The overall condition of the place was very shabby. The pictures online were from a long time ago. The paint on the walls was chipped and had spots all over. The floor was so dirty you could not walk around barefoot. The gas grill outside cottage 1 was filthy. In addition, it did not turn on. All faucets were leaking constantly. The refrigerator made things freeze in cottage 1. The gas fire pits were out of gas. The tennis courts were occupied by an event venue despite online the booking included the tennis courts. The disc golf was overgrown and could not be used. The sign outside says luxurious, but there was no luxury. The rooms were very mediocre. Under the sink was filthy.

Perfect Property

My friends and I had a blast. There was 15 of us who were all able to have a spot to sleep comfortably. Property was perfect for what we were looking for. Pool, grill, pickleball court, lots of space and tables to hang out and play some games. Check in/out process was super easy and the owner was very responsive. Couldn’t recommend any better place for a large group of guys!!!

40th birthday weekend

I was skeptical of the winter stay since there appears to be a lot more to do during the summer. But the pool didn’t disappoint. Silvio was very responsive. I very much recommend.

Great getaway

This trip was great and so much fun. Property entertained our large group. Kids enjoyed playing pickle ball and swimming in the heated pool anytime they wanted. Didn’t have any issues but anytime I reached out to Silvio the response was almost instantaneous and accommodating. We plan on making this a yearly retreat.

Host was very pleasant and helpful whenever needed. I definitely recommend to any group for a peaceful getaway. Pool was clean and just the right temperature. We were all very happy and will definitely be back again. Great property, great host, great service and a great time. Nicer than pictured.

The property exceeded our expectations by far. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. The accommodations were clean, well kept & very well stocked. There was plenty of room for our large family. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating and gave us full access and free range of his beautiful & expansive property & facilities, far more than advertised. The pool was clean & large and very much enjoyed. We highly recommend the host & his property. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for family

I really liked the property, the cottages were very clean inside, the pool exceeded our expectations, the facilities for playing and including the equipment for the game were great. Communication with Silvio was excellent. I just want to recommend the following: clean up the surroundings of the houses a bit, they were dirty. Try to eliminate the bad smell at the entrance of the second house where the washing machine is located. In summary: I would rent this property again for a future family reunion.

Wonderful Time in the Poconos

The past few years we have had two growing families try different vacations. Campers, Hotels, etc. We chose this property due to the two cabins which allowed the two families to have their own space and the pavilion was better than we expected. Almost all our time was spent there. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group.

Silvio went above and beyond for our group of ladies! His property is perfect for a weekend getaway with endless possibilities for fun! The pool was a big hit, along with the campfire, projection screen, I can go on and on. The cottages were very clean and accommodating, he made sure to have everything you need and fully stocked. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful estate for a fun and relaxing getaway with friends and family. We appreciate everything he and his son did for us! Can’t wait to stay again!

Private Getaway

Silvo is a wonderful host and human being. He graciously opened his estate to our family during the holiday season and even gave us eggs when we were out. The pool is wonderful! I just wish it was better weather to enjoy the many activities he has on the property.

Beautiful property and gracious host

The property was beautiful. I highly recommend for your next big family get together. The indoor pool was a family fun favorite. It was a wonderful thanksgiving for 18 of us. We shopped the premium outlets on Black Friday, visited the casino and also went horseback riding. All of these place were only a very short ride from this centrally located property. The host Silvio and his son were amazing. They were helpful and kind. I definitely recommend this for your family gathering.

Bachelor Party

We stayed here for my brother’s bachelor party. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was truly a wonderful experience. The cottages are perfectly sized for a large group of people. The indoor swimming pool acted like a nice middle ground for us all to meet and hangout. Everything was clean and nice. The swimming pool is amazing as well. It was truly an amazing weekend and the host is extremely kind and welcoming. If you’re looking to rent a property in this area, look no further. This place is amazing.

Space not large enough to accommodate what we requested

We could not stay at the property as we had 13 adults and 4 kids.. 5 separate families visiting for a wedding... we could not have everyone stay in the small cottages with 1 bath each.. especially with our groups make up.. So we were able to find a last minute replacement large enough to accommodate our group

Family vacation

Our families, total of 13 people, loved our stay! The rain didn't bother us much with the indoor pool and covered grill area were our favorite hangout spots. The pickleball court was a hit with all ages!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I’ve chosen this particular property to race my family 17 years ago, the history of this place is stunning.
The structure was build in the mid 1920s, the original owner was a bootlegger from New York, it is believed that it took 4 years to finish the project.
With laboring 40 masons from Europe.
We enjoyed our time here and now that my boys are grown up and moved on I’ve decided to share this beautiful estate with other families, so far it is been wonderful to have met so many great families making new memorable moments here.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The salt water heated pool is in my opinion the main attraction, although my favored part of the estate is the tranquility here, with 20 acres of wooded space.
Plenty to do here from outdoors grilling to enjoy tennis, to try a pickle ball game my now favorite sport...:).
We are minutes away from skiing, boating, water parks, golf, fishing, casino,restaurants, and more.
