The house was so cozy and comfortable! It had everything we needed and more! The lake view was beautiful and we tried to fish off the dock as well! Didn’t really catch anything but a few tiny bluegill. Fire pit was so cozy and a great addition to our stay.

Beautiful views of lake. Great dock for our boat. Kids really enjoyed the pad and board. Location is near Twin Creeks Marina for easy access to public boat launch. You're able to walk to downtown Winchetser, ice cream shoppe, restaurants, movie theaters. The owner Christie was very responsive. The stairs to the pier are a bit exhausting climbing back up with all your gear. But so worth it to be able to enjoy Tim's Ford.

Wonderful & Relaxing weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay in Winchester. The house had everything we needed and more! The large deck and expansive outdoor seating areas were perfect for enjoying the beautiful views and fall weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of living space to move around and relax. We would love to come back.

Relaxing stay

Our stay at this house was wonderful! It was very clean, stocked with essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. It was very close to the wedding we were attending and great access to the lake! The owner was so kind, and responded quickly when I had questions before booking.

Great place for families with older kids.

The house is very nice and the view is great. The amenities were great for older kids but not for a 3 year old. The house wasn't very safe for a young child. There is an elementary school directly across the street and the neigh boring properties were very close so there wasn't much privacy. We weren't able to use the yard or the water out back due to safety issues for our child. The pictures weren't very accurate in showing the very steep stairs that lead to the lake. They were slick at the time and the downward slant of some of the stairs caused some anxiety while carrying a child. That part of the lake was actually just a creek which wasnt really indicated in the description either. This place is great for older families who don't a mind lack of privacy. The owner was very responsive to our concerns and worked with us in order to cut our stay short because this wasn't the right property for our trip. The house is very nice, the beds were comfortable and the large shower was great. Many games for older kids were available but not much for young children.

Winter lake visit with family

Our weekend visit was wonderful, but too short. The "lake house" was a perfect option. There was more than enough room and exceeded our expectations. We would be happy to stay again if we repeat our plans.

Thanksgiving family weekend.

We rented the lake house for a thanksgiving weekend with our boys and their wives. This was the first time we did something like this for Thanksgiving. Such a wonderful time + lots of special memories made. The perfect getaway for a busy season. Forced us all to relax and enjoy quality time as a family. We will defintely be doing this on repeat.❤️

Excellent location and well appointed

Roomy house with well appointed kitchen. Location was ideal. Winchester offered anything else we could need nearby. Rest, relaxation on the floating dock. Canoeing and stand-up paddle board a plus. Most enjoyable visit.

Convenience on the lake

Great spot. Our family stayed over a long weekend and wished we could’ve stayed even longer. Comfortable home stocked with supplies. Loved using the fire pit in the evenings. The dock was great. We used the lily pads and enjoyed the warm water right there. There’s a beach near the marina that’s only about a 10 minute drive away. We didn’t go there, but did rent a boat for the day. Very nice! A great trip that made us all want a lakefront home. But it’s great to have a nice comfy rental instead!!!

Easter at the Lake

We had a relaxing time, and wish the weather would have cooperated. The house has wonderful views out of the back of the property. The house had everything we needed, and a few sweet surprises.

Relax by the Lake

Comfortable lakehouse away from it all!

We loved staying in Winchester - a charming town with all of the necessities. Mostly, we sat on the back porch and enjoyed the views of water, trees, wildlife and boats passing by. A very pleasant stay; thank you.

Nice visit

Really enjoyed the back deck.. not sure if the dogs or the people enjoyed it the most. Nice to have the chairs around the fire pit in the backyard also.

This house is in a wonderful location just a 1.5 hour (or less) drive from Nashville or Franklin or Chattanooga. The house is on a great part of the lake near the new Twin Creeks marina. You can walk to the grocery, restaurants, movie theatre, library, boutiques and festivals on the square.
