I booked this little apartment room through Expedia
However, I did not receive check-in information. I had to search for it, and it turns out that it is through their subsidiary Vrbo.
I then had to download the Vrbo app to receive messages from the owner host
I think there should be better integration between Vrbo and Expedia
I shouldn’t be panicking and looking for emails and calling the host and looking through my Expedia inbox. Meanwhile, it’s actually on VRBO website app
The apartment itself was cheap and cheerful and had what we needed, including a good size fridge

Hi, We are Frank, Miguel And Noemi, originally from the Dominican Republic and currently managing several vacation rentals in Miami. We are passionate about hospitality and creating spaces where guests feel both comfortable and connected to the local culture. When we are not managing listings, we enjoy music, cycling, and good coffee.
Why they chose this property
I chose Little Havana because it’s one of the most authentic and culturally rich areas in all of Miami. The neighborhood is full of history, music, family-owned businesses, and that warm Latin spirit you can feel in the air. I love how walkable it is — from Cuban cafés and local markets to live music and cultural spots. There’s always something happening here, and guests get to truly experience the heart of the city, not just the tourist version.
What makes this property unique
What makes The Studio #6 special is its perfect balance of function, comfort, and cultural experience. It’s located just steps from the Marlins Stadium and immersed in the real Little Havana — a place filled with flavor, rhythm, and life. The studio is simple yet thoughtfully designed, ideal for short stays with everything a traveler needs. It’s also in a building with a local story — marked by the iconic rooster sculpture — and I’ve made sure every guest feels like they’re stepping into a space that’s clean, accessible, and welcoming.
