The host communicated in a timely fashion and was wonderfully responsive to all our needs. The condo was outfitted with everything needed for a comfortable stay, it was clean and cozy, with extra of everything (important when you're traveling with kids!). We will gladly stay here again for our next beach adventure! Its close to the bay, the beach, and yummy local restaurants just a few blocks away.

Thanks for the great review Audry. So Happy you had a good time and got some of our plentiful and yummy Alsea Bay Crabs! October/November are some of the best months for crabbing. And we're so lucky to be located less than 200 yards from the free crabbing dock.

this was a cute place, the people who own it was very nice and accommodating. I didn't realize that it had stairs though, but I probably should have, and it was a little hard on us old folks. all in all it was a pleasant stay.

Missing blinds. Light over the stove did not work. Dog gate broken.( in the house) Lots of dings on the walls. We did not cook in because it was stated no cooking shell fish of any kind. Was absolutely dog friendly. Great location to the beach and Hwy 101. Over all comfortable but in need of some updating and maintenance.

Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-The stove is fully functional. Both light switches need to be turned on for the light to operate, providing better control and safety. Guests are always welcome to reach out with any questions about using the appliances.-The gate at the top of the stairs is intended for child safety and is not designed or needed for dogs. It provides an extra measure of safety, helping ensure safe movement throughout the home.-The windows are now fitted with high-quality thermal blackout curtains, replacing the previous lack of coverings.-Our maintenance team will inspect the property for any concerns, including minor marks on the baseboards, and complete any necessary touch-ups to ensure the property is well-maintained for upcoming stays.​​​​​​​We hope this helps future guests feel confident in choosing our property for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Oregon Coast Visit

Rental was perfect. Extremely clean and homey. Walking distance to marina, beach and several restaurants. Location in residential area so it was very quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable. Everything you could need was provided. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of towels and linens including beach towels. Nice tv with dish tv and WiFi worked very well. I highly recommend this for couples or for families. There were 2 sleeper sofas in the living area that we didn’t use. Our son and his family who were camping close by were able to join us for breakfast around the nice large dining table. The owner was a pleasure. We would stay again if ever in the area again.

Weekend getaway

The Alsea Bay townhouse was very clean, bright and conveniently located right around the corner from the Alsea River. It was also pet friendly which meant our dog could join us for a weekend at the beach. The owners were very nice and accommodating and made sure to check in and make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. My husband really enjoyed being able to walk a mere two blocks and cast a line in to the river to try some fishing. Most of the people that we met down at the docks were very friendly and enjoyed sharing a fishing tip or two. There are also a few restaurants right around the corner and a grocery store within walking distance should you need to pick something up for dinner. All in all we had a good trip and would definitely stay here again.

Close to the bay

We stayed a few nights here. The location was perfect in relation to the bay. The hide a bed was very uncomfortable and had no blankets available on the shelf in the pantry, luckily we brought an extra. Amenities were lacking in the way of dish soap and shampoo/conditioner. So bring your own. Coffee was Yuban so again, bring your own. Dishwasher was nice to have. Queen bed was comfortable. We had sugar ants arrive towards our last night and then progressively got worse. Owner was very responsive. All in all good place if you aren't spending time there and out fishing and need a place to cook and sleep.

That being said, we've passed the information along to our cleaning crew to ensure the home is adequately equipped for all of the sleeping arrangements. - As is standard in the vacation rental industry, we provide a starter amount of toiletries and other essential supplies for our guests. Generic products may be offered at times to accommodate all guest comfort and preferences. We apologize if the products provided did not fit your needs. - We reached out to our exterminator to service the property before the next guests arrived, and are happy to report that there has been no issue with the ants since. Great Location

Great Location for downtown Waldport with walking distance in town and shopping. Owner was wonderful with updates prior to arrival and very accessible. The unit was very well stocked with everything you could need for your stay! This is our third trip to Waldport and we will be back with our two pups!

Quiet and safe.

This was my first experience with VRBO - I liked it and I would return. It was perfect for my spouse and I and 2 dogs. The kitchen was well stocked, and in a safe area. The stairs are very steep - not an issue but depending on who is staying could pose a challenge. I did have an odd experience with an elderly woman when I was putting out my trash before leaving - she asked " if I was the new runner" and let me know she had watered the plants - not sure what happened. I thought the size of the rental was perfect. There is a grocery store close by and a larger town not too far if you need more groceries or supplies. I would definitely stay again when going to a family get together in the area.

Waldport Getaway

This little home was just what we needed for a long weekend stay at the beach. The house was very comfortable for two with all amenities except a washer/dryer. My morning walks on the beach into town for a coffee at the Expresso 101 were very satisfying. We were able to drive either way on 101 and see lighthouses and beautiful vistas.

Wonderful

Great value for the price! It was a nice, peaceful place. I loved all the windows that let the light poor in. Really nice double shower head. Close to the bay. I could hear the waves crashing when I let the dogs out into the fenced yard. There are stairs up to the unit but they were not a problem for us even though I have bad knees. The owner was great about responding quickly with any questions I had. We will definitely be booking again.

A great stay in a nice town

This is nice spot! There are a lot of things its not - on the beach, giant, full of views - but its a nice place! Why? Its thoughtfully appointed with a very complete kitchen, comfortable beds (yes, the kids approved of the sofa beds), nice linens and easy care floors. The boat ramp, beach, 4 restaurants, 2 bait shops are within a very small 2 blocks so you can walk everywhere (I portaged the canoe to the water - its easy!). The dog had a nice relief spot behind the house. Will definitely consider staying again! Its not a 5 star hotel, but within its price range this is definitely a 5 star winner

Sea lover from a landlocked state

The property was perfect for a couple ( in this case me and my dog). It was located in a small neighborhood by the boat launch. It was walking distance to the store, shopping and local restaurants. It had a very ice serviceable kitchen for home-cooked meals and the bed was very comfortable. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you get checked in and have everything you need. I appreciated the Netflix access on the bad weather days when we couldn't go to the beach. Very nice stay.
