Long Weekend Stay

Amazing property for our weekend getaway! It’s close to the slopes for skiing and close to all the shops and restaurants. The property is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend staying at this property and hope it’s available for our future getaways.

snowboard trip

The condo at Expedition Station in River Run was perfect for our group, with 4 separate sleeping options (2 bed rooms, a pull-out couch, and a Murphy bed). The living space was just about big enough as well as the well stocked kitchen. The only downside was the fireplace didn't work, which we didn't try until the morning of our last full day, so really had no effect on our trip.____Location was excellent and the check-in and out procedures were easy and time saving. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo!

Great location. Easy access to the shops, restaurants and small grocery stores. Easy check in. The property was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinners.

Loved this property. Check-in process was seamless even when I missed the whole description and Matt was very understanding. Plenty of space for a family of 5. You cannot beat this location. 100% I would stay again (and I've already looked).

Very Nice Condo, Walking Distance To Keystone Gondola

Location. Location. Location. Great value for a place with such incredible access to the mountain. Condo itself is clean, spacious for a family of 5, and has all basic necessities. Parking is useful and the pool/hot tub area is a plus.

Good value, but one key amenity not as described

Very nice condo for a family of five. Five minute walk to the gondola, two minutes to the village square. Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Only complaint is that the property is advertised as coming with a ski locker. The keys provided did not work in the locker. We contacted the property manager, and he blamed the HOA. No resolution ever happened, resulting in us having to haul five pairs of skis up the stairs every day and store them in the condo, which was a hassle and took up valuable space. We asked for a discount due to the hassle, and the manager denied our request, saying it was the HOA’s problem. Left a bad taste in our mouth for an otherwise nice stay.

River Run great area

Mat, was super about responding always to any questions or concerns. We didn't get to stay at original booking since some reno was being done that wasn't expected to still be going on, but Mat put us up in another area close to River Run and appreciated his help with that!

Location location location

Perfect location to mountain!! The gondola was about 100yards away but they have wagons at the resort to cart your kids skis etc if you need it & it’s not that far if you don’t happen to get a wagon. My 9 & 11yr old were able to carry their gear to the gondola one day. There’s also a ski rental shop right next door which is SUPER convenient!

A MUST STAY

This property is very cozy and homey, and we would definitely stay here again. It’s in close proximity to the Summit Express and the Gondola, and to the downtown Keystone area. We got take out (thanks COVID) for our evening meals and never had to walk or drive more than 5 minutes. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and 3 different coffee machines (2 Keurigs and 1 coffee pot). Three full bathrooms was also a plus!! The only thing I would improve, and it’s so minor, is the pillows on the beds. Thanks for a great vacation!

Very satisfied

The unit worked well for our family of 8. There was a lot to do within a short distance. The kids loved the warm pool. Parking was easy. The unit was accurately advertised. Some maintenance needs made us a little nervous: shower splashguards were loose, master bathroom lower cabinet door hinges need tightened, and the toilet handle was cracked. However, the unit was great and we'd stay again.

Clean. Spacious. Plenty of paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, etc for the entire stay! Lots of towels available. Laundry machines down the hall took credit cards so you don’t need to worry about having coins. They need to update the check in info for the listing though. Condo location is not as described in the check in email or for finding the car tag for the garage but the condo was easy to find regardless and we just left a note on our dash a size instructed by the check in procedures. A non issue.

Great location

Location is great. The condo is roomy and well stocked. Keypad for entry is terrific. Note that there is no free overnight parking available if your group has more than one vehicle so plan accordingly. You will need the HonkMobile app in order to pay for parking ($25 per night). This would have been helpful for us to know ahead of time. Deck is nice but we were unable to enjoy it bc it was covered in snow and ice and there was no shovel to clear it. We contacted Matt daily the first 3 days requesting the shovel but it never came. We gave up after that.

Great location! Easy Check in!

The location was awesome! But we immediately noticed that the fireplace didn’t work. Emailed the host. Fast response, but they weren’t sure what was wrong with it or how to fix it. Watching it snow without a fireplace should be illegal! lol :/ Day 5, we woke up to no running water. Later that afternoon we returned from 6 hours of snowboarding to find the water was working, but the hot water heater wasn’t. So…. You could either be smelly and warm, or take a 33 degree icy shower and become a human popcicle! :D

Overall good stay with a few issues

The condo was ideally located in River Run Village and was as advertised. The beds were fairly comfortable (even the pull out sofa). You really could not beat the location. The unit provided many fans which really helped since it was quite warm. It was nice that there were 3 full bathrooms. The unit is not very large, but was fine for our family. The hallway bathroom has a VERY stained toilet that really needs to be replaced. The kitchen sink faucet was very loose and almost coming off the sink. I also had to call around to find an additional parking spot for my daughter who was arriving a day after we checked in. After calling Keystone transportation, I found that I could stop at the Keystone rental office and get a parking pass for the River Run Gondola lot, but the management company was no help to me at all. I had also called the Keystone Lodge and they advised that we could also park in the lot across the street at the convention center and just provide them with our license plate number.
