Lovely stay in Tourettes Sue Loup

Villa and pool were perfect size for our large party. In a quiet, remote location. Some maintenance issues but were quickly resolved by owners and property manager. Everything we needed was provided. We loved the area and had an amazing holiday!

Amazing!

We cannot wait to go back, the only downfall was we didn't book it for longer. Beautiful views and lovely area. Isy was lovely and answered any questions we had. We even had a bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely touch after a long drive. Everything was perfect, it was clean and spacious. The pool was a massive hit with our four children , (15,8,9,0). The scenery is stunning! Beautiful food in the local area. Denise was great through the whole booking process We will definitely be back next year. Thankyou for letting us stay at your beautiful villa and making a lifetime of memories.

Lovely stay at the Cygnes Sauvages

We had a wonderful two week stay at the Cygnes Sauvages. Communication with the owner and the local property manager was smooth and efficient. The first week of our say we were three generations of six adults and the second week just three people. The house accommodated six people perfectly well. The driving instructions provided were perfect including the heads up about the required two-point turn. The roads in the immediate vicinity are very small but the locals were extremely nice about yielding to us in almost all instances. We highly recommend the restaurant Spelt in the village of Tourettes-sur-Loup and the hike in the Gorge du Loup near the Confiserie Florian. The beach is were easily accessible. The Cap d’Antibes for hiking and swimming were our favorites. We thoroughly enjoyed the area. We have avoided it in the summer for years because of the coastal crowds, but our last half of August stay was perfect in terms of weather, traffic and crowds. We highly recommend the area and the house.

Zomervakantie 2024

We hebben een heerlijke 2 weken gehad in dit huis en vooral erg genoten van het heerlijke zwembad. Erg vriendelijk ontvangen door Isabelle. Groot voordeel vonden wij dat ze heel goed Nederlands verstaat, waardoor communicatie heel gemakkelijk was. Het huis was keurig schoon en alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Punten ter verbetering: De bedden benedenzijn aan vervanging toe, deze zijn doorgezakt en je voelt de veren er doorheen prikken. Bij ons was het erg warm (tot 37 graden), dan mis je een plek om onder de bomen te zitten, voor het huis en op het super grote balkon kan je wel in de schaduw zitten maardaar was het dan nog erg heet. Vooral beneden in het huis bleef het ook met deze temperaturen behoorlijk koel waardoor je binnen de airco niet echt mist. Let op als je ‘s avonds laat of ‘s nachts nog naar buiten gaat, ,in omgeving lopen dan veel wilde zwijnen, ondanks de goeie hekken rondom het terrein weten deze onder de hekken door te kruipen, wij stonden daardoor een keer oog in oog met een groep wilde zwijnen, vooral met honden kan dit gevaarlijke situaties geven.

Villa in den Bergen

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen verlebt. Ruhige Lage, gut gepflegtes Schwimmbad, Zufahrt mit großen Autos schwierig. Großes Haus, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Nette Betreuung vor Ort. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.

Séjour inoubliable !

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables dans la maison, qui était tout à fait adaptée à nos besoins : une grande piscine, des espaces de jeu, de quoi faire un barbecue et prendre l'apéritif ! Que demander de plus ? La maison était très propre et bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Mais il a fait si chaud cet été ! Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'air conditionné (mais il paraît qu'il a fait exceptionnellement chaud!) Et quel calme, quelle tranquillité ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ! Merci aussi à Izy, qui est venue nous voir.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus. Es ist sehr ruhig und abgelegen. Die Außenanlage und Pool hat uns super gefallen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ( zB. die Betten) und könnte eine Erneuerung gebrauchen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett.

Schönes urigen Haus

Das Haus war wie beschrieben, der Kontakt mit der Person vor Ort war nett und reibungslos. Ich war mit dem Objekt sehr zufrieden. Wenn man mit einer guten Gruppe verreist kann man sich in diesem Haus sehr wohl fühlen. Meinen Ansprüchen hat es genügt, es ist aber keine Luxusunterkunft, sondern eher rustikal.

Le logement n'était pas propre à notre arrivée, de surcroit on nous demande un supplément de 120 € en liquide, pour le sois disant "ménage" (que nous avons fait nous même), c'était plus propre à notre départ ...

Hi Stephen, I'm disapointed that you felt the need to comment negatively on our Villa. You advise that the Villa was unclean on arrival, I would appreciate if you could be more specific and I will raise this with the cleaning company. In respect of the 120 euros charge which you thought was for cleaning, whereas in fact and as previously advised to you this was for the hire of Linen and Towels if requested. You requested Linen for 6 persons x 20 euros each, total 120 euros. There is no cleaning charge, this is included in the rental. Villa vieillie et mal entretenue.

L’endroit est superbe, mais la description ne correspond plus à la réalité. La villa est vieillie et mal entretenue. Il n’y a qu’une salle de bains (au lieu de 3) avec une douche déplorable. Les autres ‘salles’ sont des toilettes. Une plaque de cuisson ne fonctionne pas, le four très pauvre. Des cousins déchirés en terrasse, une grande fissure tout le long de la piscine et la palissade en bois est dangereuse. Le lit d’une personne est trop petit. Bref, il manque un grand entretien et un renouvèlement total. Le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas juste.

Unfortunately due to Covid we couldn't get to France this year, so the issue with the cooker and oven would have been sorted. We relied on a very capable person to organise the villa for us but perhaps it was to much. I think we need to be there in person. Maison très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison de Denise. La maison était propre et très fonctionnelle. Nous y étions avec de jeunes entrants et la maison est tout à fait adaptée. L’emplacement est idéal, au calme et nous a permis de bien découvrir la région.

Beautiful location and spectacular views

We were a family of 5 and stayed her for three weeks (July/August 2020). The view from the balcony is spectacular and the aspect would change depending on the sun's reflection on the mountains or the time of day. Kids absolutely loved the pool - very warm yet refresing..

Great pool quite and private villa

Our family of four (two adults & two teens) stayed here in August for two weeks and found the villa to be spacious quite and private. We were met in the local village by the key holder to get to the villa which was a nice touch after a long drive. The pool is fab for older children definitely big enough to swim and play it also had sun all day shading over at the end of the day which was perfect. The area was lovely with stunning mountain villages with some nice restaurants and canyoning at the bottom of the road. The beach was a drive but not to far with ample parking. Nice and Cannes were also easy accessible for a day out and more beaches. We also enjoyed the table tennis area in the evenings for a competition or two and the artisan shops in Tourette's sur loup.

Fantastic family holiday house.

We had to most lovely family holiday at Cygnes Sauvages. The location is perfect, beautiful scenery and not overlooked at all. The details on line were very good but we all think the house is EVEN BETTER than described! It had everything needed for a holiday and was very clean and tidy on arrival. The pool is a huge selling point and great to jump into after a day on the beach. It is a very good size and sparkling clean, we loved the black liner. We enjoyed the space all around the house lots of terraces and levels, we were 2 adults with 3 students and a 15 year old. We fell in love with local villages of Tourettes sur Loop and St Paul du Vence. Visits to the beach at Cagnes sur Mer were easy too. We would definitely recommend.

We bought this property while on holidays with friends in the area.
We loved its location (far enough from the maddening crowds on the coast but close enough to all amenietes)
We particularly loved the size of the pool, as we have 4 boys we knew this would be used a lot.

We love the quietness of the area. It is a very relaxing holiday, more so that if you were on the coast.
There are lots of activities for the boys locally , cayoning, walking, cycling, swimming ,eating and just relaxing.
