Very close to a small beach which we enjoyed a lot. The cottage itself was fine although could use a bit more attention to detail and upgrading. Very quiet location!

A perfect Cape experience!

This property is adorable! Perfectly sized for our family of 5 (plus the dog) - we could have easily and comfortably fit 2-3 more people. The house is clean and neat, and everything was easy to find. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs available, and having laundry onsite was so convenient! The walk to Pleasant Street Beach was short and easy (a note: there are no dogs allowed on the beach between Apr 15 and Sept 15).

Great stay!

We had a wonderful week at the beach with our family and some friends. The cottage was as advertised, fully stocked, super clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything and there's a lovely beach only a short walk away. It's a gem of a spot!

Lovely Cottage

We had a wonderful time! The cottage was very clean. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the beautiful, quaint , New England architecture. The bonus was the short walk to Pleasant Street Beach!

Cape vacation 2023

It was perfect for 5 adults and a dog for 6 days. Quiet, cozy, comfortable, close to the beach, short drive to downtown areas of Harwich and Chatham and everything we needed was provided. Everything we wanted to do was a short walk or a short ride away. We were also fortunate to have had spectacular weather.

Great location and neighborhood 👍

Super welcoming, clean and comfortable but most importantly an easy walk to the local beach or convenient drive to many shops, restaurants, biking, hiking and national seashore.

Great cottage & location

Quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. Washer/ Dryer and 3 a/ c's a definite plus! Hoping to book again next summer.

Good location

Close to beaches and shopping and most anything you need in the Cape. For the price I would have liked to have sheets and towels provided and a better functioning kitchen. Stove was very slow to heat. No extras like paper towels or toilet paper or soap. Nice neighborhood.

Great Vacation Spot

Our family had a wonderful week at this lovely cottage near the beach. Property was well maintained and it was especially nice to have a washer/dryer for bathing suits! The beds were very comfortable and the A/C was certainly needed with days over 90 degrees! We highly recommend this cozy cottage.

Quaint and great location

We were in Cape cod to enjoy all of the Cape Cod has to offer from one end to the other and this location was centrally located and very quaint and in a lovely neighborhood. We had five adults and initially thought that we would be struggling with only one bathroom although they do have an outdoor shower that is wonderful for alfresco bathing. Very nice neighbors and close to many nice beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely home. Perfect location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Lovely home, beautiful environment, kind neighbors, peaceful nights and perfect location for all things Cape. Red River beach was our beach of choice but cost $20 to park. Pleasant Beach was an easy walk as was Forest Beach with no fees. Hopefully will be available for a return trip next year! Btw shed has all you need for the beach so no need to bring chairs, umbrella, etc.

Perfect Spot!

This place was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and had all the conveniences. We walked to the beach daily and were close enough to town if we felt like venturing out. Great spot, will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage!

My husband, dog and I all loved staying at the cottage. It’s in a great location — easy walk to the beach and convenient to both Chatham and Harwich. Cottage was clean, bright and very well equipped. Would definitely stay again!!

Pleasant stay at Pleasant Street Beach

We had another amazing vacation at this cottage just a quick walk from Pleasant Street Beach. The home is a convenient home base to get to Chatham, Harwich Port, Orleans and everywhere else we headed to while we enjoyed our stay on the Cape. The cottage is clean and cozy. And our landlord is a pleasure.

Better than expected.

The owners were quick to respond to questions prior to the stay. The kids loved the daily short walk to the beach. The laundry room was a great bonus room with a day bed. The house was clean and offered a private yard. Perfect for the 4 adults and 2 kids!

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very convenient. The only downside was the the front room with twin beds did not easily cool off with the mini split.

Nice clean house . Great location

I was very happy with the house , very clean .The king size bed was very comfortable . Yard was big . Patio was nice but some of the bricks around the patio are sticking up so be careful waking on them . Beach down the street very small and rocky , not really a beach you can swim in unless you have water shoes . over all great place , I would definitely stay again .

Perfect for Us!

This cottage was just right for us. Actually we never used two of the bedrooms. Great location- quiet. Comfortable and well-equipped house. Very comfy king-sized bed. Washer and dryer were great to have. Glad to be able to bring our dog!

Just got home....

A great spot for a getaway! It is on the small size , which isn't necessarily a bad thing. We loved the beach at the end of Forest Beach Rd. A quintessential Cape Cod Beach! Even an ice cream truck came through! The cottage is convenient to Chatham and Harwichport - so many restaurants/bars/shops. A relaxing and fun-filled vacation! The kitchen is also well equipped. We did have to look around for some towels for the kitchen/bathroom. We brought our own beach towels. One small confusion was that the master bedroom had sheets/blankets but the two other bedrooms did not. We weren't prepared with bedding so my adult kids just slepted on the bed with the bedspreads. Maybe bring sleeping bags if you want. Lovely spot overall! Enjoy!

The location was perfect!

The house is small but has all the essentials. The back yard was perfect for our dog. The kids enjoyed walking to the beach everyday. The views are amazing and the breezes are refreshing. We went on the bike path that it's near by and had a great time. I would definitely stay at this place again. The location was convenient and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Owner was helpful and responded to all our questions.

Great home base with short walk to the beach

We had a great week with this clean and comfortable cottage. Short walk to Pleasant Street beach and short drive to Harding’s Beach. Owner is super helpful with a great info packet about the cottage and surroundings. Could not have asked for a better experience after spending over 40+ years vacationing at the Cape. Especially with the current COVID situation. Awesome stay.
