About Terry Hoff
I have lived on Pedro point for over 30 years and I'm a professional artist, professor and furniture maker. I teach at a SF university and have a local studio. The art in the home is made by my friends and some of the furniture is also made by me, I also built the home in 1992 with two friends of mine, the home was designed by a SF architect. If there is any questions about the home, myself and the art, feel free to ask.
Terry Hoff purchased this House in 1992
Why Terry Hoff chose Pedro Point
Pedro Point is a special spot, located just 20 minutes south of San Francisco yet has a fell of being much further away. The natural beauty of this eclectic community with it's rich history I'm sure you will enjoy and come to love as much as me. All of the homes are different and most are custom built, lots of trees and meandering streets are everywhere to stroll on and take in the beauty of "the Point". There is plenty to be discovered in this special spot.
What makes this House unique
Walking, biking and public transportation are all within a few minutes. Linda Mar Park n Ride is a 10 minute walk and Samtrans 110, 112 and 118 take you directly to Bart. The coastal highway 1 is just down the hill, north to SF and the wine country or south to Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz is all there is you feel like driving. Everything is close yet you seem so far away.

Wonderful location, super cool house
Northern California coastal living with amazing views at every turn, yet 20 minutes away from San Francisco and an hour to the wine country. Everything is close, hustle of the city and the quiet and solitude of the coast, it is the best of both
The property is located on Pedro Point an historic location, with a rich history, from fishing to rum running and the Coastal Railroad. You are also close to destinations south along the coast, Princeton by the Sea is 15 minutes away, if you want a harbor experience with all of the local fresh fish available. Another few miles you are at Half Moon Bay, with its abundant supply of great food and shopping.
The home and property are are easy to get to and solitude and privacy await you from just two quick turns off the beautiful scenic Highway 1.
The neighborhood is artistic and eclectic with all the homes being different and unique, a real coast side neighborhood. Stroll around the neighborhood on your way to the beach, finding hidden treasures from small fishing village at the docks to the fantastic views of Shelter Cove and where San Pedro Creek runs into the ocean. You can see the Pacifica Pier from everywhere in the home, there you will find fishing and crabbing during those seasons or just an exhilarating ocean walk. The next bay north is Rockaway Beach, which is either a short drive or a nice 30 minute walk from the property, along the way you will pass the world famous Taco Bell on the beach and the small shopping center at the bottom of Pedro Point, there you will find La Playa the local Mexican cantina, NorCal the surf shop, High Tide restaurant, Grocery Outlet and On The Point, a small pizza joint. In Rockaway you will find the infamous Nick's and their great crab sandwiches with dancing and music on the weekends, across the street you will find the Moonraker, great views and fine dining. If you continue you to walk further north you can hike on the many trails in the old rock quarry and over to Sharp Park with amazing views and whale watching all along the way.
