Great place, great location for resort bars, restaurants and the shop, aircon in both bedrooms and living room. Would almost certainly book again, great communication with owner and seemless key handover on arrival 5 star.

Excellent holiday

We spent 3 weeks in this comfortable house with everything you need for a great holiday. The resort is great. Nice restaurants and bars, great swimming pools. Not far from the sea side. Beautiful region. Will definitely come back soon !

Excellent villa

We had a wonderful family holiday at this villa which had everything we needed. La Torre is a superb setting for a relaxing holiday. The key holder, Vicki, was so helpful. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

Super location!

This is a brilliantly located villa for the supermarket & town centre, they are both a 5 minute walk away. The villa is well equipped with everything you need. Vicky the Keyholder was very friendly & helpful. The area was lovely & quiet & we were not disturbed.

We were very happy with the townhouse, it was in a good location with a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and roughly the same to the town centre. Inside the property there was everything required for a comfortable stay. Two basic bathrooms but they were clean and the showers over the bath were decent enough, nice outdoor area accessible from the upstairs bedroom and great for unobstructed sunbathing all day as the outdoor area had no other properties blocking the view. There was also wi-fi in the house which was ideal. Kevin the owner was on the ball and communications were great, he sent all the infornation required before check in and we even got in at 11am when it should have been 1pm, big thanks to Vicki for this as she was waiting at the property when we arrived in the taxi. Overall it was a very straight forward and pleasant experience and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Kevin and Vicki once again.

Fantastic holiday with my family

The property was well appointed and close to the communal pool, resort spar shop and “town” which had a selection of restaurants and Bar options and ice cream vender. Vicki the local agent was great at communicating and very welcoming when we arrived. The home had a range of chairs and beach essentials to entertain. Having a washing machine meant light packing was possible. Husband took his road bike ( you can hire locally) and made good use of the service (Minor)roads around the area finding local cafes that were happy to serve cyclists in their sweaty state!

Great Holiday

We had a great 10 day stay in this lovely house. It has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The personal touches, such as beach towels, sports equipment, coolie box and pool toys were very much appreciated. The house is located in a quiet area of the resort, but only a 5 minute walk from the centre, where there is a well stocked supermarket and a couple of restaurants & bars. The resort is ideally located to explore the local area. You do need a car, but the driving is easy and it is only a short drive to the beaches and other local attractions, such as the water park and zoo in Murcia, Murcia City and the beautiful town of Cartegena. The resort was fairly quiet, with numerous pools, a couple of tennis courts and well kept communal areas. Kevin's communication was great and he provided all the information we asked for before and after the trip. Would highly recommend and would love to re-visit.

Lovely and spacious house in quiet street.

This is a beautiful house; really clean, modern and well presented with everything you could need for a week or two. We were met at La Torre as planned and were welcomed to the property and had everything explained to us. Had a slight plumbing problem which was dealt with really quickly and with no hassle. La Torre is a great complex for a family holiday and has lots to do and is just the right balance of quiet and buzz. Pools are lovely and good bars/restaurants. Only issue was the smell from the adjacent farmer’s field which prevented us from using the terrace at times. Not sure if we were just unlucky with this during the week we were there. Apart from that it was great.

Superb Views

This is our third visit to this house, it has a good location being quiet yet close to the centre for restaurants etc. Being on the very edge of the complex the west facing upper terrace is superb with views over farmland to distant mountains and fabulous sunsets. Car hire was essential for us as we like to explore, our favourite beach being at Torre de la Horadada and the cities of Murcia and Cartagena a must, all within an easy drive. Booking was easy, everything explained by Kevin, the local keyholders (Brian and Celia) met us and showed us around the house, we had their contact details if any problems (none). Stayed 10 days early September and the weather was fantastic, even hotter than on our previous visits. Kevin provides some useful information sheets he has written of the area but perhaps a visitor’s book would be useful so we could pass on our tips and read others. Will return.

For the price paid I would have expected top quality rather than average to poor

On meeting the property manager was told that previous occupants had "trashed the place" so filled us with a sense of trepidation. The downstairs toilet had been damaged and was out of action and the downstairs shutter had stopped working and been removed. Toilet was fixed within a day, but shutter was not fixed. Note property manager was very helpful and assisted with this and other issues when electricity went off and when the door lock began sticking leaving us feeling we were going to be locked out. So came and improved with application of WD40. The main bedroom double bed was two single mattresses with extremely ill fitting mattress protectors and sheets, which did not aid a good nights sleep and consequent moods (same applied to downstairs beds). Don't get me wrong, the place was not terrible but given the cost I had previously paid less for a superior property in size and quality at La Torre we were a bit disappointed. I understand that its a couple of years since we last visited La Torre due to Covid and booked quite late for the same reason, but would have expected better. It was good to see that the site overall was more vibrant with new bars and resteraunts,

Nous avons passé de belles vacances à la Torre, nous aimons beaucoup cet endroit. La maison de Kevin y est bien située à proximité du centre commercial et des restaurants. Et Kevin est quelqu’un de charmant avec qui la communication a été bonne.Par contre nous avons été déçus par certains points notamment la literie de la chambre adulte. Nous avons douté de la propreté des draps puisqu’il y avait des taches de sang dessus. Un placard dans la cuisine pour ranger l’alimentaire serait un plus. Il manque une cafetière et quelque chose pour faire des grillades. Les deux transats à l’étage sont cassés et inutilisables. La Clim de la chambre du haut fuit beaucoup. Lorsque nous avons souhaité l’utiliser il a fallu mettre un seau d’eau en dessous. Ce sont quelques points à améliorer qui permettrait de se sentir très bien chez Kevin.

Het was een mooi verblijf,wel zijn er dingen aan vervanging toe in het huisje. Het contact met Kevin en Vicky is heel goed. Het park is heel mooi, rustig en heel netjes. Naast de zwembaden en het golfen is er weinig te doen op het park. De ligging is wel mooi. Binnen een half uur Murcia en Cartagena en met een 20 minuten in San Javier.

Semaine relaxante au soleil

Superbe semaine de vacances dans le logement de Kevin qui s'est montré très disponible et avec qui la communication etait parfaite. La maison est très agréable et le resort dans lequel elle est située est vraiment magnifique et parfaitement entretenu. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cet emplacement privilégié et les moments de détente sur le solarium. Petit point à ameliorer: la qualité de la literie de la chambre principale mais rien d'alarmant. Sinon la maison est parfaitement aménagée et très agréable pour passer un sejour reposant et parfaitement située pour de nombreuses visites aux alentours.

Erholsame Ferien in sehr schönem Haus in ruhiger, sicherer Umgebung mit vielen Möglichkeiten

Wir waren bereits zum vierten Mal im La Torre Golf Resort und haben es noch nie bereut. Es gibt dort alles - einen Supermarkt und andere Geschäfte, Restaurants, jede Menge Swimming Pools, Golfplätze, Sportanlagen und vieles mehr. Das Townhouse liegt am Rande des Golfresorts in einer sehr ruhigen Straße. Man hat einen Blick auf die weiten Felder und die Berge dahinter. Es ist wie eine kleine Stadt. Zwei Zufahrtsstraßen führen über eine Schranke in das Golfresort. Das Haus hat alles, was Sie brauchen, um sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen: eine saubere und voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Herd und Backofen, usw. Die 2 vorhandenen Bäder sind ideal, wenn Sie mit der Familie hier Urlaub machen. Wohnzimmer und beide Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert, Wifi ist natürlich vorhanden - und wurde während unseres Aufenthalts auf Glasfaser aufgerüstet, so dass es jetzt genügend Bandbreite gibt. Es gibt auch eine große Terrasse mit Aussicht. Im Sommer empfiehlt es sich jedoch, diese abends zu nutzen, da es tagsüber dort sehr warm ist. Und es gibt eine Waschmaschine für die schmutzige Wäsche. Wir fanden es übrigens sehr nett, dass wir die Campingstühle für den Strand benutzen durften. Man braucht hier ein Auto und kann dann in ein paar Minuten entweder an die Küste fahren, z.B. zum Mar Menor oder zu anderen Sandstränden des Mittelmeers. Oder Sie fahren nach Murcia, einer stetig wachsenden Stadt der gleichnamigen Region. Ein Bummel durch das Stadtzentrum lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, ebenso ein Besuch der zahlreichen Restaurants, Bars und Cafés. Und wer unbedingt einkaufen möchte, wird hier fündig - im Stadtzentrum oder in einem der riesigen Einkaufszentren am Rande der Stadt. Und wer noch mehr entdecken will, so wie wir, der kann in die Hafenstadt Cartagena fahren, eine Stadt mit einer großen Geschichte. Wir möchten uns auch beim Eigentümer Kevin und auch bei Vicky, unsere Kontaktperson vor Ort bedanken. Wir hatten zu Beginn einen Defekt an der Spülmaschine. Die beiden haben sich sofort um eine Reparatur gekümmert und waren auch sonst immer erreichbar. Auch das Problem mit dem Wlan-Zugang wurde sofort gelöst. Der Router hatte sich auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt. So etwas kann halt überall passieren. Auf jeden Fall waren es tolle Tage und durch die Einschränkungen der letzten Monate wegen der Corona-Krise waren wir super happy, diesen Urlaub gehabt zu haben. Daumen hoch!

Clean, fresh, quiet location but convienient for resort centre, great views as is on edge of resort

This is the 6th time we have used this house, we find the location quiet and relaxing for our September holiday and convenient for visiting the beach and the cities of Murcia and Cartagena. The house has been refurbished since our last visit it now feels new again as it did 8 years ago, also the resort is noticeably well maintained and feels fresh. Vicky is the local contact and is very helpful and prompt although we did not have any issues to require her assistance after our arrival. The new airport at Corvera will be just as near as San Javier if not nearer (we drove past it). Still enjoyed the views and the sunsets from the terrace, we will be back.

Beautiful, well presented villa. Ideal for families or couples.

Just back from 9 days in La Torre resort. The villa was spotless and beautiful. It is positioned on the outer boundary line of La Torre but in easy walking distance to the many pools and 'village' centre. Our only small complaint is that quite a few restaurants (and the ice cream parlour) have been closed down. Having said that, the ones that are open are excellent. We particularly loved La Roble Tapas Restaurant. La Torre is a clean, peaceful resort (We felt very safe day or evening). It's certainly more family/couple suited. This villa had everything you could possibly need and we were met by the extremely friendly (and patient - we got lost on the way from the airport) Vicki. After evenings out we lit candles on the roof terrace and relaxed with a drink. What more could you want after a hard day swimming (in one of the many pools) and laying in the sun. A perfect place to relax and unwind from every day life. Loved it and would be happy to recommend to others.

A lovely stay

We had a great time at this townhouse in the La Torre resort. The house itself is clean and spacious, with lovely outside spaces, and it is well equipped with everything you might need, from bottle openers to pool toys! It is close to bars and restaurants but still peaceful. Highly recommended

This was our second visit, another great holiday! We ventured out and about more this visit, the zoo in Murcia is fab and Cartegena by train was easier than driving! The house and location was as good as last year, probably the best position on the whole resort. Would recommend and go again! Owner Kevin great to deal with!

Relaxing holiday

We enjoyed our stay in the villa which is in a very good location on site and spent a lot of time on the sun terrace! It was an easy stroll to the supermarket for essentials like fresh bread and wine! The Italian restaurant is worth a visit or two. La Torre was a good base to visit the many local beaches and further afield Mar Menor and Cartagena for some culture, shopping and people watching at the port. Air con appreciated - it was hot for the whole 10 days.

Property bought off-plan in 2004 and then waited until 2007 for it to be completed. Eventually, everything that we had hoped for on this excellent self-contained golf resort. The beautiful region of Murcia has so many interesting areas and some of the most beautiful beaches and safest sea in all of Spain. Perfect for a family.
