I grew up in the Philadelphia area and graduated from Temple University majoring in Architecture. I currently live on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. We currently have 4 rental properties from Florida to New Jersey.
Ed purchased this House in 2006
Why Ed chose Ardmore/Gould Estates/Olin Heights
My daughter graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a masters in Architecture. She was the inspiration for the purchase of this house and lived here while attending college.
What makes this House unique
Paula Deen lived here during the mid 1990's and started here business as the bag lady. Working in her kitchen and sending Bobby and Jamie out on their bikes to serve bag lunches to the local businesses in downtown Savannah.

Really had a wonderful visit even though it rained the whole time there, we had a good visit.
We ate at Paula Dean's Seafood was fabulous and the Lady and Son's also wonderful. Great visit can't wait to come back. Thank you Ed you are awesome!
Our stay was great. House was clean, bright, and spacious. We were able to get to downtown within 15 minutes and the closest grocery store was down the street. Our only complaints are we wish the shrubs by the driveway were trimmed for easier access in/out of the car and the bedroom’s mattress by the kitchen seemed to be older/softer. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place. Thank you!
Lovely Easter weekend at the 'Paula Deen House'
Our family visited relatives in Savannah over a long Easter weekend and needed a second place to house our growing clan. The Paula Deen house was perfect for us. There were plenty of comfortable clean beds, a large living and dining area, and ample kitchen. The location in Midtown was just right for where the rest of the family was located. Nice neighborhood for the runners in the family and Coffee Deli nearby for our morning pleasure. We will definitely stay here again!
Great property and quiet location, lots of amenities
We loved our stay in Savannah! The home was very clean, had lots of extras such as shampoos, toiletries, an ice maker, very nice furnishings, and we felt right at home in this nice neighborhood. Also loved the backyard and privacy fence along with birds and squirrels. It was easy to check in and out. We did lots of things in the Savannah area such as river street, all the many squares, Forsyth Park, and ate at some great places. Also went to St Simon Island and various areas close to Savannah. We had excellent weather in February as it was unseasonably warm and in the 80's during our stay. Would highly recommend staying at this home in Savannah as it has a great location and is close to many things to do in the Savannah area. We appreciate being able to stay in such a lovely home!
Charming house...close to everythuling!
Charming home close to everything we wanted to visit and see in Savannah. Would stay here again! The king is the most comfortable bed...
great southern charm
upkeep was lacking a bit, trees needed trimming, musty smell in home.
Located within 7 minutes of the Historic District and River Street and a short drive to Tybee Island the house is is in a quiet neighborhood with free parking for 4 cars.
