We loved how remote the property was. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. We have stayed there before and, if given the opportunity, we will again. Thank you for the hospitality!

EXCELLENT STAY!

Perfect accomidations for small family or large group, as there is an ajdacent shop/apartment to help host larger groups.. Ms. Kim is a Super Host, and always there for ANYTHING you may need!!

My kids and I absolutely loved our stay! Was a perfect getaway!

We loved staying here! The pool was perfect! Watching and feeding the fish in the pond was great! We enjoyed visiting the chicken, sheep and horses, plus the cats and dogs were so sweet and friendly! The hosts were amazing! The property is so relaxing and quiet, it really was the perfect place, exactly what we needed!!

Gathering

We enjoyed the large rooms and beautiful decor of the basement apartment. It was cozy and welcoming. It was quiet, and we had much privacy. We enjoyed a Christmas gathering.

Perfect stay for families with kids

My family & I stayed here for graduation at Mizzou. Age in the house ranged from 1 year to 59 years old. everyone had a great time. The hosts were amazing at making sure we had an enjoyable stay. Best stocked place I've ever stayed as far as utensils and small items that are often forgotten. Pool and hot tub are great and the kids loved the variety of animals. Will definitely stay again.

Short stay

We just came for thw weekend to visit Finger lake state park. Was very close by and so nice to be outside of the city. Was very spacious in doors. The pool was a good bonus part of the property. Kim even had farm fresh eggs in the fridge which came in handy cause we were short a few for our breakfast one morning. Definatly would love to stay when we go paddle boarding again at the lake 🤗

Amazing

Kimberly was nothing but amazing and accommodating. Fresh clean linens were fully stocked. My family enjoyed some time being unplugged from the busy city. Fishing, swimming, and just exploring the farm. The animals were great and well behaved. I highly recommend this place and be sure to visit the Amish community in Clark.

The location was very convenient for us. However, when we arrived the floors and toilet were visibly dirty. It was disappointing to have to clean upon arrival. Under the beds were VERY dirty. There was cat hair visible on the rug. The outside dogs on property are very sweet but they are constantly trying to come inside. The dogs also chewed up two pairs of my children’s shoes. Do not leave your shoes outside!! At one point while my children were playing outside on the play set the owner‘s son‘s dog came outside and was growling and trying to bite my son. It was a bulldog and it scared my son really badly. The owner son did come out and apologize, he kept the dog inside the remainder of our trip. The pool was cloudy, but the hot tub was available. It was set at 104 and we were told we could not adjust it. That was just too hot for any of us to get in. I would not stay here again due to cleanliness and safety issues.

We're glad the location worked well for your stay. We take cleanliness seriously and the apartment was prepared and checked prior to arrival, so it's disappointing to hear this impression. The hot tub is kept at a set temperature and, like the pool, is restricted to guests 16 and older due to insurance requirements, which is noted in the listing; the jetted tub inside was available as an alternative for the kids. Regarding the dog interaction, we want to be clear that no growling or aggression toward a child occurred, though we understand young kids can be startled around unfamiliar animals, and the puppy was kept inside afterward as a precaution. We appreciate the feedback and will keep reviewing our processes to make sure future guests have a smooth and comfortable stay.

Great place for Families!

To begin with, Kimberly's was amazingly clean! Thats a great start right? My wife and I traveled with our kids (30 ish) and grandkids (1 & 3) for my youngest daughter's graduation at MIZZOU. Everyone had a great time. The farm animals, the pool and the fish pond kept everyone busy whenever we had free time. Bring your own pole for a good catch and release adventure. Luke (3 year old) caught a couple of catfish a couple of feet long. Good times. Most impressively though, Kimberly's attention to detail and desire for us to have a good time was the best part. This place is well stocked with everything you need for the kitchen and bath. Will definitely come back when the next opportunity arises.

A place like home

Kimberly’s Hope was a delightful stay. We initially chose it for the location and familiarity of farm life. When we arrived the greeting was delightful. The animals are obviously so loved and share love as well. The space was very private and absolutely perfect for my children and I. Everything we needed and more. The children begged to never stay. The animals will forever hold a place in their hearts. Would recommend to any lover of animals. The sunrise across the pond was beautiful, especially as the farm came to life. Thank you so very much.

Fun family time away

Our kids loved the pool and playing with the dogs and cats on the property. We brought board games to play in the evening. Recommend an afternoon at Rock Bridge State Park Memorial State Park, but prepared to get wet feet if you want the full experience. After the park stop by Andy’s Custard. If you are looking for a low key vacation spot away from home, I highly recommend staying at Kimberly’s Hope.

Incredible

We were in town for a baseball tournament in Columbia. This was just close enough and just far enough away. Absolutely perfect for what we were doing. Extremely nice. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Peaceful and Tranquil

It ended up being better than expected, property was so peaceful. It was great having the exposure to the farm animals and no farm animal smell. You not even know you were on a farm. The lake was also amazing fishing was so much fun, to be able to access the lake at anytime was amazing. Kimberly and her family was great hosts they were every informative and even though they are located on the property you still have your privacy. Great location also 30mins to about everything.

Great vacation apt

Me and my family stayed last week in this beautiful place, I loved every detail in the apt I loved the combination of farm and modern indoor fashion. My kids love animals and especially collect eggs in the morning with Kimmy we enjoyed watching the horses every day at sunset at the edge of the lake, they have the nicest dogs you will ever seen ! And the most beautiful kittens My kids were very excited and happy (they had been at Disney world before and they were not as much happy as they were at Kimmy farm and her nice husband We will go back for sure
