About Bob & Sandy Nutt
BWA LLC is the owner of Botanical World Adventures and the World Botanical Gardens. The partners became involved in the gardens over 15 years ago due to the beauty and size of the collection of plants. Coming from families of farmers, ornamental horticulturists, real estate, construction and Future Farmers of America, the owners have a true spirit of the land - "the Aina". They have worked on farms, in greenhouses, tractor shops and many other ag and land related businesses. In October 2013 the partners acquired the gardens and all the assets. "We have been investing in this project since we had contact with it and look at the Garden Home as another adventure in the gardens."
Bob & Sandy Nutt purchased this House in 2015
Why Bob & Sandy Nutt chose Ninole
The opportunity of sharing the gardens this intimately after our Garden Director left this home was inspiring to the partners. This place has magical properties and we enjoy sharing it in this amazing "in the gardens" experience. A wander through the fruit, flowers and spices is a journey through the amazing Hawaiian history.

This home is just paradise! We stayed here for 2 weeks and were completely satisfied. We are frequent travelers and this was one of the best and most comfortable places we’ve stayed. The home is beautiful and absolutely spotless and has everything we needed. It’s obvious someone lovingly cares for this home and has thought out all the details, from the well placed nightlights to available shopping bags, ice packs for days of travelling around to absolutely anything you could ever need in the kitchen.
The grounds are immaculate with gorgeous trees and flowers. When I needed lemon for my tea, I just went out into the garden and picked one from the tree, how amazing is that! The house is completely private, just views of the gardens in every direction. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the lanai while listening to birds and enjoying the blooming flowers.
There were also many interesting books on the history, flora and fauna of the island, along with information on things to do in the area including maps.
Sandy was an exceptional host. While we did not meet her, she was super quick to respond to any questions and was always extremely helpful, a real pleasure to deal with.
We truly enjoyed our stay, if only travel was always so easy! Thank you for the beautiful memories.

Awesome Vacation House
We had a great stay in our vacation house in Botanical World Garden Home. Everything in the house is PERFECT. We enjoyed the covered porch where we always had our meals while listening to the birds and frogs. We also love love love the Garden, the view....so relaxing! There were different kind of flowers and fruits ( some plants I am not familiar...but amazing to know that the nature has lot to offer, Praise God for His amazing creations!)...We also enjoyed walking around the Botanical Garden. We're glad we found this place to stay. Looking forward to come back soon!
We love how you referred to the house as 'our vacation house', that truly says a lot about how much you felt at home and enjoyed your stay. The gardens are truly a wonderful piece of God's creativity and beauty. It's also a wonderful place to enjoy and learn about the plants, especially if you took the Segway tour. We would be honored to have you as our guests again in the future. Aloha and Mahalo
The house was beautifully upgraded and amazingly well stocked. It was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely return!!
It was a pleasure to have such great athletes like yourselves as our guests. It's always nice to know that we provided a comfortable restful home to come back to at the end of the day to relax in. We will welcome you back anytime. Aloha and Mahalo.
Beautiful, clean, pleasant, well-sited
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. It was very easy to get to, close off the highway, but not so close that there was traffic noise. My husband was impressed with all the mod-cons including effective air conditioning, good internet service, modern washer and dryer, two-drawer dishwasher, enormous fridge, etc. I was thrilled that it was so clean- we kept commenting to each other about the fact that we hadn't seen a single bug inside (unheard of in the tropics)! The beds were comfortable too, even the futon. My daughter and I enjoyed the easy walk to the zipline, gardens, and maze. I loved just sitting on the lanai with my tea in the morning, looking over the orchard at the ocean. It was fun to stroll in the private grounds and admire all the ornamental and fruiting plants, too. Bob and Sandy were very helpful with a few small needs that we had, as well. I have family in the area so we visit fairly frequently, and this home was much nicer than several others we have tried in the vicinity. Overall, exceeded our expectations.
Staying at The Garden Home located at The Botanical World Gardens does have it's perks. We're glad you enjoyed the gardens and Hibiscus Maze, it's seems kids of all ages, including us have so much fun trying to find our way out and see who will be first. You and your daughter must have had a great time on the zip-line tour, it's not only fun but learning about the plants and area plus sampling any fruit along the way is an added bonus. It's nice to offer a big discount for the tours to our guests staying at the home. You're right about the bugs in the tropics, but they are not welcome in our house so they can pack their bags and relocate. Please feel welcome to come back the next time you come and visit family. Aloha and Mahalo
I can't believe I forgot to leave a review! We had a wonderful stay at this home and much enjoyed the fruit in the yard. It was a quiet area and beautiful surround. The kitchen was well-equipped, A/C did take some time to cool the house down.
That's so sweet that you decided to still write a review even though it's been awhile since you were here. That means you are still holding onto and enjoying your memories of your time in Hawaii which is great. You will have to come back to get some more fruit and enjoy more of the gardens. Thank you again for taking the time to write the review. Aloha and Mahalo
Just what we needed!!
This was an amazing vacation! The house was perfectly located for all our needs, just beautiful, we loved it!!
Thank you Sandy and Bob for leaving it fully equipped and for providing us with all of those wonderful tips.
Coming to Hawaii requires a lot of planning so we're glad that the list of attractions was helpful to you. We certainly don't want you to miss some of the main things to see and do plus all this wonderful beauty to explore. It's so nice to hear that you had an amazing vacation, now it's time to enjoy all your memories and photos. Aloha and Mahalo
You are actually staying in a portion of the World Botanical Gardens at Botanical World Adventures. The fruit and spices can be picked in the yard and there are over 290 unique species of plants on this portion of the gardens alone. You are also allowed free access to the other gardens which are spread over hundreds of acres. You could stay a month and still not take in all there is to see and do. Don't miss the Hakalau Farmers Market and Food Share right across the street on Tuesdays from 3 to 6. Fresh food and fun trinkets. Also get adjusted by Dr. Shauna Lover at the market or at the garden home later.
