Mareazul is a first world vacation rental concept "Resort Living". Located only 3 km from Playa del Carmen all units are beach accessible.

Great family spot

Apartment is as advertised. Unit is located at the back of the property, so it was very quiet as well. Personal concierge, communicating through WhatsApp, was fantastic and helped with taxi, answering questions and getting a small maintenance issue resolved in a few hours. The two restaurants on site had great food and drinks. There is an optional beach club on site, for a fee. There is a water sports activities hut on site as well. We rented SUP and Jet Ski from there which were great fun. We did a day snorkel trip which was a disaster and I would highly recommend snorkel or scuba from somewhere else. Only drawback from this location is needing a taxi to get anywhere and currently the cost is quite high. Overall, wonderful accommodation and staff!

This was such a wonderful place for our family to stay. We have two kids and they absolutely loved having their own room with their own bed! The unit was very clean and had nice furnishings. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and we had all the pots, pans and utensils we needed. The swim out pool was nice to have when one kid needed to rest, and an adult could still enjoy the water. The pool is amazing!! We only went into the ocean once, because there was quite a bit of seaweed. Talking with others, this seems like it is unusual at this time of the year. The beach area had everything we needed- chairs umbrellas and lounge chairs. The host was very responsive and helped with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. The house was beautiful I loved being able to open the doors all the way to the back of the property. The splash pool and garden vibe were peaceful... it’s about. 3-5 min walk to the main pool and beach ...the main pool was nice and big so you didn’t feel like you were on top on anyone in the pool and the beach was nice and pretty spa service were great... The best part how Miranda was so amazingly helpful. Would definitely stay again. If you use a lot of trash pack a bag or two to avoid having to buy any. We filled ours up after the third day but luckily we have plastic bags were about to use.

I had issues with construction people working outside the apartment early in the morning every day, one day they were working in the apartment's pool (inside the apartment) at 8 am it was a Monday and no one told me they were coming also the fridge was making a noise all day and night. I contacted the managers and were not responsive.The coffeemaker could be upgraded (too small).Other than that the apartment is great, In general the whole complex is impeccable, my kids loved the pool, the beach and the restaurant at the pool is amazing, the location is great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the unit primarily because of the pool in the balcony, we were disappointed to learn our rental unit we were given was no the one we rented. We were issued a unit upstairs 3rd floor with no access to an elevator. We then noticed our bedding was dirty or “stained” as they called it, we also had to request additional bedding (which was not available) due to only three beds and 5 guests one of my sons has to sleep on the couch with no blankets while their is a bunk bed in the “service room”It was not ready for our family’s use due to no bedding. The furniture on the balcony is way to big for the space and we had to move the bulky chairs out of the way to come outside. The location is near a mental sanatorium and a tagged up neighborhood - we did not feel safe, thePerson we dealt with was not professional or accommodating

Loved our stay at this property.

Clean rooms, spacious, safe area, our kids loved the pools and great access to the beach. It was nice having a washer and dryer in our own place. On-site restaurant was really good and reasonable. Host went above and beyond to help us out. Loved our stay here.
