Detached Villa sleeps six with air con, wi-fi, private pool and wonderful views

The villa is always popular, with it's spectacular views and quiet location, though only a few minutes walk from the nearest supermarket. (Incidentally, we'll chase up our cleaners on the two items mentioned, we normally provide soap dispensers as a matter of course,)

Horizon pool with views over Nerja, the sea and the mountains - always very popular

Children always love our horizon pool, especially with such views across the valley and the mountains. We look forward to seeing Andrew and his family again at some future date.

Thanks very much for your review. The villa has some of the best views in Nerja., virtually a 360 degree panorama, especially from the top terrace, accessed from the two main bedrooms.

As previous reviews have testified, our villa is always very popular. We always try to respond as quickly as possible to guests concerns, especially on this occasion during our guests' visit, which co-incided with the one-in-a-lifetime storm which swept through the Costa del Sol.

Although in a quiet location, the villa is within easy reach of all the local amenities. The horizon pool, with its views across the villa, is ideal for children, especially with its easy access steps.

It's nice to hear our guests and their children were able to make full use of our re-tiled pool , into the first week of November. The prime location of our villa means guests are able to take full advantage of the warm, or even hot, late-season sun.

The villa is in a great situation and very popular. Our agent is always on hand to supply any extras, as required. We don't keep our spare blankets in the villa, as they take up too much guest storage space. Our air con units reverse to supply heat during colder spring nights. We were caught out with the sunbed covers, they don't seem to last more than a season and last year's ones were thrown out before this year's were purchased! We hope this didn't spoil the enjoyment of your holiday.

We are surprised at your three-star review, as we have never had such a low ranking. This weeks' guests have already thanked us, as we have taken care of a number of points raised. We do not advertise a mid-stay clean, it can be arranged if guests request one. We also have no control over the surrounding streets. The upstairs shower does not leak. If guests do not keep the curtain up against wall, then it will leak outside the bath, even if the curtain is kept within the bath. However, we are replacing it with a walk-in shower. We are unable to see any rotten wood downstairs, just staining of the skirting board around the door. The terrace does get dusty, the villa is at the top of the hill and get any wind which is blowing, however slight. We do get an element of wear and tear, especially in the summer and the previous guests had broken an outside chair and the parasol. These have now been replaced. The table and chairs were new in May. We do ask guests to contact our agents, who live five minutes from the villa and can take care of any problems. There should have been toilet rolls supplied and towels checked. There's always things which need attention and our guest information does say we will purchase extra inventory items if requested, so a butter knife and some extra small spoons could easily have been provided. Contractors repainted the outside terrace and exterior walls in May and we did much of the inside ourselves. The two sofas are less than one year old, the washing machine and television are both within warranty. To the best of our knowledge all other appliances (air con etc.) are working perfectly. Therefor, we completely disagree with the opinion that the villa is not in good condition -

La villa offre l'une des plus belles vues de Nerja, que l'on peut admirer même en se relaxant au bord de la piscine. C'est un quartier calme, offrant une excellente intimité sur nos deux terrasses, tout en étant à quelques minutes à pied d'un grand supermarché Mercadona. The villa enjoys some of the best views in the area, all seen from the horizon pool. With the loss of 'Sky-TV' on the Costa de Sol, we still keep a television fo those guests who wish to bring out an Amazon Firestick or Chromecast plug-in, and view through our free 4G internet, with speeds from 30-80Mb. Especially useful at either end of the main season, when the weather may not always be sunny.
