The Cozy Buffalo near Palo Duro Canyon & WTAMU

The Cozy Buffalo is a spacious home with a farmhouse feel. It is in walking distance from the college campus, close to the downtown square, and a 10 minute drive to Palo Duro Canyon. Palo Duro Canyon offers hiking, zip lining, horseback riding, the play Texas, and a multitude of other activities.
The Cozy Buffalo is a home away from home for all of our guests. Including Wifi, Direct TV with 155 + channels, Netflix, Hulu, and many other streaming programs with your username and password.

Features of the home

This 2400 sq ft home has a lot of room for activities or a simple relaxing weekend. It has 2 large living rooms, a nice dining room, a reading nook, and 3 spacious bedrooms. We have added many touches that make the Cozy Buffalo feel like home.

Guest are allowed to access all parts of the house.

I reside in Canyon myself, I'm only a phone call away! Please feel free to contact me for anything and everything at any time during your stay. I want my guests to enjoy their time at the Cozy Buffalo.

The Cozy Buffalo was perfect. We spent the weekend in Canyon for homecoming. The location was perfect. The host was helpful. I will be coming back!

The house was very clean and well appointed. I was glad we had a back yard to sit in and enjoy the evenings as well as our doggie. The location of the house is perfect and so close to everything.

Great location, house is very roomy and perfect for our family. We were visiting to attend a family reunion in the Palo Duro State Park area. The state park is well worth visiting and offers so much; hiking, scenic views, jeep tours, horseback riding. Also, this property is nearby many good restaurants and coffee shops. And, our family enjoyed the Aqua Park swimming pool in the area.

We are a family of six, with four teenagers, and we stayed one night to hike in Palo Duro Canyon on our way to Grand Canyon and Moab, UT. This rental was in a quiet location, and it was clean and updated. We had plenty of room for our family. Great rental, and we would stay here again!

Great place to ha e family stay

Had our parents stay with us as well as our son that goes to WT. Had our 3 dogs as well that enjoyed the backyard. Unfortunately our 4th dog had to stay at home because only 3 dogs are allowed. But nonetheless it was a great stay.

Rambling House

This is an older large rambling house great for several parties staying together or adults who need some privacy. Very clean & well maintained; large fenced backyard for kids/pets to blow off steam. Host very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we needed the space.

Great Stay

We visited Canyon Texas for the R100 Bow Shoot which was amazing fun and stayed at this great place. It was like being at home. Very clean and comfortable for our family and Grand children. It had everything we needed. was quiet so much space. It was easy access to everything. We look forward to staying again in the future. Great Home!

Spring Break Trip

We had a great time! We were hiking in Palo Duro Canyon for spring break, and stayed here for a few days. The house was clean, comfortable, and close to the Canyon.

We love Canyon in general. This property was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Other than the terrible dirt/wind storm we had a great time.

An everything space

This property is perfect for literally anything. Got a big group of people? Its got 3 bedrooms with 4 total beds that can easily house 12 people. Need a bigger space for multiple groups of people? It has 2 living rooms for people to hangout in. Got pets? Its a pet friendly property with a large yard for them to run around in. Anyhing you need a property for this has you covered. 10/10 stay.

Plenty of room

The location was perfect, right near Canyon's main streets. Although the bathrooms are a bit odd and dated, the entire place was exceptionally clean and the bedrooms are spacious. There's plenty of room for a family to spread out in this home.

Perfect Base for Canyon Excursions

Plenty of space for 3 families - 6 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen was well equipped for doing our own cooking. Within walking distance of a very good museum. Close to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Completely met our needs.

Grand daughters 1st birthday

The place itself is very nice. Big plenty of room and very clean. We rented this place to have our grandaughters 1st birthday party. In the pictures it shows green grass in front and back. Those pictures should be updated. Yard is no longer green, very dry.

Annual Girl Trip

Quiet neighborhood, very clean, good beds, . Host answers every message w/in 10 minutes. Close to the university and w/in walking distance to a donut shop. Highly recommend this cozy home.

Older house but lots of room and clean

We stayed with 5 adults and there was plenty of room. Nicely appointed with comfy beds. Huge yard. Only issue we had was a clogged toilet that never got serviced. We were told a plumber would be called but never heard back from owner. Would stay again.
