Villa Pheakon is a luxury villa located on the south coast of Cyprus and just a few minutes walk from the un- spoilt blue flag beach at Pissouri bay. Here you can find a good selection of tavernas and mini markets. The villa has been constructed in traditional Greek Island style, offering spacious accommodation throughout, Private swimming pool, private parking, high degree of privacy and views towards the bay. There are large areas for sunbathing on the terraces finished in local stone. The garden has been planted with a variety of colourful plants and shrubs and contains an imported built in BBQ. Free dedicated fibre Cyta Wi-Fi with internet UK TV.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the beautiful Villa Pheakon! It was our first time in Pissouri, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location with incredible views. It was the best location to stay meat Pissouri. Villa was comfortable, clean, modern and the owner reacted quick. We will come again… which is the best recommendation after a holiday!

Great Villa

We stayed for a week and all had a great time. The pool was amazing and the villa had everything you needed. We explored the area and there are lots of great places to eat in walking distance or even more a short drive.

Quiet and relaxing!

Great villa in a quiet village on the beach. The villa was very well equipped and the kids loved the pool. Reliable wi-fi for a few work calls. Will definitely be back again!

Fabulous villa with a really lovely view in a great location which felt very safe and private. The villa was spotlessly clean with everything we needed being provided. We loved the pool and the different outside seating areas with the sun loungers being wonderful for relaxation. Communictaion with Pete, the owner, was really good and check-in was easy thankfully as we arrived in the dark! As we were unable to get to the supermarket until the next morning, the food items that had been left for us were very welcome...thank you. We really liked Pissouri Bay as a location. It had a very laid back atmosphere with a lovely beach (pebbles) and we really enjoyed the walk along the beautfiul seafront and further along the coast. It's only about a 10 min drive to the local supermarket in Pissouri which had a good range of products. All in all, if you would like a really relaxing holiday, warm/hot temperatures and blue skies in a quieter area of Cyprus, but with the historical sites, walks along the coast and in the mountains, this is the place to be! We'll definitely be back!!

Total Relaxation

The villa totally exceed our expectations, it is private, very comfortable and equipped to an extremely high standard. The refurbished pool is absolutely excellent. The villa is in easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and supermarkets within the bay, not that we left it that much, being content to laze around the pool. Thanks to Denise and Pete for their assistance and obvious hard work from our initial enquiry to the holiday. Highly recommended, cant wait to return.

Good ... however:

We liked our stay in the apartement. Due to a communicated accidental breakage of a little item there was an extra bill at the end, which really exceded our expectations. Other than that, the villa can be recommended.

Good standard villa in a convenient location, lovely pool/outside area

Good communication with owners and clear instructions throughout. Well equipped villa, clean and welcoming on arrival. Enough kitchen utensils to enable home cooking if required. However local restaurants all a short walk away, good standard of food and very reasonably priced - so no need to cook unless you really want to. Good BBQ area , but didn’t use it. Only area for improvement would be air conditioning in main bedroom - very noisy and on a timer which ran out during the night.

A very private lovely villa

After a bug hiccup with the original booking due to a relationship issue, Pete was super supportive and helped me to move the booking to a future date. Arriving at the villa, it was clear this is a very private villa. Not overlooked in any direction. A wonderful outdoor space,, and open plan kitchen / diner / living room. Very good sized bedrooms, and very well stocked. A lovely welcome pack of wine, and food items like milk, bread etc was left as we arrived late evening. A very inique place is you want some privaxy. A very short walk to the beach and restaurants (about 5 mins). Will absolutely consider going again. Thank you!

A marvellous stay

We had a lovely holiday at Villa Pheakon. The villa is clean, light, modern and well equipped. We arrived late to find a very useful welcome pack which Pam, the local manager for the villa, provided. She popped in the first morning to welcome us and was always available to contact should there be a need. There is very efficient air conditioning (on timers) with the added bonus of ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well. The private pool was very clean and inviting and we enjoyed lovely morning swims. The sun did disappear by about 4 pm, but maybe this was due to our visit being later in the year. Excellent communications from the owners, Denise and Pete, who provided detailed instructions prior to our arrival and had also produced a comprehensive guide to all the facilities in the villa itself. Would recommend a car. A good time was had, many thanks. Val and Joe

Villa Pheakon is brilliantly located with great views in an up-and-coming area of Cyprus. It’s well equipped, easy to find with dedicated parking, it’s also spacious and offers a high degree of privacy. The welcome guide is comprehensive, super-useful and on arrival we found milk, ham, cheese, wine and other essentials which we felt were a really nice touch, particularly given that there was nothing open when we arrived late at night. We made use of the facilities including the kitchen and the barbecue. The bathrooms have been refitted and are nicely finished. There are some parts of the property that feel a little tired; a couple of the dining room chairs where held together with sellotape, one of the air conditioning units was changed while we were there; another one in the front room was largely ineffective. There was also an issue with the pool top up valves not working correctly, and the water level being too low, this was also dealt with as part of the twice weekly routine maintenance at the property. The most concerning thing for us, however, was the presence of a cockroach in the kitchen cupboard, which I made Pete aware of. He advised that this is not unusual in hot countries and that the complex is treated regularly. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Cyprus and we found Pissouri to be a welcoming area, with lots to do and in easy reach of both Paphos and the Troodos Mountains.

Thank you for booking Villa Pheakon. We agree the location is perfect and is central when exploring Cyprus. We were pleased that you made use of many facilities available at the villa. We take onboard your feedback about the dining room chairs and it will be addressed on our next visit. Your comments re the pool top up have been sent to Pooltec. There is an island wide shortage of water in Cyprus this summer due to lack of rain and things like auto fillers have had to be set accordingly to avoid wasting water.Hence the pools are manually topped up during visits. On the morning of your arrival Pam noticed that the kitchen air con was leaking and rather than inconveniencing you with repairs arranged for new new unit to be installed the following morning, All of the ac units had been cleaned and serviced in June and he left saying you won't have any problems over the summer. Famous last words! Being a hot country, cockroaches are one of the pests in Cyprus and despite regular treatment the odd one sometimes escapes. Sorry you found one. This was the perfect holiday home for is in this location

We've been lucky enough to have stayed in villas in lots of fantastic places. All of them had their plus and minus points but Villa Pheakon in Pissouri Bay worked just perfectly for us. The location is far enough away from the little resort to make it very quiet but close enough to walk comfortably for an evening meal. The fact that it has adjoining properties on either side worried us but the staggered layout meant that we didn't see anyone for the whole 10 days we were there, it felt secluded. The external layout round the pool was great, plenty of loungers, chairs and tables. Nice BBQ and breakfast area and a good sized pool. The house itself was perfect. It felt like a home, comfortable sitting area with ample space. Well fitted kitchen with everything you need, good sized bedrooms (beds a little too hard for me but that's a personal thing), good shower rooms. Pete was very helpful when I called him because I couldn't get the wifi on (my stupidity). The whole place was l;aid out to welcome us and keep us comfortable during the stay. We'll be back

Fantastic Villa

An extremely clean & well kept modern villa that really does have everything you need for your stay! even cool bags & ice packs. A welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, cheese, bacon & a bottle of wine is provided for your arrival which is great especially if you arrive late in the evening. Wifi is available at the villa which was great for our teenagers! Amazing views from the patio & especially from the master bedroom balcony. The pool is a good size, with lilos & inflatables provided. It is well maintained, the pool man visits twice a week. Papantoniou supermarket ( about 10 minute drive) has a good selection of provisions and it is cheaper than the smaller supermarkets in Pissouri Bay. The beach is only a 15 minute walk away. It is a pebbly beach, I would advise beach shoes as walking to the sea from your sunlounger was uncomfortable. Wifi is available at the beach. At the 'Yellow Ocean' sunbeds you are given a bowl of water to clean your sandy feet. There is a guide in the villa of places to eat which we found useful. It is very reasonable priced to eat in Pissouri Bay & also Pissouri village. There are lots of lovely Tavernas to choose from. Great communication with the owners, Denise & Pete. They answered all our questions before our travel & sent us detailed directions to the villa from the airport. We would most definately highly recommend this Villa. We look forward to visting Villa Pheakon very soon.

Schönes Objekt,geräumig für 3bis 4Personen. Ordentliche Betten. Wirklich alles da was man braucht Sinnvolle Elektrik mit ausreichend Adapter.Meerblick nicht so toll wie angepriesen,aber auch nicht vermisst.Geografische Lage gut für Fahrt zu diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten und auch Stränden.

Allt med det praktiska funkade jätte bra. Stort tack till Pete och Denise att de fyllde upp kylskåpet med frukost artiklar då vi anlände sent. Tack också för det fina födelsedags kortet och flaskan med Prosseco jag fick i 50-års present! Vi hyrde ingen bil men taxi service Loucas och hans son Nicolas funkade perfekt. Underbara människor. Det fanns det mesta vi behövde nere i Pissouri bay men större utbud uppe i Pissouri Village. Villan hade allt vi behövde och en underbar pool. Kommer vi tillbaka så hyr vi den igen. Pete och Denise har varit väldigt bra hyresvärdar!

Tolle, perfekt eingerichtete Villa

Die Villa Phaekon ist sehr großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen individuellen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Check-in Informationen, die wir von Pete und Denise bekommen haben, waren sehr ausführlich. Einen besonderen Dank für den gefüllten Kühlschrank, der spät ankommende Gästen wie uns einen gute Nacht Happen, einen gute Nacht Trunk und ein Frühstück ermöglichten, ohne vorher einkaufen zu müssen. Pissouri Bay ist eine perfekte Ausgangsbasis, um den Süden der Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Zypern in der Villa Phaekon sehr genossen.

We consider ourselves very privileged to have homes in two idyllic locations, Cornwall (England) and Pissouri (Cyprus). Pete is now retired after 42 years working in customer service and Denise has also recently retired.
Denise first visited Pissouri several years ago and always knew it was a place she would like to return to. Later when her daughter and son-in-law were stationed at Akrotiri, Pissouri was the obvious place to return to. Having previously looked for a holiday home elsewhere, we found exactly what we wanted in Pissouri Bay on the last day of our holiday! It is furnished and maintained to a high standard. We have a committed team maintaining the villa who all live in Pissouri, sharing our desire that everybody staying at Villa Pheakon has the best holiday possible.
