About this property

Tradewinds Room 2 of 2. Carolina Beach NC 28428

We have two separate rental rooms available. Each have their own private entrance from the outside of the residence as well as their own private full baths. Both rooms have a mini-frig, microwave, and coffeepot. Internet access is provided.

We are located within walking distance of the famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk where there are many restaurants, Bars, Charter Boats, and many other attractions. There is always lots of live entertainment and we will be happy to make suggestions based on your food and music taste.

We also own a charter fishing business called Southern Sportfishing. We have 1/2 day, 3/4 day, and Full day offshore trips available.

Other nearby attractions include Kure Beach, Fort Fisher Aquarium, Civil War Museum, and the Fort Fisher Ferry which travels to Southport and Bald Head Island numerous times daily.

If you are interested in Kayaking, Bike rentals, Surf lessons, Paddle Boarding, or Golf Cart rentals we can help you with your arrangements.

FYI : We have a dog on premises. He stays inside our home but is never allowed in the rental rooms.

Our week long stay

We have a wonderful week here. Very clean and a wonderful atmosphere. Andy and his wife were a pleasure to deal with and very easy to get ahold of and talk to if we had an issue. They were very attentive to be sure we had what we needed. We definitely recommend staying here and we will be staying here again. It was the most pleasant stay we have ever had and most enjoyable.

Exactly What We Needed!

My husband and I needed a small place to ourselves for just a short time, and this room met our expectations perfectly. I personally loved how clean it was and how easy it was to check into our room. We were also able to speak with the owner during our visit and found him to be very kind. We will 100% be staying here again when at Carolina Beach!

Why they chose this property

Family owned and operated Tradewinds Motel in Kure Beach for over 40 years. When I decided to build a house I wanted to be far enough away from the ocean that I didn't have to worry about storm surges from Hurricanes. Also the beach front is very noisy during the season which is why I built in this quiet neighborhood. I can walk or ride a bike anywhere I need to go.

What makes this property unique

For the island this is a very large piece of property where I am able to store all of my fishing gear and can bring boat home to work on it in the winter.
