About Jill Warren
Jill & Greg: We are retired science teachers who have lived in the area for nearly 20 years. We purchased our own cabin in 1998 and we've spent every summer and our holidays exploring the Yellowstone ecosystem with our two children. We know the park intimately, and we are happy to sit with you and go over the map of Yellowstone and make recommendations about “must see” stops, sights, or hikes (as well as the best places to spot wolves, bears, and other highlights). In 2015/16, we built Creekside at Yellowstone. We look forward to sharing our appreciation and love for this area with our guests.
Why Jill Warren chose Silver Gate
The Silver Gate Cooke City area is an amazing place. We love the proximity to the park and its wildlife and the unique feel of these two historical towns. Wilderness is all around and a visit here will change you.

We absolutely loved our stay in Silver Gate. The home has anything and everything one would need.
Jill and Greg are wonderful hosts and we are thankful for having an opportunity to have met them.
If you are looking for a meticulous home with YNP at your doorstep and has exceptional hosts look no further.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful property we had a wonderful time exploring YNP for the New Year.
Thank you for your hospitality, kindness, and sharing your knowledge of the area to have made this one of the best vacations we have had.
This home is extremely clean and organized. The view from the back windows makes you feel as if your outside in Yellowstone. The owners do a phenomenal job maintaining this property and attention to detail.
Wonderful location and amenities
This was our 3rd stay and Julie and Greg out due themselves every time.
We come to see the wildlife and enjoy the beautiful nature available around Yellowstone. The location of this property is one of the best, being just outside the Northeast exit of Yellowstone national park. This gives us easy access to Lamarr Valley, our favorite place to watch and photograph animals. Greg and Jill always have the house immaculate, and all the amenities that they have our first class.
Thank you Jill and Greg for another wonderful time.
Chuck and Denise
Chuck & Denise,
Great to see you guys again, we’re so glad you enjoyed your time here, thanks for returning to Creekside!
Such an amazing, well thought out cabin with close access to the park!
Perfect for exploring Yellowstone!
Our party of 6 adults stayed nearly a week and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Both the owners and the property deserve a full 5 star rating, and we only wish we had more time, for we would have extended even a few more days. From the terrific location to the cozy furnishings, and that phenomenal view, Creekside is more than just a place to stay....it felt just like home!!!
This property was perfect for our fall trip to Yellowstone. The house is beautiful and very well kept. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.
From our house, it’s just a 15 - 20 minute drive to Lamar Valley, home to wolves, black and grizzly bear, herds of bison, pronghorn, and elk. All parts of Yellowstone can easily be accessed from our cabin. You’ll love the history, geology, hydrology, ecology, and all the wild animals you’ll see as you travel through the park. It’s not uncommon to see moose, deer, bison, pine marten, weasels, and fox roaming right on our property here in Silver Gate! We can’t think of a better location to stay when visiting Yellowstone.
There is SO much to do in and near our community of Silver Gate/Cooke City. Take a hike out the front door to three nearby waterfalls, or visit area restaurants and gift shops. The many activities include bike riding, fishing, tubing on Soda Butte Creek, kayaking on area rivers or Beartooth Lakes, rock climbing, animal viewing, horseback riding, river rafting, ATV rental, and birding. Take a drive into the Beartooth Mountains and see America’s most scenic highway. Visit the classic western town of Cody, WY and take in a rodeo, or visit the world-class Buffalo Bill Museum. Don’t forget relaxing on the deck with a good book. In the winter months, ski or snowshoe out the front door to area trails, ice climb on the frozen waterfalls, ride your sleds to the groomed trails around Cooke City (plenty of room for a trailer and your trucks in the driveway), or relax by the fire with a good book!
