"Bart Cottage" is a quaint 3 bed house with 2 living areas (Formal lounge/dining area is air conditioned) nestled in a lovely tree lined avenue of Chelmer. There is a lock up garage and bicycles on site for guest use. Enjoy the convenience of being in close proximity (600 metres) to transport links. It is only 7 kms from City (10 mins by train). With Indooroopilly Shopping Centre , Cinemas and Cafes close by, you will hardly need a car. University of Queensland is also a mere bike ride away. A great base from which to explore Brisbane. Super host on different platform. Check out reviews there. Pets on application. Please note the yard has artificial grass only.

Comfortable cottage in a lovely leafy neighbourhood, convenient to Indooroopilly station. Beautifully clean and well laid out.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage with spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden. Very convenient was the shopping mall just across the bridge. Communication worked well and swiftly.

Excellent property

Great little cottage in a quiet street close to train station and shopping district. Beautiful garden, magnificent large trees in the front and back yard (would be great to be there when the mangos are ripe). The cottage was clean and perfect for a family. Christine was friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Lovely comfortable home away from home

From the friendly and helpful hosts to the extremely comfortable and well fitted out house, our stay was wonderful. The gardens are well-kept, the furniture comfortable, everything was spotless and when we had questions, the answers were quick and clear. And the little added extras like tea, coffee, cereals and milk and an abundance of towels and other linen meant that we were set as soon as we arrived. Well done!

Beautiful home - pretty street

This property far exceeded our expectations. So welcoming, tastefully & generously provisioned, beautifully set up & very accessible to public transport. Communication was clear & excellent. Our dogs were very well catered for. This home is located in a quiet beautifully tree lined street. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality.

Bart Cottage has it all

My husband, son and cat Bonnie had a fantastic two week stay at Bart Cottage. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Christine even left a starter package for us with some milk, bread and cereals. Christine was very prompt with communication, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Bart Cottage to anyone who is looking for a conveniently located, fully equipped house for a family.

Special family times

We spent 6 weeks at Bart Cottage to be close to family members living nearby. The location of the property was fantastic for us. We enjoyed the easy access to a large shopping centre, restaurants , a river walk and Graceville & Chelmer services. The house was cool and light having a nice garden outlook and a lovely front verandah overlooking a beautiful old tree. The 2 living areas, with TVs, were useful at times. Kitchen and laundry were well set up and functional. Bedrooms were all a good size. Off street parking for 2 cars was good and double garage provided storage. We enjoyed our stay there and appreciated the facilities and location. The host was very attentive to our needs and on hand as needed.

Amazing stay

Ian and Christine are amazing hosts. We wouldn't choose anywhere else to stay in the future and will be recommending this to all our family and friends, couldn't speak more highly of Ian and Christine!

Super hosting in Chelmer

Loved it! As long term stayers we found this house to be perfect for us - space, location & fit-out. It has a well equipped kitchen so I could cook a roast, make birthday cakes etc. Good WiFi. The host was amazingly helpful and would go the extra mile to help us during our stay eg we had a very late arrival and she had kindly bought us key essentials for breakfast the next morning. Nice neighbourhood & lots of amenities nearby with the added bonus of bikes. Thank you - we would definitely book again!

Hi, I am Christine and my husband is Ian. My husband is cricket mad and I enjoy card making and scrapbooking in my spare time. Our whole family delight in fostering cats and kittens. We now have 4 of our own and a dog who feels outnumbered!

Why they chose this property

We have been holiday letting Bart Cottage since Christmas 2018 and it has been in our family for over 30 years. The house has a wonderful feel to it as you walk in and I love the convenient location. There is a spectacular Poinciana Tree at the front which would be close to 100 years old. The front patio is a lovely spot to sit and read a book or newspaper. We are open to rentals of 3 months to families if time frames are available.

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location!!! With a comfortable, cute house to boot. The yard is secure so pets considered. We have a patch of artificial grass in the backyard.
