay at the 101 Sequoia Dr. Our kids love the snow pile where they played snow sledding. The house was well prepare as far as trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissues, and soaps were provided enough for us to use. The property has 4 beds and 3 baths, pool table, deck, washer/dryer, corner lot. It is a very clean house, love the kitchen with beautiful and power range hood. We really love it and definitely would rent again in the future. I would love to recommend anyone to rent this property. It had only couple window blinds that are broken, but I still give it a 5-star rating.

Spacious and close to Heavenly but not a luxary as we expected.

We stayed at this property with my two sisters and their families. The location was great and the house was spacious with great views but we were disappointed as how run down the furniture of this house was. The house was advertised as a luxury house but it was far from it. The dinning chairs, specially one of them was so unstable that we couldn't sit on. The sofa bed was so old and so uncomfortable that we ended putting its cushions on the floor and sleeping on that. The blankets were very thin and very old. The bed spreads were old and not good looking. The curtains were old and some were dirty. The stove was not very clean. We ended up cleaning it some more ourselves. The appliances were good brands and worked well. The kitchen supplies were placed very unorganized. It was hard to find things. Overall we had a good time because we were with our loved ones and there was nice snow and nice views during our stay but please do not advertise this property as a luxury property. The price was too high for what this rental is worth.
