There was NOTHING updated in this condo. The pictures say it all. Make sure to wear shoes on the deck or pack tweezers. Hopefully, they will change out the rusty utensils and unusable pots and pans. The microwave worked fine but the toaster only works on one side. The linens were probably from the 70s and we had a few roaches visit too. If nothing else, they could have made sure the shower curtain wasn’t full of mildew. Overall, worst stay we’ve had anywhere. Go elsewhere for your vacation.

Under expectations

The property was ok, not great. I have stayed in other places that were a lot better for a lot less money. Also, there hvac has problems. This I know from the note on the refrifgerator. The dryer could use some attention. Overall ,I guess I was expecting a little more for the $$ involved. The furniture needs to be replaced in the living area. It is quite broken down. The place was ok, just ok.

Keep Looking… disappointed and not worth peak rate

This was our first post-COVID family vacation amd we were really excited! We paid peak rates but unfortunately were sorely disappointed. If all you are looking for is a view and 2 parking spots, choose this place. Otherwise, keep looking. You will be able to find a place with a similar view that is clean and updated. When we arrived, the place was unclean (not vacuumed including under the sofa bed-gross!, food caked on spoons, mold on shower curtain) and barely came with anything (1 trash bag, 1 roll toilet paper amd paper towel, very bottom of a bottle of dish soap, no tub drain, missing lightbulb). The deck base is in disrepair and I got a huge splinter in my toe. We noticed a locker at the bottom of the 3 flights of stairs but we didn’t have access to it (would have been nice not to haul all of our beach stuff up/down everyday). Mattress was very stiff and kitchen lacks plastic cups to use outdoors and covers for pots. Like I said, bare minimum provided. Rental company brought us a new shower curtain and drain (didn’t work) after I called but for the price, we could have found a much nicer place or have had more provided since we had to fly and could not pack. Rental company was east to work with but I’m surprised that they would rent this place in the shape it was in. We made the best of it and spent most of our time on the beach or in the grassy area our back of the complex. It was nice to have parking passes and pool access as well as being oceanfront.

Balcony was missing the furniture pictured, one toilet paper roll policy, comforter and counters were dirty, floor was poorly cleaned. Balcony is in need of a refinish. Great view!

Spring break at the beach

3rd floor condo right on the beautiful Carolina beach. Cute and small but we were able to make it work. Only down fall was the pool was closed, yet it looked to be open with all the pool furniture set up. You do not even get access to the pool Due to the HOA, I wish the picture of the pool was not included. My daughter was so excited to go swimming in the pool, and to see her devastated was an understatement. The sliding glass door was not well sealed, our last night there was really windy and it felt like a window was open with how much air was blowing through. The dryer vent fell out of the ceiling one morning, I notified the property manager and someone was out right away to fix it. The outdoor deck was perfect to look at the morning sunrise however the floor boards definitely need a sanding, we had to always wear shoes so we didn’t get a splinter, maybe needs an outdoor area rug. Had an old plastic table and 2 chairs . I found a bunch of cigarette butts shoved in between the wooden flood boards though which is odd since it stated it was no smoking. Little things hear and their in the inside that would have been taken care of before we arrived like the lamps sconce needed to be tightened, some cob webs in bathroom, a bit of a musty smell when we go there too. We would definitely stay there again for the sheer convenience of being right on the beach.

2 week stay in November 2022.

The booking process and Bryant were wonderful. The place was old and small. Knew this going in. Also knew three flights of stairs so others should note this too before booking. We were fine but some might not be. Easy, close parking which isn't the norm in the area without paying extra. Wonderful view of ocean from balcony and great beach access. Quiet area. The condo was okay. It was mostly clean but dated. Things that were a concern: All blankets and bedspreads smelled like a very bad locker room. Washed immediately (helped a bit). They need to be cleaned after each rental and possibly replaced. By the smell don't think they had been washed in a LONG TIME. No blankets other than twin bed size (and there is a queen bed). Mold visible in some areas in ceiling and by venting. There is damage to the roof just above the balcony area. This is causing water to come in during rain. There is a crack and a spot in the living room that got bigger while we were there. Two chairs and table on balcony. The table is plastic and the legs won't stay attached. Be nice to have something more sturdy. Not the pictured table and chairs in the VRBO site listing. Toaster was broken on arrival. Coils broken.

Enjoyed my stay

The view was great. Enjoyed the sunrises. 3rd floor is tough but once you get your luggage up the stairs the week will be a breeze.

Good and Not So Good

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good: location couldn't be better, right on the beach. The onsite pool is spacious, clean and plenty of seating. View of the ocean from the condo is perfect, and looks right over the pool too. Price was reasonable for such a great location. Within walking distance of a few restaurants and 5 minutes from lots of others. Realty company was very good about communicating after the reservation was made. Ice maker in the freezer produces tons of ice.The bad: The unit looks very worn and dated. Appliances all worked but they are old and could use an upgrade. The dishwasher was LOUD! Balcony deck had peeling paint, nail/screw holes in the walls deck furniture was cheap. Limited seating in the living room and the recliner was broken and nearly unusable. The only clock was broken too. Tight kitchen area, mismatched utensils/dishware.The worst: Parking! The lot is cramped so parking is at a premium. But the kicker is that you are given a piece of paper as your parking pass. You have to remember to put it on your dashboard every time you park. If you forget (which is easy to do) YOU WILL BE TOWED!!! The towing company that the complex uses is very aggressive about grabbing any cars they can, and it's $250 to get your car back. Total scam but they have you over a barrel. So be warned!Overall it was a good stay, but the negatives can ruin your trip if you aren't expecting them.

Great Location But Needs Updating

The proximity to the beach, view and sunrises are great! However this unit needs a little work. We did let the realty company know the dryer wasn’t working (had to run it 5 times for 1 load). The unit needs a good deep cleaning. Our socks were black after walking on the floors for a really short period of time. Someone else mentioned this in another review so I thought it wouldn’t be an issue. Be aware that the pictures show 4 chairs around the table on the balcony. We were looking forward to enjoying breakfast and dinners outside overlooking the ocean. However we couldn’t do that because there’s 3 Adirondack chairs now. Those are made to lay back in and it made it impossible to eat out there. Also there were 4 of us so there weren’t even enough chairs. The kitchen is well equipped. You’ll need to bring a wine opener if you’re planning to drink wine. The beds are ok except the bottom bunk (could feel the springs). We used the bunks, queen bed and fold out sofa. There weren’t any towel racks or hooks either. We ended up hanging our towels on hangers in the closet. The 3rd floor offered exceptional views but once we were up there we didn’t want to go back down. We know next time not to get something on the 3rd floor with just stairs. We’d rent from Bryant again, but not this particular unit.

Great location only 0.8 mile to boardwalk and even closer walking to tiki bar, Vinnie's pizza and the spot. They have charcoal grills on property if you decide to use. Bryant was very attentive to responding to issues. Decor in condo is outdated and needs to be updated. Carpet needs a deep cleaning or replaced. This is basic wear and tear from having a busy summer. We were on the tail end of that and visited in November. I would use Bryant again as they have many properties to choose from. Book ahead!!
