Great place to stay!

The home is very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The pool table is a nice touch and we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the back patio. Alex & Karen are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again!

Beautiful Home and Great Location

We had a wonderful stay! Very relaxing and warm, inviting decor. Pool table was a lot of fun! The home was very clean, and Alex is a personable, helpful host who had great recommendations for restaurants, etc. Hope to stay again on our next trip to Prescott.

Prescott getaway

We had a great time - the home was perfect - very clean, comfortable and updated. Also dog friendly - completely fenced back yard and dog door - loved being able to have our dogs with us. Our boys loved the pool table and horseshoes. Would definitely stay again!

As someone who has trouble sleeping on vacation beds I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these mattresses. Check-in process was in-person but Alex was accommodating of arrival time and it was relatively painless. Place is clean and well stocked as advertised.

Relaxing Getaway

Super clean and well equipped, perfect for two couples, but could accommodate a child or two as well... Evaporative cooling is a little bit of a problem in hot summer months, but owners are planning to install central A/C, so all in all a great place to escape to for a long weekend!

Dear Robyn, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the Inn at Copper Basin. The day you checked out I had an HVAC technician inspect the cooling system. The water supply line to the unit had been turned off , that's the reason the unit wasn't working properly. I'm not sure why the water was turned off( maybe for the freezing during the winter months) the system is up and running. Karen and are the new owners of the property as of April 2019, we are learning the nuances of the house. Our apologies for any inconveniences, please visit us again, Alex&Karen

Comfortable, Classy, Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Inn at Copper Basin. We were outside on the deck every morning and many evenings. The Hummingbird feeder right above the sitting area was an added bonus. Roomy home, very relaxing. Thanks for the hospitality.

Couples Birthday Weekend

Nice peaceful neighborhood. Picturesque. House felt very private. Very quick drive into Prescott for touristing, dining...whatever. Alex was very communicative as far as the check-in/out procedure. House has everything you need and we got a lot of use out of the pool table. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely home

We have family in the Prescott area that we were visiting, had a wonderful New Years in this home. Outdoors was chilly and we saw snow. Enjoyed playing pool and had all the comforts of home. Beautiful home (indoors and outdoors), property, neighborhood, and centrally located. Property owners Alex and Karen were a pleasure to work with. Amazingly appointed!

This house had everything under the sun, we made meals and had all the proper cookware and utensils. Large screens in almost every room. Pool table, horseshoes, tons of board games. Highly recommend.

This was our 2nd stay at Copper Basin Inn, and I can honestly say that this rental has always been our BEST VRBO find! You know that saying .... "location, location, location "....well this is it! You are close to great restaurants, entertainment and of course, the infamous Whiskey Row & the always active Prescott Courthouse! We have already booked another visit! HUGE THANKS for our PERFECT Prescott vacay!

Private - But Still Close to Town!

Great property - Alex was very attentive with making sure our stay was comfortable. He met us at the property to walk through the house and let us know we could contact him if we needed him. The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac with trees and mountain views. You feel like you are nestled back in the beautiful forest, but just a few miles away is the town square with shopping, dining, and bars. The best part of the house for us was the pool table. We just wanted a weekend getaway out of the valley heat to hang out and enjoy the weather! It was a wonderful time!

Everything you need and a gorgeous setting to boot

This is the 2nd house we have rented from this owner (Colleen). The layout is nice, and the decor is well thought out without being too much. (Not too "Cute-sy") It is close enough to downtown without feeling like any drunken revelers will be traipsing around. :0) Close to a grocery store which was handy, also. We *did* see a hedgehog on our last day, That was interesting. Overall, we really enjoyed visiting this house and highly recommend it! The view from the deck at sunrise is breathtaking. :0)

Small getaway

Alex and Karen were very friendly and helpful. The house is beautiful and clean. It has everything you need to spend a few nice days. The beds are comfortable and help you sleep well. Enough pillows for the beds. The bathrooms are nice with towels and toiletries. The pool table and the hammock are fun. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace for tea in the evenings listening to the birds. The living room is welcoming and comfortable. We really loved our days there. The neighborhood is quiet and we were closed to many stores, restaurants, and hiking areas. Definitely a great place to spend some time away from home. Thank you!

The Best VRBO Yet!

I'm so glad I was able to stay here in July! The house was beautiful and packed with so many amenities! You would never know it was a rental - the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with and then some. The dishes, silverware and pots/pans were all high quality too. Several brand new TV's were located in all the right places. Loved having the pool table to use when some friends stopped by to hang out. We're no good at playing but it didn't seem to matter as it was a lot of fun. Also a fun horseshoe pit outside that's even lit so you can play in the evening when the nights are cool. Great deck - quiet and peaceful too. I can't wait to go back! Thanks to the owners for their quick responses to when we had a few questions.

Perfect!!

My husband and I, along with our two Giant Schnauzers, have visited Prescott on two other occasions since June. This is by FAR our favorite VRBO home. We've stayed within blocks of downtown, walking distance (little over a mile) and this house. This house is perfect, location, design and layout, outdoor areas, amenities and of course the owner, Colleen. She is wonderful. I had something of an emergency situation come up and we had to rearrange our stay, change dates, etc., and she was extremely accommodating to us in helping us shift things. I felt lucky to be able to stay when we did, otherwise we would not have been able to make our five day getaway happen until well into next year. Thank you Colleen for enabling me, at least, for a much needed reboot in your lovely home.

This VRBO has it ALL...and then some!

Our VRBO stay at the Copper Basin Inn was truly one of the BEST that we have stayed at. The owners have this home well decorated and supplied, truly, all you need is toothpaste, toothbrush & some clothes! And ladies?! They even have a flat iron (along with blow dryer)! We ate all of our meals out on the expansive deck! Location was perfect, just a short drive to downtown Prescott, great restaurants, as well as short drives to beautiful hikes within the area! Did I mention that this rental also has the perfect deck to enjoy a glass...or bottle of wine?! There are games for your to play (including horse shoes)...and even a pool table! We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and looking forward to a return visit! I sincerely wish that EVERY VRBO owner was like Colleen & Lindsay! :)

Best VRBO we've ever stayed in

This is hands down the best VRBO we've ever stayed in. First, the location is excellent, no more than 10 minutes from shopping, hiking and biking and five minutes from downtown Prescott. The owners have done a fabulous job remodeling the place. The layout of the home is light, bright and airy, with tons of windows looking out into the pines. Even though this home is in a neighborhood, it is very secluded, private and quiet. Everything you need is inside. The owners go above and beyond in providing amenities. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with a new king bed, remodeled baths and lots of homey touches. Most importantly the owner, Colleen is very accessible and responsive. I almost didn't write this review because I want to keep the place to myself. And our pets loved it, the dog especially loved the large wrap around deck in the pines.

A beautiful home away from home in the Hills of lovely Prescott

The place had a very nice feel to it. I would even say a sort of magical energy. The moment we got out of our vehicle and walked towards the front door, we looked at each other and smiled. "This is very cool" we said, "our home for the next three days, Yahoo!" I tend to be overly neat and cleanliness is vital to me. Floors were so clean we could've served dinner off of them! Bedrooms tastefully decorated and beds very inviting. Living area chic, and comfortable. We loved the large deck. Ate dinner out there every night. It was serene and soothing. Fully stocked with amenities. Nice glasses, utensils, cookware, dishes, even tin foil and plastic wrap. We didn't need a thing, except our own food of course. I would and will stay at this location the next time we are in Prescott! Highly recommend it to anyone that wants a genuine home type atmosphere. Superlative! Simply Superlative!

We loved everything about this home, The Inn at Copper Basin. Our party had five adults and there was space for all of us to have privacy, while also encouraging activities together. The huge wrap around deck was the scene of many a meal, coffee in the morning, reading a book or magazine, and the family dinner where ten of us hung together and had very interesting conversations. No matter what your top request is when it comes to having a vacation property, this home has it: the bedrooms are roomy and the beds comfy; the bathrooms are fully stocked even including specially made soaps and a brand new hair dryer; and the kitchen - well, let's just say that it has everything you can think of, in multiple colors and styles, not just the dime store kind of dishes either. You'll be proud to put these on the table for your family and friends. There is the famous single serve coffee maker, every pot or pan or skillet you may need to make your special family tradition meal, and if you want to have the Christmas Dinner for your family at your place, this is the place to do it. There is so much SPACE! And it is elegant, and comfortable. Let's not leave the games and electronics out of the picture. There are flat screen TV's in every room except the kitchen (but you can see the one over the pool table from the kitchen), and I was very happy that the younger members of the group could operate all the features, including the music, movies and games. The closet in one guest room has board games and other diversions for those rainy days that you want to stay home. The Inn is close to shopping, Whiskey Row historical area, to the Courthouse Square for a picnic or concert, or any of three local lakes - my personal favorite is the Goldwater Lake picnic and hiking area. You'll want to take in the Smoki Museum, and browse any of the antique shops in the area, have lunch at one of the excellent restaurants, but you'll want to be home for dinner. Its the best spot in town to relax, sipping on a glass of wine or other beverage while you watch the sunset from that beautiful huge deck. This was my first visit to Prescott, but it won't be the last. And the next time I go, I want to stay right here, at the Inn at Copper Basin, my home away from home. Don't miss it!

Loved the location. Had deer come up and took lots of pics. Clean and overall great. Definitely stay there again
