Located in the heart of Downtown Dunedin. The best of everything! New construction offers convenience, quality and security for a wonderful experience. Full-sized gourmet kitchen with granite counters, and stainless appliances, spa-like large bathrooms, full-size washer and dryer and top of the line furnishings will ensure a visit that will make return visits something you will want to do regularly. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and double vanities. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed. The living room and both bedrooms have new televisions and satellite Dish TV. High-speed internet access is included and the unit has individually controlled central heat and air conditioning as well as ceiling fans throughout. This condo is located on the second floor of a mixed use commercial building and has two retail shops downstairs. We love the shops and think you will enjoy them, too. One is a ladies' clothing store and the other features unique home decor. Walk this quaint community filled with the best restaurants, local breweries and bars, and enjoy live entertainment. Visit the marina, walk or bike the Pinellas Trail, enjoy Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands Beach, shop the locally owned retail businesses and galleries and see why Dunedin is consistently touted as one of the best walking communities, places to retire, and cities in Florida. There is no better place to experience Dunedin for a quick getaway, snowbird retreat or as a festival destination. You'll enjoy what our community has to offer year round and be impressed with the lively streets during 2nd Friday Night on the Town, Weekend Farmers Market, Mardi Gras, St. Patty's Day, Cinco de Mayo and Wines the Blues. About René and John Johnson

We love Dunedin and are very active in the community. It has been our dream to live, work and play in Downtown Dunedin and in 2015 we made that dream come true. My husband is retired military and has traveled the world and when I found Dunedin we knew we found our final home. We have owned several businesses on Main Street (retail and restaurants) and now we get to be in the thick of it to soak up daily life here. In November we completed our mixed use project on Main Street and couldn't be prouder or happier with the result.

Why René and John Johnson chose Dunedin

We designed our building to fit the downtown core and it fits right in with its' Spanish exterior styling, decorative tile, and front patio with large fountain and gathering space. The building incorporates Florida Green Building Council's recommendations and is energy efficient and built to stand the test of time. The downstairs has two retail shops that are fantastic with friendly owners and staff. The first floor features a private residential entry that can be accessed from the front or back of the building. We built the building with an elevator so that we'd always have full accessibility as we get older. The residential hallway and lobby area welcomes our visitors to our home and we're sure you will enjoy coming home to it, too. I still need to take some pics of the "Opium Den", as I affectionately call it. No Opium there - but, it is designed to create an exotic feeling when you come in and you may want to linger in the alcoves to have a cocktail or play the piano before you come upstairs. It's cozy and really gives another living space to share with your guests when they come to visit while you are in Dunedin. All of the rooms in the building are open and large. We hope you will enjoy your stay here and do what many other visitors to Dunedin do - come for a bit then extend your stays longer each time until you decide that Dunedin is your full-time home, too.

What makes this condo unique

Feel like listening to some live music? The options are many and as close as next door or as far as a 5 minute walk.

Want great restaurants? You will love the kitchen but may never want to use it. There are so many great locally owned choices within walking distance.

Don't want to drive? You don't need to! Take a cab or Uber from the airport and then don't think about it until it's time to go home. Everything you really need is within blocks from your front door.

Things to do? If you are bored here your own fault. Dunedin is known for it's many world class festivals and night life. Take the Jolly Trolley from the front of the building to Safety Harbor, Clearwater Beach, Palm Harbor or Tarpon Springs if you want to venture out.

Wonderful owners, wonderful town, wonderful unit!!

We recently spend several weeks with Rene and John in their lovely condo in Dunedin. And we had a great stay!!! They were friendly, helpful and responsive. We couldn't have asked for better owners.

The location on Main Street is ideal since you can walk to almost everything you want or need. We enjoyed the shops, restaurants, and special events in Dunedin, including Mardi Gras. The location is also very accessible to the Tampa Bay Area .

We are already looking forward to our visit next year!!

Spectacular Stay

After viewing the photos on HomeAway we expected a top notch property but Renee’s vacation rental was even more spectacular than advertised. The place was immaculate and all the furnishings were first rate. Access to the downtown shops, restaurants and marina made this one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations we’ve ever had. We have family close by, so the central location in the Clearwater area made driving to visit them very convenient for us but if you wished you could just park your car and use the trolley or ferry to get to Downtown Clearwater, Clearwater Beach or a number of other neighboring communities. Being from NY where everything is so expensive, the fee for the property seemed very reasonable. If you plan on visiting the area, I recommend this property very highly!! You won’t be sorry. Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

This condo is perfectly located in downtown Dunedin, it is modern, clean and well appointed. Hosts had provided us with everything we needed in the place. It is within walking distance of several great restaurants. White sandy beaches were a short drive away. We traveled with kids and they enjoyed the provided board games and eating breakfast at the well-equipped kitchen.

Absolutely wonderful stay!

We had the perfect long weekend getaway in this beautiful condo! I simply can't say enough good things about this place and the wonderful owners. This condo is so comfortable and superbly detail is overlooked.

When we arrived, we found reserved parking spaces right behind the building. No searching for safe parking, because it is right outside of the back door, and completely visable from the condo. Upon entering the building, we found ourselves in a charming Far East inspired reception room, complete with a water feature and antique statues of Chinese warriors. A private elevator takes you to your door. The condo is large and homey. No need for carrying have an access code for entry on all the doors. Renee is available for any questions and is very accommodating. She sent us all the information on the app prior to arrival. The bedrooms are very roomy, well decorated and incredibly comfortable. The master bathroom is comparable to a spa. Fabulous, large shower. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes. The living room is roomy and comfortable as well. Spotlessly clean everywhere! This condo is centrally located and we walked everywhere....we only moved our car one time in 3 days...and that was to drive to the grocery store. Restaurants, bars, entertainment, parks, and shopping were all very nearby. We enjoyed the lovely balcony in the evening with a glass of wine. This property had it all, and we loved it! This will certainly be our first choice when we return to Dunedin. Thank you again Renee and John. We had a wonderful stay!

Amazing Space! Great Location!!!

Property was beautiful and CLEAN! Rene was an amazing host and this truly was the best HomeAway experience by far. Dunedin is a fun town and this condo is right in the middle of it. We will definetly be returning in the future!
