Villananda - Amazing Beachfront Villa with Private Pool

Villananda is a beautiful beachfront property with polished concrete, antique doors (Ambalangoda is the place for antiques in Sri Lanka) and decorative objects carefully selected from the local area.

The two spacious rooms are equipped with king-size beds (180 x 200 cm) with mosquito nets and air conditioning units. Each has a writing table in the corner.

In one bedroom, the bed can be adjusted into two single beds 90 x 200 cm.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with solar heated water and separate toilets.

Bed linen and towels are of European quality.

The spacious living room/sitting area will allow you to enjoy the eclectic library with a few good books to discover, comfortably seated in the lounge area, unless you prefer an internet session on the coffee table or on the veranda. Speakers systems are available.

The fully equipped kitchen (2 gas burners, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker ...) will allow you to cook yourself if you prefer not to order lunch or dinner from our reasonably priced menu. Breakfast is included, as is filtered water, air conditioning, wifi, and housekeeping.

The vast terrace overlooking the garden, the pool and the sea will welcome you for meals and relaxation.

The private pool is carefully maintained and the water quality monitored every day. Swim peacefully, while enjoying the show of the waves.

The manager will be able to answer your questions and the chef and houseboy will be available to look after your every need. At least one member of staff will stay in the adjoining service house overnight.

The villa is just outside Ambalangoda and the manager can arrange tuk tuk trips for you to the surrounding area or longer journeys and excursions in an air conditioned van. The lively town, Hikkaduwa, is close by and the famous Galle Fort UNESCO heritage site is just over 30 minutes away by tuk tuk.

Transfer from the airport: it takes only about 1 1/2 hours to reach the villa from the airport, depending on the traffic. We can arrange transport for you in an air conditioned minivan at a competitive price.
