Villa privada con 3 dormitorios, aire acondicionado, wi-fi gratuito, cerca de la playa con patio y barbacoa. La casa está en el centro del pueblo, muy cerca de la panadería, las tiendas y las tabernas. Está a aproximadamente 50 metros de la playa principal de la ciudad, donde el windsurf es un pasatiempo muy popular. Hay dos playas más pequeñas y tranquilas a unos 10 minutos a pie. La casa está a 25 minutos del aeropuerto de Samos y a 10 de la ciudad de Samos, donde puede tomar un ferry a Turquía y visitar Éfeso por el día.

Staying at Papa Joe’s house was just perfect. It is the place to be with your family. House is small but cute and cosy. Very accessible and walking distance to the beach and to restaurants. House was perfectly clean when we checked in. We used the barbecue area which was awesome. We will surely book again on our next trip to Samos.

Communication was great. All rooms have 2 twins (that can be pushed together). Easy walk to beach and restaurants and grocery. Really quiet neighbors and lovely outdoor space with large table. Appreciate the adaptors, hair dryer and iron! Two bathrooms is also very nice for a bigger family. Parking is easy (nearby). Things to note: Bring your own beach towels. Living room space is quite small (table has 2 chairs). Not much space for suitcases if all rooms are being used but there are quite large armoires. Beds are very hard- Americans: beds are more like a box spring than a mattress. (Very common in Europe - but a surprise jf you’re unfamiliar).

Ein Kleinod in Kokkari

Das kleine Ferienhaus, das offensichtlich vom Besitzer auch selbst genutzt wird, liegt nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt in einer verkehrsberuhigten Straße. Es ist für 6 Personen gut ausgestattet, allerdings gibt es in der Wohnung keinen Esstisch (bzw. nur für 2 Personen), was bei Regen nachteilig ist. Wir hatten aber durchgehend wunderbares Wetter und haben die schöne Sitzgelegenheit im Hof zum Essen genutzt. Das Haus hat einen ganz besonderen Charme, der uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Die Verwalterin Marina war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kokkari selbst ist sehr malerisch, aber auch sehr touristisch. Es bietet sich aufgrund der Lage auch als Ausgabgsbasis für eine Erkundung der Insel an. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in Kokkari in diesem einfachen, aber schönen Haus in bester Lage (sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig). Besonders netter, aufmerksamer Kontakt mit der Agentur und auch vor Ort.

Vacanza a Kokkari

La casa si trova in una posizione tranquilla vicinissima al mare ad in centro paese quindi comoda a tutto L+interno della casa è carino con tutte le scomodità. Il tavolo però che si trova all'interno è troppo piccolo per quattro persone se si vuole mangiare a pranzo quando fuori fa troppo caldo. Camere piccolino per adulti con letti troppo duri. Abbiamo avuto difficoltà nel dormire. Cucina super equipaggiata. I due Bagni vanno bene quando si è in 4 adulti. Giardino con tavolo esterno molto accogliente. Alla sera si sta bene a cenare e chiacchierare fuori. Peccato però che ci siano zanzare ma la cosa più brutta è che si trova davanti ad un grande parcheggio super affollato dal quale proviene molta polvere. Kokkari ci è piaciuto molto ed anche Samos. Un'isola dove ci ritorneremo

Wunderschönes Haus in perfekter Lage

Voll eingerichtetes Haus mit Klimaanlage. Alles sehr sauber und funktionsfähig. Problemloser Kontakt mit der Hauskeeperin vor Ort. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Haus liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße im Ortszentrum - völlig ruhig. 2 Minuten zum Meer, zur Post und zum Bäcker. 5 Minuten zum Ortszentrum.

Empfehlenswert! Simples Haus

Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Lage, nur einige Schritte zum Meer und nachts ist es ruhig, weit genug entfernt von der Touristen-Meile. Es geht hier offenbar auch immer ein angenehmer Wind. Bei unserer Ankuft war alles wunderbar sauber und gereinigt, die Hausverwalterin sehr freundlich. Generell ist es aber einfach ein älteres Haus, einiges ist reparaturbedürgtig. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist für die Ferien ausreichend. Den kleinen Hof haben wir sehr genossen. Alles zusammen war es ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub und wir können das Haus empfehlen.

Kokkariurlaub mit Freundinnen in Papa Joe`s house

Kokkari ist ein typisch griechisches Fischerdorf mit hervorragenden Restaurants.Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage, nicht nur die Nähe zum Strand (3Min.) auch die Lage selbst (Seitenstraße, zwischen 2 Häusern empfanden wir als sehr angenehm. Wir konnten zu jeder Tageszeit auf der Terasse sitzen, war nicht zu heiß, obwohl es heiß war. (großer Tisch mit Sonnenschirm und Stühlen, Holzmöbel). Das Haus hat 3 Schlafzimmer, wobei eins davon sehr klein ist, ein Hochbett wäre für diese Größe von Vorteil. Wir konnten in den Betten alle gut schlafen. Toll war, dass in jedem Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage war. Das Bad ist auch gut, uns fehlten nur Ablagemöglichkeiten. Ablage unterm Spiegel wäre von Vorteil. Sehr gut war,dass es noch eine zweite Toilette gab, auch hier wäre eine Ablage von großem Vorteil .Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar mit Waschmaschine.(SUPER) Uns fehlte nur die Kaffeemaschine oder wenigstens eine Isolierkanne zum Kaffee machen. Auch mehr Handtücher (hatten nur 1 Badetuch, 1 Handtuch) wäre besser gewesen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir empfehlen das Haus auf alle Fälle weiter.

Einfach toll! 5ter * wenn etwas bessere Matratzen da wären.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern. Diese sind nicht die größten aber absolut ok. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügt über alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Der Kühlschrank ist bei 6 Personen etwas klein. Das Bad ist ein Traum für griechische Verhältnisse. Der große Hof mit Grill lädt zum Verweilen ein. Grillen ist ein Abenteuer da die Griechen mit Holz grillen. Also Holz suchen Feuer machen und danach Grillen. War sehr lustig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Papa Joe's Kokkari

A lovely little place to stay and close to the beach and shops, restaurants. Nice and quiet although due to it's position in the little village streets was a bit hot, temps were over 30 when we arrived. Lots of breeze on the beach though. This is more like a home than an apartment with lots of equipment laid on, you don't need anything and Mariana, the housekeeper is very friendly and helpful. Beds a bit hard though but that's Greece! Would defo go back.

Fantastic

We ( 4 audits and a baby)stayed in Matt's house for two nights (wish we would stay longer). It is a wonderful Greek house with a soul located close to the beach and old town. Will definitely try to book it again when we return to Samos.

Perfect villa, amazing location

The villa was everything we had expected and made travelling with two toddlers that bit easier. Would highly recommend staying here and really wish we could go back tomorrow! You are spoilt for choice with restaurants within minutes away from the villa and loved discovering the completely different vibe the harbour had. The owner is excellent at making sure you have all the information you need before you go and the housekeeper Marina is lovely.

My name is Matt Card, I am 48 years old and live in Kent. I work full time as a shift operator at Medway Power Station, which is a CCGT natural gas power station. I am married to Karen and we have 6 children. I am also a part time fire fighter for the Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My Father purchased the property in 2004 and began renting it out in 2005 after extensive refurbishment and restoration. He had been traveling all over Greece since 1978 and eventually fell in love with Samos and in particular Kokkari, so decided to buy a property there. He sadly passed away in 2009 before he had a chance to retire and live in the house. It was left to my Sister and I and we have carried on renting for the past year or so. Kokkari is a very typical beautiful greek fishing village, with a lovely atmosphere and great tavernas. The surrounding area is also stunning especially up in the hills and mountains.

The house is in the centre of the village very close to the bakery, shops and tavernas. It is approximately 60 metres from the main town beach, were wind surfing is a very popular pass time. There are two smaller quieter beaches about 10 minutes walk away. The house is 25 minutes from Samos airport and 10 from Samos town, where you are able to catch a ferry to near by Turkey and visit Ephesus for the day.
