Wonderful peaceful country home

This is an amazing property in a peaceful location surrounded by stunning countryside. Our check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook and eat easily without having to go out anywhere. Be advised that because of the stunning and remote location, a car is essential. Loved it!

Fantastic villa in beautiful surroundings

This year was our second stay at Casa Matilda. The house itself is fantastic, lots and lots of space and very well maintained. The swimming pool is huge which is fantastic as this is where we were spending most of our time. It's a 5 minute drive up the hill to the small town of Penna San Giovanni. Here you'll find everything you need; restaurant, bakery, bar, supermarket etc. It's a beautiful village, also incredibly friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area is simply stunning. We're looking forward to returning to Casa Matilda soon. It's an amazing place to stay and relax.

This is a fantastic, huge farmhouse in a very peaceful area surrounded by beautiful countryside. The swimming pool is huge and it was amazing to swim and spend lazy days around. Check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The farmhouse and pool were spotlessly clean, and the kitchen and barbecue area allowed us to cook and eat easily.It's a 5-minute drive up to the small town of Penna San Giovanni which has everything you need - a restaurant, bar, supermarket etc. It's a beautiful village; everyone was incredibly friendly and keen to help. It's an amazing place to stay and unwind, waking up to the birds singing in the morning. I can definitely, highly recommend staying here.10/10. Thank you

Wir hatten sehr schöne zwei Wochen in der Casa Matilda, das Haus und der Pool sind wirklich schön, wenn auch einige Sachen langsam in die Jahre kommen, Die Plastikliegen sollten ersetzt werden, die sind teilweise kaputt und ziemlich unbequem. Gerade für unsere zwei Omis, war das schwierig. Leider hat auch die Waschmaschine während unseres Aufenthalts schlapp gemacht, aber man muss wirklich sagen, Emma ist super hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar! Sie hat auch den Flughafentransport für einige von uns übernommen! Die Gegend ist wirklich extrem steil und man liegt ganz unten im Tal, das sollte man wissen: da braucht man schon ein passendes Auto und einen guten Einkaufsplan! Wer wirklich Ruhe will, findet hier einen tollen Platz!

Vacances à la Casa Matilda

Nous avons passé deux belles semaines. La maison est spacieuse. Le paysage est très beau, les routes un peu moins. C'est tranquille. Merci à Emma qui nous a bien guidés tout au long du séjour.

Super Urlaub am Pool

Der Urlaub hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Vor allem der Pool war ein Highlight! Die Umgebung ist sehr schön mit typisch italienischen Bergdörfern. Auch das Meer ist nicht weit. Insgesamt ein traumhafter Urlaub in bella Italia. Danke für alles.

La casa e la piscina sono molto belle, amplie e confortevoli, meriterebbero peró di una pulizia piu accurata. Il proprietario é stato molto disponibile e cortese; la ragazza che si occupa del ceck-in anche. La posizione è abbastanza isolata e immersa nel verde. I giochi per bambini non sono molto fruibili rispetto alle foto e avremmo preferito esserne a conoscenza al momento della prenotazione. Quando siamo arrivati mancava un letto, ma probabilmente non ci siamo capiti. È l'ideale per famiglie, i bambini possono correre e sentirsi liberi e autonomi. I

Like a home from home

Casa Matilda was everything we had hoped for and more. It's location, size, character and charm. A real family friendly property set in a wonderful valley just a stones throw away from Penna San Giovanni, which dons some lovely restaurants and shops as well as fantastic views. My family and I absolutely loved staying here for our week in August. The spaciousness of the place, the amazing climate and not to forget a swimming pool to die for. Already re-booked for 2016 as my children often talk about their fond memories of their stay at Casa Matilda.
