Lovely Lake Getaway

We so enjoyed our time at this lake house. The amenities were the best of any property we’ve rented before. From swimming off the dock, to kayaking, to listening to fantastic music on the outdoor speakers while sitting on the luxurious patio, we highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

We loved this place and had a wonderful time here! The outside seating area was our favorite hangout space. We loved the dock and kayaks. The dining area was great for our dinners. Only issues were minor: TV was a problem. Had no access to streaming services or cable and had to have mgmt help us just to get the sound on. Also no plastic cups available to use at the dock-had to buy cups. But other than that it was fantastic and we are already planning our next stay here!

Absolutely loved this house! We had 3 families with kids and had more than enough space. The bedrooms were very spacious and had plenty of room for blow up mattresses for the kids. The kids also loved the downstairs area. It was so nice to have the upstaris for the adults and a space downstairs for the kids. The screened in backporch was great for dinners and intertaining when we were off the lake. The location was great. We brought our boat and tied off to the private dock and were minutes away from Tims Ford Marina on the water. We have rented many homes on this lake and this is at the top of our list.

The Lak Haus did not disappoint!

Beautiful lake house with all the amenities! Our family had a wonderful time playing on the dock and tooling around the lake. We loved everything about it. The house laid out so well with plenty of room for everyone. Thanks so much for letting us stay there. As stated by owners the parking is a little tricky so this location is perfect for families in two or less vehicles.

Perfect Property

We've stayed at this house several times now as it is perfect for us! We've stayed at many different rental properties on Tims Ford as we've been boating there the last 13 years. This by far is the best! It's very clean, the walk to the boat dock isn't exhausting. It's very well stocked, the owners have thought of everything! Best of all, the owners are fantastic. Always willing to work with you, communication is always easy most of all they are very kind hosts and have been very good to us over the years. I'd highly recommend this property if you are looking for a Tims Ford getaway!

Great location with updated decor

Beautiful location which had clearly had some updates. Not enough towels for guests. No washcloths. Half a roll of paper towels in the kitchen with one small hand towel. Property could use some basics for renters such as, cooking spray, coffee creamer, seasonings beyond salt & pepper, filled soap dispensers etcetera. Basement has a permanent musty odor.

Cozy lake house

Our Family of three and a teenage friend of our daughter’s stayed 4 nights at this very cozy lake house at the end of the quiet cove! With 2 stories, the teens stayed downstairs and when not inner tubing on the water, were watching TV or playing on the Xbox (that comes with the home) or just “vegging out”. The 2 bedrooms & full bath downstairs were great for the teens as well as the large sofa too. Upstairs, the master bedroom was spacious with a nice attached full bath. The mattresses were very comfy. The large open space of kitchen & den is very wonderful with a comfy sofa & 2 leather chairs next to the fireplace. We loved having the private dock which are steps from the house (little steep, but nice new walkway) and so we tied up our own boat every night & took it out during the day to inner tube, or eat at Hard Dock Cafe or Drafts & Watercrafts (was last day open for the season). The kitchen is perfect for all things needed to cook. All was amazing especially with our host contact, Laura, who was so very helpful! Only 2 things to add: a swing or a couple of comfy rockers for upstairs porch and maybe 1 TV upstairs (even though we used our computer if needed). However we still give it 5 stars and hope to be back again! Sincerely, The Lee Family

Great waterfront stay

Convenient location, comfortable and clean, well stocked kitchen, wonderful screened porch, and we loved having the dock access for boating and floating. We enjoyed the quiet setting and felt safe floating by the dock being located at the end of one of the many fingers of Tim’s Ford lake. Great family weekend!

Amazing lake house

We highly recommend this Tim’s Ford lake house. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s extremely clean and spacious inside. The views outside are amazing and the cove is just like your own private lagoon. Just minutes away from Tim’s Ford state park and the lakeview marina where we rented a boat. We are definitely coming back! Thank you!

Beautiful and clean!

We truly enjoyed this property and had the most relaxing vacation! I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the property and the location is amazing. We will definitely be back! My only suggestion is that a TV be added upstairs. We had multiple families and at night it was hard for the kids and adults to be on the same page.

Beautiful Lake House

We spent 3 nights and it was wonderful. The house was very clean and well stocked. We loved having the fireplace each night It was a very cold weekend so we didn't get to try the kayaks but did sit out on the dock a little. Will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Fall getaway

Beautiful, well appointed home situated right on the lake. In a quiet, lovely cove. Everything exactly as described. Comfortable and easy to just move in and enjoy. We ate almost every meal on the screen porch, including during a rain storm. Kids swam and fished regularly from dock. 4 kayaks are provided and we made use of them often. Fire pit conveniently located and provided us several pleasurable evenings enjoying family time (and s’mores, of course) by the fire. The owner - Laura- helped us with a few questions in a timely manner. Highly recommended. We hope to be able to vacation here again.

Wonderful stay!

It was a perfect place! We loved the decor and the layout. It was close to the water and we loved fishing off the dock. The kayaks were a wonderful treat. It was quiet and peaceful being at the end of the cove.

A really nice lakeside retreat

We took two couples, two singles and an infant here for a week. The house was very comfortable with several different places to hang out. It is closer to the lake than most houses on Tim's Ford. So you have a great shaded view of the lake all the time. Swimming off the dock was wonderful. We used the four kayaks every day. We rented a pontoon boat at the Marina for two days and enjoyed seeing the larger lake. We fished off the dock, from the kayaks and the boat with no luck. Too hot, wrong time of year. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but is a little small for multiple cooks. Verizon is the only cell carrier with reliable service, so our T-Mobile and AT&T people just used wifi calling. The Internet is entry level cable modem speeds. More than good enough for a vacation. The stereo supports you phone or laptop and has speakers inside and out. A nice bonus. I expect we will stay there again some day.
