About Vacasa of Seattle

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Reminder that this property is directly downtown; honking cars and constant traffic. For walking to the waterfront and Pike's Market the location is perfect. There are a few corner markets a couple of blocks away (uphill).
If you plan to do any cooking you will need to bring your own spices as only salt and pepper were provided. If you plan to have leftovers (food), you will need to purchase foil or baggies; there aren't any provided.
There is a portable air conditioner which was greatly appreciated!

Nice location

 • 4 of 5

Just watch the edge of the bed frame. Space is tight and frame sticks out past bed, hit my knee on it twice.

Good location, cleanliness hit and miss.

 • 3 of 5

We like staying in this building for close proximity to family who live very nearby. It's also close to many restaurants, shopping, and sights. However, the cleanliness of the place is questionable. Counter tops, dishes and sheets/towels appeared to be clean, as did the bathroom toilet and sink. However, the floors were filthy and in need of a very thorough mopping. We spilled a bit of water when we first arrived and when we wiped it up, the paper towel came away filthy. This is the second time we have stayed and the second time to have that same issue. We hoped the first time was a fluke, but apparently not. Also, the extra comforter they keep in the closet for the pullout couch was dirty and stained. We had to wash it before using it. There's is a good little cleaning fee attached to the rental, so this should not be happening. Overall, it was a good place to stay but the cleanliness thing gets to me. I would definitely bring slippers and don't walk barefoot on the floor! Also, be aware the bedroom does not have a door. Not missing a door, but never framed out for a door. This wasn't a problem for us, but could be for others.

Seattle Rain and Fun!!!

 • 4 of 5

Of course Pikes Place is always a great visitor location. We also went to the slightly unknown and better reserved-star-bucks when they experiment with new coffee beans and taste tests... great place to check out something different in Seattle.

All the apartment furniture was good, IKEA brand quality. Not bad, just not above average either. Regarding the street noise... The fan blocked out most of the street noise. I would recommend that for any stay.

The check in issue was resolved quickly after it was discovered the direction to the lock box were not correct; we saw another family that also had the same issue... The directions indicated to head to spot 21 inside the garage but the lock box desired is right inside the garage door to the right... however, the attendant was very patient and helped us get the key to the apartment. Also, the check in is 4pm, a little late to be getting into a place for the day/night. The preference would be up to a couple hours earlier. Hope they can fix that in the future?!

Place was clean... no issues at all - good job!!!

Recommend curtains for the bed room and possible other rooms; though it was raining while we were in town, it would have been a lot of light in the morning.

Otherwise, our whole reason for being there was to be in Bellevue for most of the weekend; great small area to visit and would highly recommend a day trip to their main street. Have Fun!!!

Glad I did it once, won't probably do it again.

Use the parking garage (secure and covered) across the street at the Art Institute. $22 bucks for 24 hours. Bring ear plugs. Walk along waterfront and not streets - you will see and pass lots of homeless tents and their garbage. We wanted to fully emerge ourselves in the city life - walking, living in an apartment, being in the "heart of it", and so we did. Now we know we never want to live "in the heart" of it, lol. The rental was GREAT, the location is GREAT (walked to pikes and space needle and shopping), the price is GREAT but the things the rental can't control like street noise, homeless, and parking are not great.
