This La Jolla home is located only about 11 miles north of lovely San Diego, making it perfect for seeing all of the beauty of the area with some added small town charm.
Inside, you’ll be able to make yourself comfortable in the spacious living room, watching something on the cable-equipped flatscreen TV (with a DVD player too!) or connecting to the free Internet.
Bring some groceries, because this kitchen is great for cooking any kind of meal! All of the necessary appliances are available – even a gas grill right outside! At mealtime, plenty of seating is available both inside and outside, and the margarita maker adds a sweet touch on a sunny day.
Sleep in your favorite of this rental’s four spacious bedrooms, which accommodate up to eight guests. Whether you pick the master with a king-size bed, ocean views, and its own bathroom, another bedroom with a king-size bed, a third with a queen-size bed, or the final bedroom with two twin beds, your whole group will be comfortable in this large home.
Two full bathrooms (including the master en suite) are plenty. If you’re taking a little one along, there’s even a Pack-N-Play and high chair. Though this home has plenty of fantastic features, its shining glory is definitely the porch! Right outside the living room, you’ll find an elegant outdoor dining table with wonderful ocean views – perfect for taking snapshots of the sunset over the Pacific!
You’ll also be an easy walk from Calumet Park or a short drive to Tourmaline Beach if you want to explore the coast. Beach toys, boogie boards, an umbrella, and beach towels are all provided for your use!

About Vacasa, CA - San Diego County Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Wonderful family home with great view
Wonderful authentic atmosphere. The patio with ocean view, table and BBQ is great from breakfast to evening.
Very nice bedrooms and lost of space for everybody (we were 2 families of 4). Great kitchen with a lot of equipment, perfect for cooking the fresh local fish bought at El Pescador in downtown La Jolla.
A quaint place. Would definitely return.
Location and view are spectacular, but the house needs substantial updating to come up to the standards we have experienced with other VRBO and short term rental properties. Kitchen and bathroom are right out the 60's. We eventually could get everything to work, but it was a struggle. Virtually no lighting in the living room. Property manager was responsive and helpful, but couldn't get the outside grill to work. No instructions for the TV and it took the manager to get it set up.
Very nice vacation accomodations
Beautiful view of ocean, short drive to swimming beaches. Boogie boards , beach towels and beach chairs and sand toys were nice additions.
Spacious rooms, older but nice kitchen.
Only downside was TV which we could play our DVDs on, but not receive a live TV feed.
There should be TV instructions, but then we did not have much need to watch since so
much else to do - swimming, seeing the seals and sea lions, touring the Midway in San Diego.
8 of us stayed here 2 nights and had an amazing time! The house is a bit dated, but had everything we needed so we did not mind at all. The view from the back porch is magnificent. Waking up to the sounds of the waves and the fresh air was one of my favorite parts of the weekend. In the mornings I'd sit on the porch with my coffee and was able to see paddle boarders and surfers nearby! Definitely recommend staying at this home.
Quiet, roomy house with wonderful ocean views
A nice quiet, roomy house (4 bedrooms), in a great location overlooking the Pacific ocean.
The pictures do not do it justice. This house is located on a fantastic street with the most incredible deck overlooking the ocean. It is only 2 houses down from a small park and a few blocks from access to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!
