¿Sabías que hay 2 volcanes en la ciudad de La Fortuna? La mayoría de los turistas solo escuchan sobre el Volcán Arenal, pero hay un segundo justo al lado.

Mi casa es de 2 dormitorios con excelentes vistas de la selva tropical de Costa Rica, justo al borde de la selva, y el majestuoso Volcán Arenal y el segundo Volcán Cerro Chato menos conocido.

Estoy emocionado de hacer de mi hogar tuyo mientras estás de vacaciones en la zona. Estás alquilando toda la cabaña mientras estás aquí ... Yo ni nadie más se quedará en la propiedad durante su estancia. Sin embargo, me pueden contactar si necesita algo, pero en su mayor parte está solo.

La cabaña está ubicada en la base del Volcán Arenal. Está a solo 9 minutos (2 minutos en un camino de tierra lleno de baches) del centro de la ciudad en La Fortuna, pero privado y aislado, pero a 5 minutos (1. 9 km) de una de las grandes tiendas de abarrotes en el área, y 3 minutos de la catarata La Fortuna.

Si quieres pájaros, los tenemos: colibríes, tucanes, oropéndolas Montezuma, enredaderas de miel y muchos, MUCHOS, muchos más.

Desea una vista del volcán, podría alcanzarla y tocarla.

Los monos aulladores se pueden escuchar con frecuencia pasando a solo 100 yardas de distancia. Si tienes suerte, podrás verlos trepar de árbol en árbol mientras se relajan comiendo y disfrutando del día.

Estoy constantemente ajardinando, así que hay MUCHAS plantas, árboles y flores para que disfrutes. Te ENCANTARÁ comer en el porche mientras la belleza de IS Costa Rica se mueve a tu alrededor. Doy de comer a los colibríes y disfrutarán de su desayuno mientras tú disfrutas el tuyo, divertido de ver, TAN TERRITORIAL. Y de noche, cuando el cielo está oscuro y no hay nada que ver más que negro. Puedes ver los cientos de luciérnagas deambulando en la distancia.

Hay una colmena de abejas (caja) en la parte posterior de la propiedad, y hasta la fecha, ningún inquilino ha tenido problemas con su existencia allí. Pero si usted es alérgico a las picaduras de abejas, pensamos que deberíamos informarle sobre ellas.

Esta casa de vacaciones se encuentra en La Fortuna, en un entorno rural y cerca de parques temáticos. Aguas termales de Baldi y Aguas termales Los Lagos son excelentes opciones para los que buscan unas vacaciones activas, pero si prefieres sumergirte en la naturaleza, Cascada La Fortuna y Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal son lo que necesitas. Arenal Adventure World (parque ecológico) y Puentes Colgantes del Arenal también merecen la pena. An amazing, secluded location with beautiful views of the Arenal volcano and close to downtown La Fortuna. Host was very responsive and even took the time to show us how to get to the cabin and gave us a tour of the cabin so we knew how everything worked. Highly recommend staying here for anyone traveling to this area!

It was an amazing house with fantastic views! We were there for three days and saw so many different varieties of plants and animals. The host was very kind and was sure to have everything you may need. His tour was detailed and very helpful. Secluded from the high traffic of the tourist strip, the home felt safe, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommend this amazing home for your next stay!

Beautiful home and surroundings. I recommend trying to arrive while it is light. We arrived in the dark on a rainy night. We lost service and it was difficult to meet property manager. Once we figured it out, all was good! The home is comfortable, well stocked and provides an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano

What a gem of a property. The ambiance of this place was top notch and a perfect getaway, just a few minutes outside of town. The porch was my sanctuary, overlooking Volcán Arenal with tons of plants and bird watching. The host, D’Angelo was super accommodating and welcomed me the day of check in, showing me around the place, and the best way to get there. Has everything you need in the kitchen, puzzles, games, books and yoga mats. I look forward to visiting again!

Though the place is well located, the view of Arenal Volcano is awesome when the weather works, and the host, D’Angelo was very responsive and helpful, we did find that the kitchen items (such as pots and utensils) had not been cleaned for some time and the beds have a foam topper that made the bed way too soft (we just removed it for our stay and put it back on before we left). However, D’Angelo was very apologetic and worked with us on everything, so I would still recommend the place, especially in dry season to maximize your chances of enjoying the view.

Our Favorite Rental in Costa Rica!

The house was clean, charming, and in a beautiful location. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the views outside calmed our souls. Our favorite part was sitting on the outside partial wraparound porch where we could see Arenal and TONS of birds. We saw toucans, parakeets, tanagers, trogons, and many more. D'Angelo was super helpful with giving us travel tips and was very responsive. I highly recommend this rental and would come back here again! Thank you for the memorable stay.

Wonderful Stay

The house is small but has everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the lovely deck watching the birds and clouds around the volcano and listening to the sounds of the jungle. D’Angelo was sweet and super responsive. We saw a sloth in our backyard! We only left this morning and we miss it already! Close to town but far enough away to feel in the country!

Nice home with an excellent view of the volcano. Only a couple minutes to town, but the feel of seclusion. Met the owner while checking in and he shared any and all information you may need about the home.

Pura vida

The property was beautiful! D'Angelo has cultivated a beautiful garden. It was great to sit and watch the comings and goings of volcano Arenal from our porch as the clouds came and went. We all really enjoyed having a secluded cabin to come relax in after a day of sight seeing. We were thankful to D'Angelo for leading us to the VRBO the first day and showing us all the features and how to manage temperature and bugs within the cabln. The one issue we had was managing the flow and temperature of the shower-we never did figure that out. Otherwise the cabin although some might call rustic was very relaxing and comfortable, we would stay there again.

Nice Rustic Cabin on a Beautiful Property

We enjoyed our stay here in La Fortuna. The cabin was cozy, well-appointed, and clean. The grounds had many exotic and beautiful trees, flowers, and colorful birds. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Jungle cabin

Nice house in a small neighborhood right in the middle of the jungle with easy access to la fortuna. Saw many birds, including toucans. We thought the neighbors had a sick donkey the first several days only to find out it was howler monkeys in the trees behind the property.

4-night stay at La Fortuna

The property owner was very easy to communicate with, through VRBO and later using Whatsapp. He gave clear directions on how to get to the house and gave us a tour of the property. The house is well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen items. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The views off the patio are amazing, Arenal Volcano fills your view on a clear day. There are dozens of species of birds in the gardens, the howler monkeys were heard early each morning, and a sloth was spotted in a tree on the neighboring property. The neighborhood is quiet, be advised that the neighbors are somewhat close, but are screened by the lush garden. Would stay here again.

Exactly as advertised

The place is great and as advertised. It’s rustic, but comfortable and in a great location. It made it very easy to get everywhere. We really enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around deck, drinking our coffee in the morning or listening to the rain at night. It was very rainy when we were there, which made it even more important to have a 4x4 in general, but especially getting down the neighborhood road (again, as advertised). D’Angelo was excellent. In addition to just setting us up for a nice stay at his place, he gave us some really good recommendations of things to do that enhanced our trip.

This is a very nice property but there are a couple of dozen little fixes required. Screens and doors do not fit snugly - so expect the odd gecko. The toaster was pretty finicky, the lock was a bit finicky. The water pressure was up and down quite a bit while we were there making showers quite challenging - nothing major - but it adds up. The biggest complaint is with the very dedicated rooster who takes his job very seriously. Also lots of barking dogs and a dirt bike next door that seems to run a few errands in the morning around 5 and then returns late. I feel like the price was high for what we experienced.

Great location, great accommodations

Loved the view of Volcano Arenal. Loved the quiet location, but close to town. Loved seeing the birds (20 species!) and hearing the howlers. Perfect!

My Favorite Place in Traveling for 1.5 years

A quaint cabin in nature. Is brighter, cleaner, and homier than the pictures show. I could live there for sure. D'Angelo was always helpful!!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cabin is surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The wrap around porch provides great views of the surrounding jungle and is a nice place to enjoy a morning coffee and watch the many tropical birds in the area. We are located in the back of a typical Costa Rica neighborhood. There is very little traffic because of that.
