Cozy home on17acres, overlooking large private pond w/ heated pool, and hot tub.

Enjoy spending private time with family and friends paddling on the lake, swimming in the heated pool or an evening in the outdoor hot tub. Pet friendly with gated deck and fenced yard. Very close to Lake Wallenpaupack and other great attractions. Golfing, Hiking, Waterfalls, Miniature golf, Go-Karting, ATV tours, Antiquing, Brewery's.


Please note House Rules:
**Absolutely NO smoking of any kind in the house*

*Breaking House Rules will lead to additional charges*

-Fishing: Catch and release only.

-Trash Removal: Please be advised that upon checkout all waste products from the kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor areas etc. should be cleaned up into trash bags and placed in garbage can outside. The property restored to that upon check-in

-Only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Feminine hygiene products, wipes, baby wipes or any other materials are prohibited.

-Pets: We welcome pets in our house but ask that they be no bigger than 40lbs. and be kept on the first floor and off the beds. There is a large fenced area and gated deck. Please clean up after your pet. Do not dispose onto the property. Poop bags provided.

-During the winter months we will get snow and will have someone contracted to clean the driveway but please note depending on various circumstances it may not be removed right away. Please keep this in mind when planning your winter trip. Pool closed during winter months.

-No smoking of any kind inside the house. Please do not throw cigarette/cigar butts on the property.

-Please be aware there is a pond, pool and hot tub on this property. Pool is the only one that is fenced. Please keep an eye on children and use safety precautions while using each body of water. Life jackets available.

-Accidents happen, if something breaks, please let us know so that we can quickly replace it for our next guests.

-Quiet hours 10pm-7am

-No events/parties/fireworks

-Provided Starter Supplies: For your convenience, you will find a starter supply of coffee k-cups, tea, paper towels, dish soap and dish detergent, few garbage bags. You must purchase any required additional supplies.

-A short drive to the local supermarket, liquor store, restaurants, drugstore and antique shops

Everything was wonderful. It was our 3rd time here and the owner is easy to work with and thorough. We had pool days, fishing days and game playing days.

Family retreat

We had a wonderful stay here. House and property were clean and well maintained. The pool was perfect on hot summer afternoons and the kids loved using the kayaks provided on the lake. We also fished most mornings too! Communication with our host was easy and she was very helpful with any questions we had. Thank you for a relaxing family getaway!

Beautiful home with all the amenities. Nicely supplied kitchen, clean and comfortable bedrooms with abundant AC if needed. Fun to fish in the stocked pond along with a twin foot powered paddle boat and 2 kayacks. We enjoyed the large heated pool along with a deck sunken hot tub. PEven with some rain this was a great place for a week vacation for all ages.
Our children and grandchildren loved 17 acres!

Peacefull and relaxing

The property provides peaceful and relaxing afternoons, with a gentle breeze on warm days. A short walk leads to the property’s lake, where dogs can enjoy a swim. There are trails on the property that loop around to the house, good for a nice walk with the dogs. The pool is the perfect size for a small family, and the location is conveniently close to hiking trails and grocery stores. The owner is extremely friendly and easily reachable, with no long wait times. highly recomended.

This was our second visit to Catherine’s home. It is perfect for our family of eight. The house is renovated and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are our favorites. The fishing is great in the pond.

BEAUTIFUL home! The comfiest beds which usually doesn’t happen with rentals- I noticed. Super clean! The most gorgeous well kept property! Loved it! The owner was super easy to communicate with- very kind!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It’s very spacious and pretty with a cabin feel. The kitchen was large, well stocked. We enjoyed walking around the lake. The fireplace was a little tricky to operate,we didn’t use.

Great vacation

This home was everything and more than advertised. I had a great experience with the communication with the owner. The home offered everything needed from cooking meals to using the pool. We had 5 adults and 1 toddler and we all had all the space that was needed. I will definitely be returning.

Pond & Pool

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The layout of this cabin was a big hit, very spacious and clean! My kids, husband and I spent all day hopping between the pond, pool & hot tub. The fishing was amazing - lots of sunnies, perch, catfish and some nice size bass! My dogs loved swimming in the pond and the gated wrap around porch was a great place to hang while they dried. The owner was very responsive during our stay and great to work with!

Nature and wildlife

Our family vacation has to be big enough for 6 and have a pool and this place was perfect. We were in the pool every day. We saw deer, beavers, snakes and an assortment of birds on the property. The enclosed deck and pool were perfect for our dog to keep him from wandering. Our 3 granddaughters want to go back next year.

Love this property! Second year in a row. Definitely going back. Annual family vacation. Relaxing, fun and just beautiful, the grounds are amazing with Pond full of fish the pool is awesome. Property is beautiful, clean, well maintained. We had 8 adults and 2 children, all had enough space. Master bedroom is large with 2 queen beds but none of our adult children wanted to share a room with their parents so they opted for sofa (haha) Would be great for girls trip or multi family trip also. Other bedrooms were very nice also, enough bathrooms for everyone. Pool is beautiful and we spent most of our time there. Definetely would recommend and hopefully will stay again.

Beautiful stay in the Poconos

This property was perfect for our family of four adults, three teenage boys, and 2 dogs. We used everything available including the kayaks, paddleboat, pool, hot tub, ping pong table, and fire pit. The house was very clean, spacious and updated. We especially liked that the house was not over decorated, the closets were empty, and the kitchen was not over-stuffed with too many items. The pond was so much fun. We saw beavers and turtles while kayaking. The house Is perfect for dog lovers, especially if they are good off leash. Our pups loved all the space to run and the fenced in area in the back was perfect for potty breaks. The host was very responsive, getting back on questions within an hour. Highly recommend!

Amazing Lakefront getaway

A few of my family members, along with some friends enjoyed a lovely weekend! Beautiful view of the lake. Inside the house was very nice! Very accommodating there where extra towels in the second floor bathroom and in each bathroom, extra blankets, dishes, pots & pans, there were even a few shot glasses. Huge smart tvs to enjoy your favourite streaming services. The pool wasn’t open unfortunately because of the season but the hottub was great! My personal favourite. Jetted tub and walk in shower in one of the bathrooms a big hit amongst my family and I. Check in was very convenient. The property was great definitely perfect for a small group of friends or a family. I’d love to bring my whole family back in the summer!

Poorly stocked, but everything else was great

On the poorly stocked part: - No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash was included in the bathrooms. - We were only given ~4 trash bags for a group of 11 for 2 nights for both trash and recycling (over NYE), so we ran out and had to start using plastic grocery bags, which felt stingy of them. - We were also down to our last roll of toilet paper (spooky!). - The kitchen had very few spices (and no olive oil!). - The kitchen knives were very full and there weren’t too many pots and pans (and they weren’t big enough to fit food for 11 people), so cooking meals was somewhat challenging. Dishwasher pods and a sponge and dish soap were all provided though! But everything else was great! We enjoyed the open first floor, the big couch, and the hot tub. There is a lot of privacy on the property, which was also nice (besides outdoor cameras?). The host was communicative, the Wi-Fi worked well enough, and the cabin felt “nice”. The location wasn’t anything special, but it was a cabin in the poconos, which is what we were shooting for. (:

Pocono Paradise

The home was beautiful and spotless. Much better in person. We had 5 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone. The home was stocked nicely and the amenities were plentiful. The weather allowed us to be outside everyday and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pond. Fishing was great! The peddle boats and kayak were fun. We will be back.

Perfect getaway oasis

We absolutely loved everything about this property and really enjoyed our stay. Not once did the children ages 3- 19 state they were bored, which is huge with little ones! House has plenty of space to accomadate everyone. The pool and jacuzzie were the big hits of the week. Pond and kayaks for the the fishers of the family. Master bathroom is wonderful. Only 2 suggestions dressers for clothing in rooms and rolled pull down blinds in master windows for morning. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year and extend the time at the property! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your piece of serenity!

Private preserve

Great house, pool was awesome, pictures were just like the house. The pond had loads of fish, and the grounds were like your own private preserve. We saw Beaver, Deer, Frogs and all sorts of awesome greenery. Very peaceful and great place to unwind. The house was just as beautiful. Beds and furniture like new..house was in great shape, homeowner was very responsive to all requests.

Family vacation 2022

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The house is beautiful and spacious. Our family of nine had more then enough room to spend time together. The pool was amazing! My grand children enjoyed hours of fishing at the pond. At night we spent our time at the firepit and in the hot tub. Our week together at this home was wonderful!
