Built in 1946 and restored in 1987, the house is distributed on one floor and has the following rooms:

- Living room with electric fireplace, smart TV and stereo.

- Kitchen equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, toaster, electric coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.

- Three double rooms with heating and air conditioning.
All rooms are accessible.
A cot is available.

- Two full bathrooms with shower tray.

- The exterior of the house has a beautiful patio with swings and a garden with a built-in barbecue, surrounded by numerous fruit trees, vines and a small ecological greenhouse.
In addition, the large solarium area with sun loungers, parasol and pool bar with kitchen (grill) and swimming pool with air conditioning option stand out for a cost of €30 per day to be paid on arrival.
To ensure child safety, this area is delimited by an external fence with a gate.

Perfect for families with children

We had a wonderful stay in the house. It is absolutely perfect for families with children! Ours are 1,5 and 4 years old and had a wonderful time. Outside area was absolutely child safe and -friendly; with fence around the pool and fence toward street. Fresh Oranges and Lemons directly from the tree; the juice was wonderful! Plus; the children had a lot of fun picking the fruits (we are from a big city; they only know Oranges from the store ;-)). Highly recommended if you want a nice stay off the beaten track! Just as a remark: Pool was too cold to use in February; but we didn't need a pool anyway with the little children.

Beautifully located with superb views and lovely aspect; spacious, relaxing environment, well-suited to six people. Warm welcome from owner who tried to be very helpful. Excellent restaurant - La Culata - very close by. Car essential. Varied walking, although very hilly. Fantastic scenery. Thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. Would have been useful to have some English phrases translated from Spanish so we could have communicated better. Also details on bin emptying and recycling. Kitchen could do with a few more pans, in particular and cooking pots for those who like to eat in.

Could be so lovely if it was updated

We booked this 14 months ago & looking at the pictures it looks lovely. The fabric of the building was great, but it hasn’t been maintained properly, it’s grubby & needs a lot of TLC. Do not be fooled by the wheelchair accessible tag - it definitely isn’t, with steps into the property & none of the doorways to the bedrooms are wide enough for a wheelchair. The kitchen is very underwhelming, with a distinct lack of useful utensils - definitely take your own sharp knives or pop to ikea to get one on your way. We were so disappointed that we moved to a different property as soon as we could find one (not easy for 4 adults (one disabled) & 2 children in the Easter Holidays). The young lady who deals with the house was very good and refunded us the remaining days, but the mother - who only speaks Spanish & is the person who shows you round the property when you arrive, was very hostile when we left. Pool is great - but you need to pay to have it heated in the winter months. So - could be lovely but if your looking for a spotless up to date villa, this won’t be for you.

Wij hadden een zeer goed verblijf in dit vakentiehuis. Het ontvangst was zeer hartelijk ook begrepen we elkaar niet altijd even goed. Het namelijk in het spaans en wij in het engels. Het huisje is zeer ruim en heedt een mooi ruim zwembad. Enige minpunt was dat er geen airco in de living was maar wel in de kamers. Met alles open te zetten viel dit wel gedeeltelijk op te lossen. Ook de frigo is misschien aan vernieuwing toe want met het warme weer was het moeilijk om alles koel te houden. Maar zeker de moeite waard om naar dit vakantiehuis te komen als je houd van rust en mooie uitzichten.

Sehr schönes Objekt, sehr freundlicher Empfang und Kommunikation vorweg.

Im Vorwege haben wir und sehr freundlich mit den Eigentümern ausgetauscht, das Objekt wurde freundlich übergeben, leider konnten wir die Waschmaschine nicht benutzen, obwohl sie laut Angebot zur Verfügung stehen sollte. Die Einrichtung ist traditionell, komfortabel mit Kamin, guten Matratzen. Das WLAN war nur im Wohn/Küchenbereich nutzbar, wir haben Unlimitedverträge mit dem Händy, das war sehr hilfreich. Der Pool war echt klasse, ob einem das angenehm warme Wasser 30 pro Tag wert ist, muss jeder für sich entscheiden, wir haben es genossen. Der Pool wurde 2x gereinigt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt und bedanken uns rechtherzlich bei Elena und Ihrer Familie.

Hemos pasado unos merecidos días en pareja, necesarios para desconectar y volver a conectar con la naturaleza en un entorno único al que no le faltaban detalles y todas las comodidades. Hemos pasado unos días inolvidables en una autentica casa típica canaria, su exterior con piscina climatizada , barbacoa y vistas a un entorno natural la hacen única, el interior de la casa recoge todas sus comodidades incorporando una hermosa chimenea, ubicación perfecta para trasladarse tanto al norte como al sur de la isla, repetiremos sin duda.

Agréable villa à Grande Canarie

Une charmante villa typique, au calme et spacieuse. Située entre la montagne et la mer. Très belle piscine et terrasse. Possibilité de chauffer la piscine avec supplément mais cela n’a pas été utile. Si on doit chercher une petite amélioration, il manque un peu d’ustensiles de cuisine type petites cuillères et il serait utile de changer les poêles. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. A conseiller.

Ein Paradies abseits des Touristentrubels

Das Haus hat einen charmanten, ursprünglichen Stil und liegt zentral in einem kleinen Örtchen oberhalb von Valsequillo. Das Highlight war der traumhafte Pool. Wir haben dort viel Zeit verbracht und dank der Poolheizung (separat zu zahlen, aber Empfehlung) konnten wir sogar nachts darin baden und den Sternenhimmel betrachten. In der Gegend waren wir fast die einzigen Touristen -die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Canarios, war einfach unglaublich. Ein Besuch im Caluta 2 direkt gegenüber ist ein absolutes Muss! Nach unseren Ausflügen in den touristischen Süden waren wir immer froh, wieder in "unserem" Dorf zu sein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in dieser ursprünglichen Region ist wirklich super. Ein Mietwagen ist ein Muss, um von hier aus die Insel zu erkunden. Man kann direkt vor dem Haus parken und ist in etwa 25 Minuten am Meer. Dank der zentralen Lage sind alle Fahrten innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar. Im Ort gibt es einen winzigen Laden, der alles für den täglichen Bedarf hat und schon für sich allein ein Erlebnis ist. In Valsequillo gibt es einen Spar, der alles bietet, und eine tolle Fleisch-/Wurst-/Käsetheke. Am Sonntag empfehlen wir den Markt in San Mateo zu besuchen. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber ein paar zusätzliche große flache Teller wären nicht schlecht. Die Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert und die Matratzen sind super bequem! Milagrosa und ihre Tochter Elena haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert – Muchas Gracias!

SUMANDO ESTANCIAS INOLVIDABLES

Somos repetidores, conocíamos la casa y sus alrededores y estábamos contando los días para volver. Ir en invierno tiene sus ventajas, ahora hay piscina climatizada y es una maravilla poder disfrutarla. Como novedad, también nos encontramos con un sistema de calefacción en las habitaciones que lo hicieron aún más reconfortante. En definitiva, la casa está totalmente equipada para disfrutar tanto de su interior como del exterior y estar en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Gracias de corazón a sus propietarios por su cariño y amabilidad en todo momento y por proporcionarnos la leña adecuada para la chimenea que hicieron de nuestra estancia largas veladas. Volveremos. Ideal para descansar.

La casa nos ha servido para descontar y recargar energía. Ha pocos metros hay una para de autobús que te lleva hasta la para central de Telde y desde allí salen buses para distintos puntos de la isla. Para comprar agua ó algo de comida esta la tienda de Nieves que seguramente a mas de uno sacará de apuros.

Hervorragender Urlaub

Milas Ferienhaus ist eine Familienidylle, mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben die Ruhe und Ferne vom Tourismus genossen. Das Haus liegt in den Bergen, bieten neben dem schönen Pool einen schönen Garten, Grillecke und Relaxliegen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und das Haus war sauber. Ein Unbedingtes „ Muss“ ist die gegenüberliegende Gaststätte La Calutta II, in der man noch wirklich Gast ist und buchstäblich wie ein König behandelt wird. Der Tennisplatz ist offen und kann genutzt werden. Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel und einige Strände sind innerhalb einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und bedanken uns noch einmal herzlich bei Mila.
