One of the best!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I vacation in Hilton Head often. This was by far the best unit we've stayed on in 5 years. It was equipped with everything needed in a home and for the beach. We didn't need to buy beach chairs or bring our bikes. They were all conveniently provided. EXCELLENT stay!

Great location, cute small space

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The villa is nicely laid out, has everything you need, is in a safe, pleasant complex and is an easy walk to the beach. Watch out for the 2 steep flights of stairs to access the apartment! The Property manager was very prompt to explain how the door lock worked and to help with making the TV work.

Great Location

Great central location. Easy to bike to a lot of places. 10-15 minute drive to most restaurants. 5 minute walk to the beach. Free bikes were a nice touch, as were the beach chairs.

Sister Weekend

This was actually our second time ending up in the same unit. We love it. Great location. Super clean. King Bed is amazing, very comfortable.

Great Little Condo

Location was a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. We used the bikes everyday so it was nice to have them included. More thorough instructions on how to operate the televisions would have been helpful. Upon our arrival, the front door would not lock properly but we called the property maintenance and they came within half an hour and solved the problem.

Outstanding

The entire rental process was very easy and communication was excellent. Any issues were immediately addressed. Very satisfied. Location is perfect, easy access to the beach and Coligny Circle. Ammenuties in the unit were great but the bikes were the best, much appreciated. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints at all. BBQ was a bonus, could use new burners but served the purpose. Pool area was well maintained, very nice on sunny afternoon. Definitely recommend this unit and I would stay again.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Proximity to beach and Coligny is nice, however, the condo is dirty and in rough condition. The washer/dryer is ancient, tiny, and takes forever to dry clothes. The balcony is covered in mildew.

Cozy condo

This place is perfect if you’re just looking for a place to stay. It has everything we needed, was clean, and is in a great location. But it is small! Our only complaints are that the bed is very uncomfortable and should be replaced…we both need to go to the chiropractor this week after sleeping on that awful bed for a week. Also, the bathroom sink drains very slowly making it difficult to rinse toothpaste or soap. And the dryer takes forever to dry things. We were missing hand towels and washcloths when we arrived. I called after hours and received almost an immediate response and the towels arrived by the time we returned from dinner. Overall the place is nice as long as you know that it is small.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed the location and having the bikes to explore. It was quiet and simple. The only negative was when we walked in, it smelled like a musty basement. Turning the air conditioning down to 70 helped with that, but the first evening was pretty bad. Bad enough that I wasn't sure I could stay there because I felt like I couldn't breathe. But, the air conditioning improved that. However, there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I still gave it an overall 4 stars because the situation improved with the air running more. If it had not improved it would have been a nightmare for me and I would have given it 1 star. I think the roof leaked and created the wet ceiling that grew mold. I think that needs to be fixed, the mold removed, and the air handling system cleaned. I am writing this much detail so hopefully the owner and property manager will fix this issue.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was overpriced for what we got. There is poor lighting throughout. The bathroom is tiny, tiny, tiny and not enough towel racks. All table seating is hightop seating- both inside and outside on the deck. It would have been nice to have had another option for a table. The kitchen has minimal outfitting- no salt & pepper; no saran wrap or aluminum foil. The decor is very very dated- beach decor which did not fit the tiny bare existence apartment.

Last minute Hilton Head trip

The location was just adjacent to the Alder beach access and an easy half mile walk to Coligny circle. Would definitely rent here again.

Nice stay near the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was perfect for us. The bedding, kitchen and bathroom were all clean. It was nice that beach chairs were included. Also the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bikes were a wonderful bonus as well. We used them to get everywhere. Property management was quick to respond to any inquiries and the nicest thing was they allowed late check out for us since we had a late flight and no rental car (we were beyond grateful for this!) We did end up renting a beach umbrella and had to buy our own beach towels to use for the week. Those are two things that would be nice to have at the condo but it had everything else we needed.

We parked our car and rode our bikes everywhere the entire time. Short walk to the beach. Pool proximity is also a plus. Communication was easy and responsive. We even got to check in a little bit early. Would stay here again. Forgot to turn on the dish washer before we left. Sorry.

Couples Getaway

We booked this last minute for our first trip to HH. The price and beach drew us in, but we were pleasantly surprised at how close everything really was! The unit has had some cosmetic updates, but nothing spectacular. If you look closely, there are some issues that need to be addressed, but at that price, I have no complaints. The unit had everything we needed and the bikes were a really nice addition! I don’t know that we would have used them if they weren’t offered and I’m glad we had that experience. A must on the island! The access to the beach…and bathrooms…and coligny were all fantastic. Would go with Island Rentals again in a heartbeat and will seek out some of their other properties next time.

Great trip!

The only reason I left four stars for the overall stay is that the washer dryer may need to be repairs or replaced, as it did not really want to dry our clothes. Everything else was wonderful and the short walk to the beach made it even better!

Spring Getaway

My wife and I loved the place. Super easy bike ride across the street and down the path to the beach. Bathrooms available at the beach. The pool is tucked away inside the middle of the complex. Clean. Quiet. Safe. The space is roomy. We would absolutely stay again.
