Location couldn't be beat. Grandkids didn't stay but visited and loved the backyard and firepit. Very clean and host was responsive. We could have used better television instructions

Great stay at Flamingo House

We LOVE staying at Flamingo House. We are a repeat customer and will be back again soon. Suzie and is wonderful to work with and the house is everything we need!

Great time in Winter Garden

We wanted something special on a short trip to Winter Garden. We were combining the trip with a visit to our new grand-daughter and spending time in a lovely area of the city.

We had some difficulties getting in, however, the host took care of it. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the location. I would have liked to have had some coffee in the morning, however all that was available was decaf. My wife enjoyed the bath towels. Iwould have like

Cute Winter Garden cottage!

Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped. Nice front porch to sit on. Walking distance to shops & restaurants in downtown Winter Garden. Would definitely recommend.

Great little house

Just love this little house. Perfect location for the Saturday farmers market. Wonderful backyard with the café lights. Really nice. And the owner was super sweet. Very easy to deal with.

Space utilized well and great location

Historic charm a block from downtown Winter Garden. Close drive to everything you'll need in the area and main highway access as well. Inside was clean and decorated nicely. Everything you might need is available. Would book again.

Winter Garden

We stayed in the Flamingo Cottage for two nights at the end of April 2023. When we arrived, we found the cottage to be clean, tidy and welcoming. Prior to arriving, and during our stay, communication was good with Suzy, the host. The property is small, but fine for a couple of nights - we were just 2, but there are beds for 4 - it's only a small double in the main bedroom and 2 singles in the other. Everything is there that you might need during a stay. We didn't use the rear garden, where there is outdoor seating, but the view is of a multi-storey car park - looks quite recent. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the World go by. It is ideally situated to walk to Planet Street where there are bars, restaurants and shops. Also close to Mount Dora. Both towns worth visiting. We drove the Green Mountain scenic highway, which is well worth doing. It's also about 30/40 minutes drive to Orlando. We wouldn't hesitate to recommending the Flamingo Cottage and would return should we be visiting Winter Garden again in the future.

Fantastic House!

We loved staying at the Flamingo house this past week. Everything was perfect. The house is clean, comfortable and decorated perfectly! The location is as good as it looks online- 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants on Plant Street. Suzie was super responsive and helpful.

Super cute, clean place

We loved our stay at the Flamingo house. The flamingo touches were subtle and not overpowering, but had a cute feel to it. The rooms were very clean. The amenities were a nice touch and you could tell they put a lot of pride into their house! It was very nice to walk downtown for everything. We enjoyed breakfasts, dinners, just a stroll down the trail with a quick walk home. Everything we absolutely perfect!

Great to be so close to downtown Winter Garden

This cozy cottage is great for walking downtown, to Lake Apopka, or for easy access to the W. Orange Trail. It is small and best suited for 2 people, but could work for 4. Shelf space is somewhat limited, especially in the single bathroom, Lots of coffee brewing methods available, but surprisingly no drip coffee maker. The cottage is tastefully decorated and reminded me of old time Florida, surrounded by oaks with lots of Spanish moss. We had a great time there and enjoyed the fabulous Farmers' Market and the enthusiastic Halloween celebrations on Plant St.

Comfortable, Colorful, Convenient and Enjoyable!

This house had everything you could want in a vacation rental. From check-in to check-out the experience was perfect. Located a couple of blocks from historic downtown Winter Garden, the “Flamingo House” was a convenient spot. In walking distance was plenty restaurants, bars, and local shops to entertain anyone in the family. In a short driving distance you are also stops away from downtown Orlando (Disney, Universal, etc..) as well. The house was colorful, comfortable, and enjoyable. Equipped with all your kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom needs, the house also came with a keurig coffee maker, smart tv, and board games. Having a washer and dryer was a blessing as well. Don’t hesitate to rent this property and see what the flamingo house, and winter garden, is all about!!

Fantastic little cottage in the heart of DT WG

It is small, but well stocked and clean. Best part is the location, literally 1 block from DT Winter Garden. We really enjoyed out time here. Thank you for the hospitality! The description on beds was a little off- we we’re pleasantly surprised to find that one bedroom has the queen bed, the other bedroom has 2 twin beds, and there is also a pull out sofa that turns into a full (I think).

My second stay at The Flamingo and I will be back! It truly is the cutest cottage in a great location. It checks all the boxes: clean, wonderfully decorated, soft linens, perfect location within walking distance to shops and restaurants, all the amenities. Quick family trip

Visited family in the area. Great place and location walking distance to a beautiful small town. Equipped with everything needed, first time staying in a vrbo we did not have to purchase any essentials (TP, paper towels, tissues, hand soap, dish soap). Possibly left from previous visitor but was a nice treat. As my daughter said "The Flamingo house became our home for a few days" You felt at home the minute you walked in. Would highly recommend. Hope to return soon.

Great location!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo house. We loved the location. So easy to walk everywhere downtown. The house was very clean and decorated cute. Our grandchildren spent one night with us and the two twin beds worked great for them. The bathroom is very small but we made it work. We’ve stayed in several airbnbs in Wintergarden and so far this has been our favorite.

Perfect Location

My husband and I decided to stay in Winter Garden to bike on the Orange Trail. Our stay at the Flamingo House was wonderful. Cute, cozy, and clean, with lots of B&B touches. Great location with easy walking to Plant street, with its restaurants and shops, and access to the Orange trail. Bed was comfy and plenty of hot water in the shower. Nice front porch and back yard for afternoon cocktails. We will definitely stay here again.
