This is our second time staying here and we plan to use it for our annual retreat for years to come! The number of beds is great, spacious kitchen, and beautiful views. Proximity to the lodge is perfect since we have lots of driving back and forth. During the winter months, it can be difficult for some cars to navigate the steeper parts of the road to the cabin, so make sure you have adequate tires/chains to drive in the snow/ice.

The property is beautiful no questions ask
But it sounds that in this property you can’t use paper towels or toilet paper because you get an extra charge
Also they are charging me for something we never took so in overall I would not recomen this property
We stayed here for a family reunion and found the home in excellent condition - all was in perfect order. The home is beautiful. The location was very enjoyable. The weather was delightful. We all have a wonderful time!
The description of this cabin is spot on and then some. I loved the kitchen it is equipped with everything an established home would have. The beds and sectional sofa are comfortable. There was plenty space for my family of 11. Diane addressed my concerns regarding parking and temperature of the cabin upon our arrival. She assured me that the cabin would be at a comfortable temperature when we arrived in the late evening and it was. She advised that there is enough space to park four vehicles, 2 in the garage and two in the drive way. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the garage has high clearance and the garage had enough room to walk around the parked vehicles in the garage! The mountain got tons of fresh snow the weekend we were there! We played in the snow right outside the cabin. We have 4 wheel drive vehicles and took the roads with care and ease. We plan to return soon!
This house was fantastic for our ski trip! Proximity to the ski resort was great (although chains may be needed if it’s snowing a lot). And the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. Highly recommend!
We loved staying in this cabin for a family ski trip. Plenty of beds for everyone and the beds were much better quality than some rentals I’ve stayed at (we had 11 people with room to spare). The kitchen is large and stocked with all the cooking supplies you need to make your meals. Location was incredible for skiing, and easy to run home mid day. One thing to be aware of, is if you have more than 3 vehicles, there isn’t room to park at the cabin or on the street… just something to plan for if you book this property. Thanks for letting us stay in your great cabin. It was perfect.
We had a great time the check in was easy and found all the necessary items to make our stay enjoyable. Leisa was easy to contact if we had any questions. Great family experience.
This home was perfect for our group. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and a places to chill out. The location was great and the fact that we could actually park our cars inside was amazing. Would stay here again.
Great place for large groups heading to the slopes
The photos did not do justice for this home. It is large with plenty of room for the 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 kids. Different varieties of kitchen appliances were available to make your meals. As for bath towels and linens, you will not be disappointed. Location was convenient if you want to go to the Navajo part of the slopes and if you wanted to do an afternoon of snowmobiling, it’s also 3 minutes from the home. We will definitely renting this home again when we come back to Brian’s Head.
This is a great cabin, beautifully furnished and well stocked. Our group of 18 fit comfortably in it. A minor fault was that the A/C didn't work but for most of the time it wasn't needed, even in early July. We would be happy to stay there again.
This Bear Cabin is our favorite so far in Brian Head and we have been coming for 15+ years! The house is beautiful and big enough for 4 families! We will be coming back! Thank you so much for making our annual ski trip more memorable!!
This is a lovely cabin home. It was very comfortable! We loved being a couple minutes away from ski resort. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was that there were some important things not in working order...direct tv was not working and the microwave was not working. The internet was also very slow. For me, one way to improve the functionality of the cabin would be to have a game/coffee table in the upstairs great/family room.
This is our second time staying at Black Bear Cabin and once again we had a wonderful time. Beautiful cabin with plenty of room for our family and friends to gather.
This cabin was great for our family. We wish we could have stayed loner!

Why they chose this property
We love Brian Head and have owned here since 1987. In 2015 we found our dream cabin nestled in the woods. It is not unusual to have deer cross through our yard and see a variety of other wildlife in the area. It is a secluded cabin in the trees built in 2006 and was built as a custom cabin. In other words it has all the custom qualities of a wonderful home and cabin. We want to share it with you and we hope you have a wonderful time visiting Brian Head, Utah.
