Recently renovated 1,000 sq. ft. condo with king bed and spacious living room that includes a super comfy queen sleeper sofa featuring a unique pillow top mattress. Exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows invite plenty of natural sunlight into the living room. You will be delighted with the gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with modern stainless appliances. The kitchen opens directly into the living area; enjoy your meals at the kitchen bar or at the dining table (seats 4). The bedroom offers an extra-large closet with organizers and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The connected bath features a walk-in shower (dual shower head) and granite double sinks. Immaculately furnished with heirloom furniture and eclectic accents.

Loft #306 is located on the third floor; the S & W Building (56 Patton Ave) provides a secure, keyless, coded exterior entrance and elevator to make your move-in safe and easy. As you enter the S&W building, you see the beautiful S&W Artisanal Eatery, a Greek themed restaurant featuring wonderful desserts, coffee, breakfast, lunch as well as a full dinner menu, bar, and mezzanine seating in the upper level. There is also a cocktail bar adjacent to the Artisanal Eatery called "The Times of S&W." In the lower level of the building you will find Ellington Underground, a progressive live music club.

You can go for days without using your car which can be safely and affordably parked in the city-operated Rankin Garage less than a block from the building's entrance and the 40 Coxe Avenue Garage behind the back of the building. Pritchard Park is directly across the street and Pack Square Park is just two blocks away.

About Karen E. Moore & Robert S. Moore

We first visited Asheville in 2007 to attend a film festival and immediately knew the city was the place for us. We relocated to Asheville in 2013 from our hometown in upstate NY (Elmira) after our two children left for college. Although we are not natives, the friendly and welcoming community has made us feel as though we've lived here for many years. "We may not have been born in the mountains of western NC, but we got here as soon as we could, y'all!"

Within walking distance of the S&W Building there are too many fabulous restaurants to list. A great reference online would be the Asheville Independent Restaurant Association. Also consider our brew pubs; several are within a short walk, some of which have great food in addition to the beer. Another reliable treat is Asheville's Fine Arts Theater just a 3 blocks away. Something great is always showing and Tuesday night features $5 admission for all seats. If you enjoy art, consider a visit to Blue Spiral or the Haen Gallery, both a short walk. Pritchard Park is directly across the street from the S&W Bldg and Pack Square Park is two blocks away. Understand that when you walk in downtown Asheville, you will be entertained continuously.

Amazing historic loft property in the heart of downtown!

Wife and I got out of town for a weekend without the kids. Could not have asked for a better place to stay! Loved the history of the building and how close we were to everything. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and breweries. The owners were great and ensured we enjoyed our stay, including texting some additional restaurant recommendations! Would stay here again in a heartbeat...

Exceeded our expectations!

First, the location is perfect. It is in the middle of downtown and there are restaurants, shops and brew pubs galore. The condo is beautifully decorated as the photos show. It is spotless. The artwork is beautiful!! The bed is very comfortable and the linens are high quality. The hosts left local ground coffee and other accoutrements. The kitchen has most everything you could want. It is a second floor condo and the elevator is right outside your door.

Parking is not provided yet we parked on the street easily- this would not be a deterrent from renting again as we hope to do.

Karen quickly responded to our emails and helped steer us to restaurants and must-see places which was very much appreciated.

The Biltmore was incredible and we did the audio tour for an additional 11$. Make sure you go to the arboretum and gardens too.

The tour at New Belgium Brewery was fabulous and very fun. Try and take the tour with Michael.

Lovely.apartment, centrally located

This is a beautiful place to stay. The apartment is so tastefully decorated and filled with art. It is located in the middle of the downtown area, so you go out the front door and have many shops and restaurants around you.
