About Mrs Patricia Quinn
My family are originally from Northumberland and whilst visiting my mother, we came across our delightful house. With my husband and myself both leading busy lives, we find walking the beaches during the day and then settling in front of our log burner with a glass of wine the perfect way to relax. Our grown up chidren also enjoy a weekend break at the house with their partners; although they tend to go into Newcastle upon tyne for lively bars, posh restaurants and the theatre, as it is only a 25 minute drive away.
Why Mrs Patricia Quinn chose Newbiggin-by-the-Sea
We bought the house because of its perfect seafront position. It has direct access to the beach. It offers wonderful coastal walks.
What makes this House unique
The large farmhouse table is ideal for dinner parties with room enough for friends and family; whilst enjoying a sea breeze and stunning views on a summer night. Sea fishing from the beach is an early morning treat and the dogs are allowed on the beach from Sept until April but children can go any time !

Beautiful house with the most stunning view of the sea. Clean and beautifully presented.
We stayed here over the October half term. 2 adults. 2 children, a baby and a small dog.
I cannot praise this house enough it has more than you'd ever need and well equipped.
From booking onwards the communication was excellent with the owner they were very quick to answer with any answers to my questions and lovely friendly owners.
A garage for the car was a bonus, something you often don't get elsewhere, especially in October weather.
The house was much bigger than we thought from the photos and it had beautiful high ceilings.
It was clean and warm throughout, it was such a welcome to walk into the house with the heating on as it was a cold day that we arrived. The welcome hamper was carefully thought out and a lovely surprise for us.
The view was the best thing for us, absolutely beautiful. We used to get up early just to watch the sun rise over the sky which was a sight I'll treasure forever.
Lovely big bay windows made the house light and airy with stunning views.
The log fire was such a lovely touch to the house, especially for our October /November visit.
The house had way more than we ever needed, especially the vast amount of games, books, films etc. We had some wonderful times playing the games at the table.
The beach was fantastic for the dog, a lovely clean beach that if you timed right had some amazing rock pools which my children loved.
Having the extras such as the dishwasher and washing machine made our stay much easier.
The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. All the bed lined included was lovely too.
The furniture throughout was good quality and we stayed there very comfortably.
The whole booking process and stay was a very positive one and we would love to return to make some more amazing family memories there.
We highly recommend this property.
Thank you to the owners for a lovely stay we hope to be back soon :)
House is exactly as described. Views are stunning. Don't tell everyone !!
Wonderful sea views and a very comfortable house
The house is well equipped and attractively furnished. The sea view is wonderful and the house is in a great location to explore the rest of Northumberland. A very comfortable and restful stay
Very comfortable & well equipped.
Great location with a fantastic sea view from the lounge & bedroom windows.
Nice house and location
Just a pity that Mrs Quin had not kept her record of our booking and could not be contacted so we had trouble getting access. I hope the bathroom plug now works and there is a plug or washing up bowl in the kitchen sink. Could have been just right with attention to detail. It worked well taking the elderly in- laws. Helpful neighbour.
I would like to say sorry this is the first time this has happened in 5 years of renting the house out.
I was driving from Worcester to Newcastle for my Mothers funeral and that is why I couldn't answer my phone.
When I arrived I went straight to the house to make sure everything was done for the guest.
Sorry I missed the plug , no idea where that went .
Beautiful relaxing views, friendly locals and dog friendly!
We all, including our four legged family member, had a very relaxing time, just sitting there with the views was enough to waste Manny hours.
