The house and amenities were super clean and functional. Bed is firm and very comfortable. The deck had nice lounge chairs for hanging out. We found the kitchen very well equipped. Loved that the house was uncluttered and spacious feeling! The supermarket at the bottom of the hill and the fruit/veggie stand next to it provide everything you need for simple meals and beverages (liquor/beer also). We also had good food at The Chill Grill and at the Italian restaurant for pizza. Papú and Vanshika, the daily caretakers, were very friendly and helpful. Papu took my husband fishing down at the lagoon. The snorkeling off the jetty just across the street is a bit tricky, as the current from the nearby river makes it very swift with lots of plant matter. Negatives-some vehicle noise from the road below but the view makes up for it. The steep walk up from the street to the house would be difficult for some. It was our fitness challenge every day. I thought the pool was onsite, so was disappointed the pool options were a hotel pool behind the grocery store or a neighborhood pool across the highway that was not well cared for.
