the property was perfect for a dog friendly girls trip! very spacious and clean. we didnt use the hot tub but we had 2 nights where we had perfect views of the stars. my dog enjoyed his stay as well! chose this location for easy driving to burlington and st johnsbury and would definitely stay again.
The DogHaus was the perfect place to stay with our adult children for our daughter’s wedding in Waterbury. Everyone loved how much room there was to spread out. Not too far to get into town to get groceries. Loved the industrial coffee maker. The kitchen was well equipped.
Wonderful place has everything for my family and the owner was very responsive “I recommend this house to every one who is coming with large groups

Had a lovely, comfortable stay with the family. Enjoyed the hot tub and gas fireplace. Had ample kitchen tools for cooking meals and great Bunn commercial coffee maker! Owner was responsive and so friendly!
Our family of 6 adults and 2 children stayed here for a weekend. Was a great location for our needs . The house was also well suited to our needs. Probably a great place to stay during ski season!
Great spot feels like staying at grandmas house. Rather than a character-less corporate run stay, this actually feels like staying in someone’s house. Very cozy, and we even saw a bear in the yard! Would recommend this stay to a family or group of friends looking to hang out and spend quality time together.

Amazing and Spacious Home! Love the amenities, hot tub, fire pit and fully accommodating hosts!
Our stay for our daughter’s graduation was amazing! House was spotless and fully stocked with sheets towels paper towels etc. We enjoy our stay immensely and will be back! This was close to so many great restaurants, distilleries, breweries and the biggest Ben and Jerry’s. We loved everything about this stay and the hosts were easy to reach and checked in with us!

This property was amazingly big!!! We all had our our space and bedroom. It was clean beyond our expectations and the hosts were available with any questions at all. We loved the hot tub and fire pit and enjoyed the great kitchen as well. Can’t wait to go back!!
The location of the house was good for Bolton Valley, and Stowe and great for Sugarbush. The house has all you need for entertainment, comfort and amenities. We especially liked the fast drip, commercial coffee maker! The hot tub was also a hit after skiing each day. Good communication, well maintained and plenty of room.

Classic Vermont!
The accommodations were delightful, the house is roomy for a large group while maintaining a cozy feeling. Nicely stocked with pots and pans if you want to stay in and cook! The house is very close to the mountain, and the hot tub and fire pit make for a wonderful evening.

Thanks for the kind comments. We try very hard to make it enjoyable for all who choose to stay at our house. Hope to see you again next year.
Sincerely,
Kevin
We shared this house with some family friends for a wedding weekend in June. I appreciated the communication leading up to the weekend with clear instructions for how to get in and a few FYIs. Overall it was a great location, had more than enough space for us and offered a very functional kitchen for meal prep. This is a property that very much feels like you’re staying in someone else’s house - the cabinets and drawers are overflowing with towels, dishes, toiletries etc. I can imagine how cozy it would be in winter after a long day on the slopes.

ideal for our family vacation minus snow and ski
we loved this home-the layout, amenities including hot tub and firepit-felt like camp!
kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed meal prep and eating in the dining room.
TVs were great
library for reading and quiet worked well
great mud room and we needed it as it was muddy instead of snowy
we hope to return as a family when there is real snow to ski.

Thanks for the kind words Alice, we wish we had more snow for you - we work very hard to make it a great place inside in the case of bad weather. The small villages close by and Catemount Trail out our back yard along with the fire pit and hot tub give options if low snow or not everyone in party skis or boards.
We had a wonderful stay at Hiddenwood! The house was comfortable and able to accomodate a lot of people. The fire pit with wood galore, hottub and property - and proximity to hikes and rivers - enabled us to have the quintessential VT experience. The kitchen was well equipped. The sheets on the bed were delightfully soft. Our host was always accessible to address any of our questions. We did not want to leave!
If you're looking for a fancy place where everything matches, this isn't it. But if you want a place that's cozy, comfortable, spacious, and lots of outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub, and is in the middle of everything you want on a vacation -- streams, swimming holes, Warren Falls, Waterbury, and Waitsfield, a foodie's heaven -- rent this house! Also, owners are super helpful and respond immediately if you need something. This is our second year renting and it has made our Vermont vacations a delight.
This house had plenty of rooms on 3 levels for 2 families and 1 dog, with a nice raised deck and expansive outdoor space with a hot tub. The kitchen was fully equipped, if a bit overstuffed. Everything has a comfy lived-in feel. If you need to work, the wifi was flawless. Just minutes away is a hiking/mountain biking trail and a beautiful small brook with brook trout, and the town isn't too far away either, so all-in-all it's a great location and we had a fine time.
Our entire family stayed at this property (7 adults, 2 young children) as we were going to a family reunion in the area. The house was very spacious with lots of beds. It was more than adequate for our needs. Some of our party briefly used the hot tub and enjoyed it. We didn’t really get to explore the area much as we were there primarily for the reunion. However, the house worked out great for us and was perfect for our needs.
Too many fees added on. Nice location Too expensive.
Kitchen needs to be cleaned out.

Great layout for multiple families
Stayed xmas week 2017 - temperatures were sub-zero most of the week. Although we anticipated being on the mountain for the majority of the daytime hours, this was not the case. The three level house provided ample space for three families inclusive of 8 Kids not to feel crammed. Many hours were spent playing board games and on the wii. Kids loved the hot tub but even some days it was too cold for that. The hot tub is not as far from the house as the pics reveal. Owners were great and very responsive.

Very rustic
Awkward entry into garage that met us with a waff of musty/moldy smell and plethora of owners personal belongings. Entire old/rustic - could use some updating. Coffeemaker wasnt ready for guests - filter and old coffee grounds werent emptied. Owners food in fridge and pantry - odd?!?!

Owner's response: "Maureen, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We take cleanliness very seriously and normally our cleaner is a very reliable and thorough company, we have notified them as soon as we heard of the issues. There is no excuse for the coffee grounds or canisters not being cleaned. - We have a central dehumidifier that runs constantly in the lower lever which is a walkout to the back yard. It's located in the laundry room in the center of the floor but it must have been switched off accidentally. We've never experienced any dampness and generally leave windows cracked in each of the three rooms on that level. - We try to accommodate all our guests requests and we were happy to give you an early arrival and late checkout. If you'd like to give us another try we'd be happy to make it worth your while. We want you to know we do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
