When i booked this it was myself and three young grandchildren. When i got the confirmation, it was for 2 adults. They gave me a contact who would not message back to make sure my reservation was correct. I had only 2 days to cancel and get my money back. Finally messaged back and said it was fine. As soon as we arrived I wasn't able to unlick door. Worked on it for a half hour in the sweltering heat. Had to call my contact, hoping he would answer. Finally told me it was a unit with a messed up lock. Kept giving me different numbers to try. Finally got in and the kids said what is that awful smell. Opened door to balcony and screen fell off. Tried to leave and couldn't lock door. The next morning 2 guys showed up to spray for bugs. I daid the kids are asleep, is it safe. They assured me it was so i allowed them to do it. Was sweeping the floor, no dustpan. Was supposed to run dishwasher, but it didn't work so had to wash dishes by hand. No plug for sink. Finally found one in the bathroom. Two tvs and neither worked. When i went to checkout they told me I had to call my contact. No answer and mailbox was full so i emailed him hoping i wouldn't get charged for another night. I don't like to complain, but this was alot. I paid for those amenities.

Our overall stay was pleasant. The condo is located right by the beach and had private access. There were many things great about this apartment! The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and the complex was very safe! But the dishwasher was broken, only two burns worked on the stove, the blinds on the sliding glass doors leading to the balcony were all broken with no privacy, and the garbage disposal had to be cleaned out due to smell coming from it. I think this apartment would be amazing if there were some updates made. When I contacted the owner and the property management they were quick to respond but a solution wasn’t done until we left.

Great location

We stayed at this unit , it’s a little musty smell and little out dated. It was close to the pool and beach which we loved.The unit was fairly clean had all the kitchen things we needed, but the dishwasher wasn’t working ,we didn’t use much mostly paper plate and cups so we really didn’t needed to use it, I did use a frying pan and had to hand wash it. that’s when I realized the dishwasher didn’t work tried to turn on but seem no power to it ?. The bed not too bad , little tied against the wall on one side , but we managed. The review I read said the tv in bedroom didn’t work but it did for us, the bedroom suit is white not the same one in the picture.It would be a great unit it was updated and cleaned a-little better. The deck chairs are ok could be up dated the carpet on the deck floor needs to be removed musty smell. We probably stay again , we did have a good weekend at this the resort .

Great Area- A tad out dated

The area was excellent! Although I do wish we would’ve known it isn’t an ocean view. It was a tad out dated and the blinds/curtains only had maybe 5-6 panels left so we could not close then completely for privacy. Overall it wasn’t bad for the price and 3-4 min walk to the beach.

Love the privacy!

The villa was perfect for what we needed. Close to beach. Resort activities. And dinning if we chose. I loved that our villa faced the field instead of the parking lot or another building. It was quiet and peaceful at night time.

Great Location

Location was great. 2 minutes to the beach. The condo could use a deep cleaning. Hair on the floor throughout. Bathroom was not clean. We could never get the TV to work. However, for the money it was ok.

Great stay

When you get there go to conference center on property to get your parking pass not the security guard. We loved how close it was to the beach. My boys played basketball every night and huge pool was wonderful. Rental was great; perfect size our our family of four. Could use some updates throughout, put tv on the wall in bedroom, new blinds, and working remotes but other than that it was a great stay. Would definitely come back.

Good Week

The stay was good. It’s what I was looking for. I basically just slept and showered there. The furnishing are older but fine. Cooking on the stove was interesting since it was small. Hot water in shower last 10-15 minutes which is fine with just me. Lots of things 10-15 minutes away. Short walk to beach. I’d stay here again. No laundry in condo. It’s not your over the top luxury condo but if you need a place to sleep and shower near the beach this place will work.

Mostly fine

After reading the reviews, I was nervous, but the property has been upgraded. The refrigerator was new and the floors looked like they had been redone. The bathroom tub was not the cleanest and the floors felt like they had sand all over them, but I guess that comes with the beach. On our second day there, the lock broke and we could not lock the unit from the outside. I called the number given to me when the listing was confirmed, but no one answered. Eventually property management came to replace the lock on our third day there. All in all, we booked this listing for the affordability and location. HHB&T has the best pool on the island.

Great Location

When we arrived at the check in time, the condo had not been cleaned. It was after 5:30 before a cleaning crew could arrive and clean the condo. They did a very good job but missed things (dirty dishes, some linens) because they were trying to hurry to let us in. Management had zero concern about the issue. Other than that, the condo itself was fine. I was concerned because of all of the poor reviews. It has a new refrigerator, and all of the appliances worked. The location was amazing. It's worth booking for the location alone especially if you have children.

DISGUSTING

The place is infested with ROACHES. I don’t mean a little bit either. The smoke alarm goes off if you use the oven and the stove eyes are crooked. The pictures and other fixtures give you the full boat experience as they are tilted and leaning. The shower had hair in it and is dirt stained. The blinds (alot)are missing and the sunlight comes in. This property definitely should not be allowed to rent to anyone. Most DISGUSTING place Ive ever rented from.

Very Low Quality Unit

My wife and I have previously stayed in several well-maintained units at this complex, but this one was anything but that. We were terribly disappointed with the condition and cleanliness. To start with the floors are what can only be described as grungy...as if they hadn't been washed in quite some time. The sofa wasn't much better, nor was the balcony floor. All the dishes, glasses, and silverware were in need of washing before use. The bed sagged terribly toward the center. The second morning there the coffee maker wouldn't work so we replaced it with the same $15 model from Walmart and left it there. Although this couldn't be foreseen by anyone, upon taking the first shower the entire shower head arm broke off at the wall. The management company was very responsive, which is why I'm giving this unit two stars instead of just one. So if all you need is a roof over your head at the beach, this unit is for you. At least it has a new coffee maker!

Renters beware!!

I have rented in this complex numerous times and have never been disappointed with my stay or the property until now. My biggest mistake was not reading the reviews prior to booking ! Lesson learned ! Let’s start with the lock to the property to get in. It was the most difficult thing to do —a struggle to lock and unlock the whole weekend ! change the lock or give renters better instructions on how to operate. Upon entering the property the disappointment continued! we will start with the goodwill reject furniture that appeared very old and very uncomfortable! The dining rooms chairs are wicker and super small. The appliances were flat out NASTY! I was scared to open the refrigerator as it looked like it had dried splattered food all over it. fortunately the inside was clean. I refused to use the coffee pot and certainly was not going to cook On that stove. please invest in new appliances they really don’t cost that much. The bathroom had a ceiling fan covered in dust! The medicine cabinet had a fresh coat of paint however the inside was nasty dirty like they didn’t bother cleaning it why paint it ! on to the queen size bed that was a super joke! what standard of queen size was that ?? I was scared that it was going to fall in every time we moved as it moved when you got into the bed and very wobbly. I think it may have been a roll away bed but not sure! Felt like the springs were poking at us all night ! Still physically hurting from sleeping in that bed for 4 nights. Could not figure out how to turn the bedroom tv on. When I opened the bi fold closet door to see if the tv was plugged in there by chance the door on one side came off the track. There was absolutely no room to move around the small room. Could not get the tv remote in the living room to work had to get up and turn the volume up and down and to punch the tv channel in on the remote geez!! that came over on the ARK I guess ! The balcony had an old ratty camping chair which I did not touch along with a small patio set ! I could go on and on but I think by now you get the point! I you wish to discuss this further please let me know!

Needs a update and cleaning

This location is awesome!! The property was minutes from beach! The unit we had had a very old stove and refrigerator but nice granite. The bathroom had a very ceiling fan than had visible dust hanging off it. The shower curtain had visible mold on it. TV in tiny bedroom didn't work. Luckily the location was great so none of that mattered too much.

The unit was not well kept.The refrigerator was old and rusty on the outside. It leaked water and we couldn’t use it. The stove was old and rusty so we were afraid to use it. The dishwasher was also too old to use. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work, the living room tv remote had no batteries. The shower rod was rusty. The toilet seat was broken and fix with super glue. The bedroom dresser was too big so we couldn’t open the closet.the bed mattress was old and we couldn’t sleep the entire stay. This was the worst place I ever stayed. I could go on but if you need pictures let me know.

Place to lay our heads

The place is fine and served it’s purpose for us. Bed was wobbly and the shower head in the bathroom never stopped dripping. Fix those two and would be 5 stars. Would we book again, yes.

Terrible, filthy small condo

After two phone calls with mgt company Elvove assuring me any prior problems with the condo had been resolved, I had high hopes. Could not have been more disappointed. Check in procedures had changed back in April, made it difficult after a long 16 hr drive. Upon entering the condo smells very musty and is literally moist. The refrigerator, all light fixtures. lamps and mirors were rusted from humidity in the unit. The walls were filthy, missing chunks of drywall everywhere and looks as if it had not been painted in 10 + years. Furniture a small couch and wicker chair were hard to sit in because they smelled so bad, luckily I brought fabric sanitizer. Main wall vent in hallway and air returns up high were covered in thick black wet dust. I took my hand a wiped, it was disgusting. Also the small box fan provided was covered in dust. We had to go buy our own floor fan to circulate the air. It was horribly moist in the room. Our clothes were kept in suitcases and were all damp. Balcony had old carpet that smelled bad. Literally 6 small bath towels for a family of 4. 1 dish towel and 1 dish cloth. 2 rolls of toilet paper provided. The resort itself was nice, the pool and beach bar and Gatorz were nice with good food and drinks avail. The beach was beautiful and tide pools were amazing. Disappointed you have to purchase a card from reg desk for $3 to do laundry then had to put money on the card for the washer & dryer. Bunk beds were very small and uncomfortable for my kids and the sofa pullout was even worse. Blinds on the doorwall were missing over half of the panels, so no way to block out the light. Completely disgusted that the property owner would rent this to families in such horrible condition, especially with covid. Luckily I travel with sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. Will be seeking reimbursement from this dishonest owner.

The resort itself was nice, the pool and beach bar and Gatorz were nice with good food and drinks avail. The beach was beautiful and tide pools were amazing. Disappointed you have to purchase a card from reg desk for $3 to do laundry then had to put money on the card for the washer & dryer. Bunk beds were very small and uncomfortable for my kids and the sofa pullout was even worse. Blinds on the doorwall were missing over half of the panels, so no way to block out the light. Completely disgusted that the property owner would rent this to families in such horrible condition, especially with covid. Luckily I travel with sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. Will be seeking reimbursement from this dishonest owner.

Weekend Getaway

The process of booking and checking in was good, the actual unit is low end. Everything is older and dated, it just feels worn out. It was fine for us, we spent very little time in the unit, just to shower and sleep, but the unit could use some updates and a good cleaning.

The condo was perfect for a long weekend! The only that I wasn’t a fan of was the bed in the bedroom. It was very uncomfortable other than that it was great!

Last minute booking

Good: close to pool, ample parking, friendly people all around, good wooden walkway to the beach, parking pass readily available at check-in guard shack, good security and felt safe Not so good: all of the “good” factors were OUTSIDE which was okay for us because we only showered/slept inside.
